Clean well tidyed site. Great staff who were uber friendly. Air of quality and a very good location.
The interenet was poor and kept dropping out.

The mattresses are fine but a bit hard. Hurt our backs a bit.

The general ambience and peaceful surroundings, the fact it is pedestrianised. The pool area is lovely and the bakery service is excellent. The garden was a lovely size and was pretty much self contained. The EV Charging was a bonus and the location so close to the beach is excellent.
The garden. Private considering the neighbours are so close. Love the high quality of the appliances and the fact it has its on boiler.
There was no air flow on the terrace which made it very stuffy in the heat, the outdoor bed is fantastic and the privacy is great but in the heat it was stifling. Only a small thing but some vents to permit air flow and allow a little breeze would have been very welcome.

Private accommodation (very little vis-a vis) with garden that offered both sun and shade at most times of the day. It was great having our own private jacuzzi. The size of the site and the quality of the service and materials provided and the aftercare from the family run team was perfect. They responded very quickly when we had any issues or needs. Good to have dedicated parking spot with the rest of the site car free. We stayed 6 nights and travelled with our small dog so good to have the trolleys for luggage. Pool was excellent and always sun loungers available.

Considering we were staying in the most expensive accomodation it would have been nice to have a few more of the basic essentials included (i.e soap, shower gel etc) whilst bed linen was available at extra cost it might be worth being offered free if paying the premium price and staying 'X' number of days. The type of things that now come as standard even in the most basic of hotels.

We have just returned from a holiday at Camino La foret. We stayed in a villa lounge and had the best week. The campsite is beautifully designed and maintained. The lounge villa was just perfect for our family of four with 2 young children. They had so much fun in the pool and playground. All of the staff on site couldn’t have been more helpful to us at all times. Delicious food available from the snack on two evenings. The location close to Norte Dame des monts and the beautiful beaches is just perfect. Thank you to all the team at La Foret for a wonderful week.
Lounge villa was well equipped for cooking and very spacious with the shady outside pergoda area. A fantastic shower too.

Our holiday home was immaculately clean. It was perfectly placed near the forest and beautiful beach. Really nice to have the beach garden area and covered area.
Liked the covered area to sit for dinner, as it was shady in the sun but covered if there was rain. Private to sit outside too. The lodge was comfortable, clean and well equipped.

This is the most Tranquil & Peaceful campsite/lodges you will ever visit run by a lovely family. Location you are spoilt for choice from the exit for a bike ride by velodyssey or a walk by a path in the shade of the forest that takes us directly to the beautiful beaches of Vendée. And what about the infrastructure: everything is tasteful, beautifully decorated lodges equipped with quality equipment, carefully maintained pitches and vegetation. And a special mention for the quality of its welcome and the kindness of its staff always listening to its guests.

Wonderful new accommodation combines with the long-standing superb hospitality by a friendly and welcoming family-run site. Every detail is attended to, yet the site culture of peaceful family-friendly relaxation is maintained. Congratulations! I do not give 10/10 ratings easily, but the team has really excelled on every level and has maintained the highest standards for over 10 years of our visits. We have recommended the site to our friends who have stayed and said exactly the same as us.
New, spotlessly clean and well-appointed accommodation boasts simplicity and luxury in balance with sustainable ecological practices. The local flora interwoven into the site is both attractive and effective and underlines the philosophy of the site to have balance with nature.
Not a dislike, but a potential improvement could be the addition of an air-fryer to the cooking facilities. The hob is modern and high-quality, as are all of the appliances and the plancha provides for almost all needs. The addition of an air fryer to the accommodation would provide an energy-efficient benefit, however I understand the site philosophy is. Moving away from excessive energy consumption so I respect their intentional choice in this matter, it is a purely personal opinion.

Stayed here in July 2025 and this was our 4th stay at La Foret. Greg and Wiebke are lovely people and can't do enough to make sure your holiday is everything you wish for. I can't recommend it enough.
The villa is very modern, spotlessly clean and well equipped. It's set apart from the camping resort but near enough to use the pool after a very short walk.

Everything you need in the lounge. Loved the covered outside space where we spent most of our time. Dog loved lying in the shade.
When we stayed it was unbearably high temperature and the cabins needed a fan, especially at night. Understand the reluctance bring an eco friendly resort but possibly solar powered fans in the roof?

Had a great stay for 3 nights with my husband and son. The lodge was fantastic - superbly decorated and finished, private outdoor area and wonderful whirlpool tub outside. The resort is a short but lovely walk to the beach through a forest path. I was really impressed with the site and would definitely recommend and return

We stayed for 9 nights and it was perfect! We were running late for check in and this wasn't an issue at all, the staff are all so lovely and helpful with anything you need. Spoke very good English which we were very grateful of as our French could do with some work! The site was quiet and very well located, lovely beach and lots of wildlife including a Tawny Owl and a hummingbird moth! Recommend the pizza they offer too! The Swimming pool was gorgeous, really nice and clean. We charged our car in the car park, very useful service and a good price. Can't wait to come back next year! LOVED IT

The villa was fantastic! Super clean on arrival and had everything we needed for a lovely stay. Having a private spa was a real luxury and it was kept clean throughout our stay with no interruption. We managed to cook most nights with the appliances provided and the utensils provided were great quality! The Nespresso coffee machine was well used! Even when it was busy it was still very quiet and we felt like we had enough privacy in our villa.
Nothing! I just didn't realise there was a towel pack you could order, would definitely do that next time! As well as booking the cleaning, I think it's worth it after a long stay!

For us the first time in a small house on a camping, luckily it was not noisy from the other people who live close together. The place is ideal to explore the long beaches and forests with your dog. The forest is nice in the shade when it is warm and along the sea you have enormous beaches when the tide is out.
Small point of improvement that will be solved automatically in the future will be the privacy. The plants between the houses are now very small, because of this we sometimes had the feeling that we were on holiday with the neighbours. It is also a bit more uncomfortable to relax in your own bubble bath, but those are only really small things.
For us it was small but also nice with all the luxury you can expect in a spa villa.
It is a pity that there is no oven in the villa so that you can bake things. In the early season there is a bit more peace and so there is not always something open where you can eat well.

We loved returning to La Forêt and discovering the new villas! So comfortable, private and perfectly placed for retracing footsteps of our memories past.
Sand path to villa was very slippery, I fell over.
Comfortable, spacious and easy living. We loved the hot tub and covered space for yoga.
