We have just returned from a wonderful 10 days at camping Les genets, the facilities and accommodation were of a high standard and perfect for us and our young family, we loved the pools and entertainment. It is a lovely area with great beach and plenty of activities locally. The staff are very friendly and helpful
A very minor criticism, We rented a bbq for our stay but no barbecue cooking tools were provided, if we had known I would have brought some with us, it would be useful to provide guests with a list of what is provided before they travel.

Felt a little cramped. Not much space between cabins and pitches. Disabled toilet was not working the entire time we were there which was needed for our son.
Pitch was a good size and close to facilities
Pitch was right on a corner which was a busy spot. Sandy pitch which was very messy and got everywhere in our accomodation

Wonderful resort in a lovely area. Loads to do, close to the beach. Excellent pool complex with indoor & outdoor pools & slides. Really pleasant & helpful animators, & reception staff were really helpful.
I think a Barbecue should come as standard with all accommodation

The pool and the general St.Hillaire de Riez area were the big draw back to Les Genets. It was very accessible to activities in the area. Anne in reception was very helpful when we had an issue.
The restaurant was not open all the time, the takeaway served pizza but we had to go to the food truck for chips which made no sense at all. Everything catered for French holidaymakers but not the Irish who were the ones spending alot of money on site. Their requests at the bar were not met and completely disregarded despite French holiday makers not spending money at the bar. That was very disappointing and would turn us off returning to the site.
It was a typical cabin. The island is handy as it gives more space for preparation at meal time.
The cabin was not very clean on arrival. We had to go to reception twice over 1. Decking chairs were filthy with food stuck in them. 2. A frying pan had food stuck to it. These were rectified. The presses were not fully wiped out and no bbq equipment was supplied.

Tent accommodation was filthy dirty and substandard considering the cost. It had not been thoroughly cleaned before we arrived.

Having been several times it still feels so good to return. The pool area is fabulous and just love the area. Anne and team are amazing and so helpful. Would recommend the site to everyone!
Booking fee at €30 seemed excessive when booked the day before and in a quieter period.

Good site for young families. Close to beach and supermarket. 10 minutes by car to the centre of St. Jean de Monts
The toilet block beside the swimming pool was not laid out very well which resulted in men using the ladies toilet/shower facilities. My daughters were uncomfortable with this. Signage needs to be more obvious. I informed reception staff who said it would be remedied next season as new shower block were due to be installed. A simple sign could have been used in the meantime. The other 2 shower blocks were better laid out so no issues with them.
Our pitch no 40 was between 2 mobiles. Adequate space and some shade from the trees
The pitch was directly in front of the staircase of the biggest water slide so it was noisy during the pool opening hours

We have spent our main holiday at Les Genets campsite on and off now for 27 years from when our children were small and now with their own families. Campsite is run by extremely dedicated staff and has fabulous facilities.
Cannot say we dislike anything however I would highlight that the showers can be extremely hot especially in the evening. One suggestion is to change to mixer supply to allow you to adjust the temperature.
Pitches are spacious and clean. This year the addition of a small shed was an excellent addition

The campsite appears to be run by teenagers unable to operate the place properly. Food from the takeaway was poor and waited 1.5hrs for a pizza after which the chef said he forgot about me. Pitch was very tight and very sandy my van got stuck in it the first day also it took ages to get the camping gear clean after all the sand and pine needles. Waste disposal for the camper was very far from the pitch. Showers and bathroom facilities where dirty. The vip package was bad the sunloungers where broken and didn't sit properly. Tumble dryer was broken for the entire stay in our local wash area
Not 5 star very sandy and no maintenance done on them where covered in pine needles. The vip package is a waste of money as one of our sun loungers was broken and bbq where dirty. Pitch was also very small and provided little or no privacy
Was totally sub standard fora 5 star. We are now in La pin Parasol and the pitches are clean well much larger ,organised and free from any sand.

Pool complex was amazing. No busy so many lovely pools. Kids were entertained daily even in the rain.
Toilets and showers were OK ish often no soap and the main area locked at night so often queues with teenagers waiting outside. Too dark to let even the 12 year old up alone in the eve. Kids got hassled by teenagers in toilets one night too..... We were near the pool complex but lots of footfall by tent. Pitch was very unlevel. Lots of birds in the trees but that also meant lots of bird poo on the tent! Large area for games is all boules tiny football pitch usually owned by teenagers so our kids wouldn't get

All the facilities are brillant. The Pool the Bar the slides. The entertainment was good as well(but maybe a little bit in English).
The Camping pitch’s needs a bit off tidying covered in weed and sand. Sand get everywhere inside the Campervan..

Nous avions besoin de repos, c'est chose faite ! Camping agréable 👍😊
Éventuellement améliorer la partie sanitaire de l'espace aquatique qui est toute petite comparé aux bel espace aquatique qui est mise à disposition et qui peut accueillir beaucoup de monde.
Les mobile-homes sont spacieux, et récent c'est agréable d'y séjourner.
Difficile d'avoir de l'eau chaude pour la vaisselle.

Les enfants 12 et 8 ans ce sont bien amuser , le logement très bien propre et spacieux. Mais la pataugeoire eau limite froide pour un bébé de 3 mois
