The environment, atmosphere, to be close to the sea...Very good things in a walking/biking distance...The Txik Txak bus service...Trees around, supermarkets nearby...Not loud music or people...Nice people around...

Good size pitch with a view of the sea. Lovely swimming pool. Excellent reception staff (Elma and Marina) who were helpful and caring.
Better signage at the sanitary block to ensure that the disabled facwere not used by non-disabled. Poor quality access road.

Excellent location beside the sea, great facilities - pool, restaurant. Very good pitch size (some varied on how level they were). Short cycle to St Jean de Luz (mainly easy but a steep climb in both directions!) Weekend animations gave a lively atmosphere but finished by 11pm.
Need to consider separate gender shower facilities (this easily done as two shower areas could be designated)

We liked the pitch and the pool. Plus we liked mendigorria the village on the hill

For us as a couple it was too noisy with lots of summer camps so always lots of & lots of excitable children

No shade Dip in ground caused it to be mucky. This area was devoid of grass. The soil was gritty and sandy which was impossible to keep out of our car/ caravan

This is our 4th time, a middle aged couple travelling alone, and we line the location, the nature, and usually the attitude of everyone we meet
The clean up service in last my day has changed and it’s actually a disgrace
As usual the setting, peace, solitude and positioning were all top notch h.
Fridge wasn’t optimum but the clean up on leaving was deplorable

A very good location with excellent facilities. Heated swimming pool bar and restaurant all perfectly maintained and staffed. The campsite is fenced off from the public, with easy access to the beach. Excellent opportunity to cycle-walk to St Jean which is a vibrant seaside and harbour town.

Nice beautifully kept site, have stayed before and visit whenever we are in the area. Nice beach just outside the campsite and a jolly beach bar to watch the sun go down!
This time we were parked in front of the men's urinal 183 and suggest the open fencing is replaced by a hedge/ closed fence in order to block that view. Also to book via the telephone when we were in the mountains and could not get a WiFi signal...cost us 24e which i think was extortionate considering we are Acsi members!!

We really enjoyed our four night stay. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The pitches are large and well laid out with lovely sea views from our pitch. Excellent restaurant and good sanitaires. We would be happy to stay again.

All staff were friendly and helped us when we had a disaster with the caravan coming off the tow bar as we left The reception and maintenance staff helped above and beyond their remit. We would recommend this site and will be back again😀

Had a see view pitch, still close to all the facilities. Showers hot, pot wash hot. 2 minutes from beach, restaurants and bars. 15/20 min walk to town along coastal route. Return visit and will return.

Stayed 2 nights on a sea view pitch. 50 min walk in SJDLL after our small dog was refused bus pass. Lovely town to explore. Had a nice, very reasonable meal at the popular in-house bar/restaurant. Would stay again.
Pitch was level but many pitches required leveling blocks. Mixed Sanitary block was excellent and cleaned regularly. Plenty of hot water and all cubicles had both shower and sink inside.
Annoying but not the 1st time front desk failed to know the local buses had a no dog policy, when asking with the dog at the desk. Suggest timetable should hightlight and have a viable sign.

From ringing up two days before our stay to see if there was room for us, to the end of our fortnight, nothing was too much trouble for the staff, particularly Marina and Elma in reception. The pitches were large with easy access to water, waste and electricity hook-up. The swimming pool was heated and inviting and the restaurant and epicerie were adequate for our needs. The proximity to the beach was a real bonus and the whole St Jean-de-Luz area is wonderful.
The access road could do with improvement but we realise that this was not the responsibility of the campsite.
