Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoLoved the campsite facilities, enjoyed the bar/restaurant being open off season. Lots of good places to visit in the area. Only downside was the stink bugs looking to hibernate, even though we were extra cautious and didn’t get any outside furniture out while there, we managed to find three in the van on our return to UK.

Our first holiday abroad as a family in our caravan. We did lots of research and were so happy to find camping le Paradis open in the quiet season. The campsite is beautiful and well looked after. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Swimming pool is clean, pitches are a great size and facilities well looked after. We had such a great adventure here and would absolutely recommend it to everyone. Thank you so much!

Too expensive for what it is
Clean facilities, friendly staff, good location, pool, sauna, nice feel.
Pitches are total mud in wet weather, the grass is worn out completely. Outrageously expensive (extra pay) washing machines and dryers compared to any normal campsite.

As for your comment about the laundry, it has been taken into consideration. This service, available 24h∕24, is indeed at an extra charge as in most accommodation establishments like ours. Finally, our rates are fair compared to other 5* establishments in the same region, justified by the quality of our facilities and services, which you have appreciated: large pitches (minimum 90m²), an abundance of vegetation, a vast heated aquatic area (with free access to the spa), a trained and caring team...: we guarantee you a good time at Le Paradis. We stayed at 9 sites in France during September and Le Paradis was by far the best. Excellent grounds, gardens and general cleanliness.
Pitch was muddy but understandable due to a lot of rain and end of season. We are in the restaurant and was disappointed in the food. Service was very good & great quiz 👍

Stink bugs everywhere, in the caravan, in the beds and cupboards.We disposed of dozens, we have moved on and they are still in the caravan. All screens were closed. I realise this is not campsite’s fault but it spoilt our stay.

The site was immaculate and clean. All facilities are to hand and loads of stuff to do. Great walks for me and the dog. We enjoyed a meal at the onsite restaurant which was excellent.
Our second day we were inundated with a flying beatle that we think are called stink bugs. Not the sites fault just one of those things when you are out in nature. I have to add that the site where great about and allowed us to move to a different pitch after we moved we had no more problems.

A wonderful family run site committed to making the site environmentally friendly. Recycling, electric chargers. This site is like no other site we’ve stayed on. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside, next to a river. You are not squashed into small pitches. There are flowers and shrubs, amazing bamboo tunnels. Vegetable and herb garden that you can help yourselves. Inside and outside pools, superb children’s play areas. Bikes, canoes to hire. Bar, restaurant, shop and ice cream counter. Lovely courtyard for having a drink or listening to the entertainment. JUST BOOK NOW. 😀

We love everything about this site, the location, facilities, ambiance. For this visit we had arranged for our pitch to be next to the “tente canadienne” that our grandchildren were staying in and everything was perfect

Toilet blocks are a bit tired. When booking in the receptionist was busy with a kitten on her shoulder and took 2 phone calls and kept us waiting for 10 minutes

Checking in. About 6 vans all given maps to choose their own pitch. Which meant by the time you got back it was hone, or having some Dutch woman telling you No you can't have that one. All in the pouring rain

The cleanliness of the whole site especially the sanitary areas was good.
Back ground music in the sanitary blocks, soft closing doors on WC and showers. Draught excluding strip around door would help

The campsite was spotlessly clean, well planned and staff extremely friendly and helpful. It was situated in a very beautiful and interesting part of France, with the Vezere running alongside the campsite and the famous cave paintings of Montignac Lascaux within easy reach. The amenities and facilities on the campsite were excellent.
None that I can think of!
The Cottage was clean, modern and very well equipped. It had heating and air conditioning so very comfortable. The decking was under cover for either the sun or rain and the emplacement was very private, with lots of trees and vegetation for privacy.
Nothing I can think of. The majority of the visitors were either couples or families with small children. I think that teenagers or younger people would have been a bit bored, maybe not in high season. It appeals to those who love peace, quiet in a beautiful surroundings.
