Superb campsite in an ideal location. Great pool facilities, very clean and peaceful. Particularly enjoyed the flowers and planting.
I can’t think of any! Only small thing could have been more things like soap / toilet roll etc in the house.
Well stocked, modern, very clean. Comfortable.
Staircase was tricky to navigate in the dark, especially the bottom step.

We loved the sanitaires - very modern and very clean. The pools were just the right size and temperature. The split up of the camping areas into small sections was very well done. The good on site restaurant was appreciated. The sites proximity to some pretty villages was great. Cycling on the lightly trafficked roads was good.
The shop could do with a few more basic items. The baguettes were the worst we had in all our camping sites. The Traditional or Rustique types would be very much appreciated rather than the no taste standard ones offered!!!
The privacy provided by the separation into smaller groups and dividing hedges. Lots of shade.

Huge pitches we did book an XXL but worth it. Excellent facilities best shower block we have ever had. Pool site was great plenty of space for everyone. Staff everywhere were friendly and very efficient. Definitely liked happy hour. Restaurant meal very good. Lots of choice. Shop well stocked and staff member very chatty.and funny. Loved the vegetable and her garden.
Cut hedges back a bit where you turn into the pitches. Very tight for larger vans

We have always chosen to preserve the site’s natural and lush green character by limiting roadworks as much as possible, in order to maintain the garden-like atmosphere that defines Le Paradis. With its 273 pitches spread across a vast wooded park, the campsite remains deliberately on a human scale, and traffic is generally light, with a speed limit of 10 km/h. As the vast majority of our guests are families, we see on a daily basis the special care taken to ensure the safety and well-being of children. We hope you will have fond memories of your stay on the banks of the Vézère and that we will have the pleasure of welcoming you back to enjoy the gentle way of life in the Dordogne. The gardens, shower blocks, shop, bar, activities were all absolutely fantastic. The pool area was amazing and plenty big enough during this crazy heatwave. I would 100% return. Every staff member was very polite and always greeted us. They also spoke in English around me when I was in the laundry room, which was very thoughtful (although I wouldn't mind either way). This campsite was one of the best, if not the best, I have stay at and the kids were very impressed too.
Very minor things really...A few showers and toilets were closed throughout the week. During busy times it would have been nice to have all of these accessible. Some of the floors around the pool area were too hot to walk on during the scorching weather. Possibly adding some options to the only vegetarian/vegan option (salad) like some goats cheese or something more substantial to bulk it out a bit. Or a vegan burger option for the steak one maybe.
We loved the view of the river. We made friends with a pair of blackbirds who visited us every day. The sounds of the wildlife created a lovely relaxing environment for our stay.

Beautiful campsite, friendly and helpful staff.
One small suggestion: we stayed on “Eucalyptus”, and although the trees and bushes are nice to look at, they restrict visibility. Driving a vehicle out of the side alleys, even done very slowly, is a bit dangerous because the driver cannot see vehicles or bicycles on the main camp road until the front of the car is sticking out into the road. Even on foot, coming from the sanitaire, I had to step back quickly a couple of times as children on bicycles approached silently and perhaps a little fast. Maybe trim the bushes back a little?

Very well layed out pitches in small avenues of 9 pitches with hedges and trees
Some gravel pitches which would be good at beginning and end of season when weather can be wet. Pitches always spoilt by ground sheets which leave a muddy area when wet or no grass.

The showers and toilet blocks were immaculate. The view from the washing up area were beautiful and of course the amazing swimming pool. Very well positioned too for exploring the region.
Some of the toilets and showers were ‘fermé’ when we stayed, which caused queues at peak times. We always went early though to avoid this.
It was a good size and private, with the hedges and trees.

As always superb!! This is a truly amazing place to stay ! The 4 th here with our horses too!! The gardens are so brilliantly kept and spotlessly clean! The staff are so friendly and very helpful, especially when I arrived totally stressed out having had my car break down en route towing my horses too!! They were very helpful phoning up the garage etc ! The trails around the area are fantastic and we went out for the day with the horses exploring ! I don’t usually give any negatives but a change and more menu choice needed at the restaurants !!

stunning !!!…loved it !!!! So close to nature ..every morning and evening the birds visited us and a young blackbird perched on my husbands head!!!! Everything you needed in there too ! Perfect t ..will definitely book this again !!

Top quality campsite. The bar and restaurant were excellent. The staff were very professional and made our stay very enjoyable. We loved the happy hour at the bar and the ACSI price was amazing for the facilities.
