Staff were almost all excellent and couldn't do enough to help. We particularly enjoyed the young man doing the children's disco which was really fun and the older man doing the bingo. The activities were traditional and wholesome. We enjoyed renting bikes to ride along the river from the site and the pool area was super and clean. We enjoyed the splash pad which was never busy and there were enough sunbeds for everyone. Food in the restaurant was great.
We rented a 'garden pack' and on arrival the fridge had not been cleaned. We had an unfortunate encounter with the senior waiter in the restaurant who yelled at me in front of our children because he believed we had tried to steal someone's table. This was quickly resolved by another waiter who found there were two bookings under the name 'Charlotte' for the same night (both for 5 people) and he had sat us at the wrong table. It wasn't a problem for us to move but it wasn't a nice experience as my little girl was upset as she thought we had done something wrong and we received no apology.
Spacious and private pitch on three sides with good shade. Close to an excellent modern toilet block. Table and chairs we rented were good quality. Felt very in touch with nature with a wildflower field at the back.
The communal tap drain was on the side of our pitch and people often emptied into it or used it late at night. The fridge was not clean upon arrival.

The laundry facilities need enlarging, 3 accessible washing machines for a large site with families staying for 3 weeks are just not enough.

We love this site everything was great. The cycle repair service was brilliant too.
Soap dispenser by the sink in the disabled toilet in the new sanitary block would be a good addition.

This is a return visit to camping le Paradis for ourselves . We arrived earlier this year and it was a different experience for us , the campsite was a lot livelier with youngsters enjoying the available amenities . The staff still kept the site looking immaculate , so merci to them all .
The trees and shrubs give ample shade and privacy between other campers . The site is very well kept and a credit to the owners and staff .

The landscaping and flowers around the sight were lovely. All of the staff were brilliant too: polite, motivated and helpful.
The pony ride event was a bit stressful- late start with no confirmation on where to queue led to a lot of stressed young children pushing and jossling to have their turn.
Proximity to the river and privacy provided by clever use of hedges. Very efficient aircon.
Was not as clean when we arrived as it was after we cleaned it before departure. Two dishwasher tablets is not enough for a family of four for a week.

New sun loungers round pools as they aren't that comfortable. Update them with the grey ones in seating area by playground

We loved the pool and the easy river access at the site!

The cleaning brooms were stored in the toilet. The accommodation was West facing. South or east facing might have been nicer in the evenings. The single beds could have been more comfortable.

Pool is fab. The river is beautiful. Whole site is clean and well cared for. The morning pastries are lovely and staff are very helpful. Go karts were well loved.
More washing machines and dryers. There was a queue every day to use the 3/2 for public use.
The pitch was a great size with good shading. Not far from the shower block. Very peaceful. Great table and umbrella.
If coming from UK and renting a fridge you need a splitter for the mains plus or a French-English adapter.

Grass on the pitches. Stop campers from putting polythene down which kills the grass.

Lack of grass was not good. The whole pitch was F3 was completely bare of any grass.

We were put right next to the sess pit -fos which smelt really bad, could not sit outside and we had to ask to be moved. Secondly large groups of people taking over the eating area each night. Large groups of teenagers roaming campsite and hanging out at toilets night time, intimidating for younger children.

Where do I start. This is the first time we have been to France and Camping Le Paradis and we absolutely loved it. The staff are amazing, the facilities are second to none and it has such a great feeling too.
We had a great pitch, situated near the river but nothing is far away wherever you stay.

It’s a perfect site. Excellent facilities and very welcoming staff and the Kuster family. We have visited the campsite14 times over the last 31 years, now visiting with our grown up family and their children. It’s lovely particularly as it is a small site with a lovely friendly atmosphere. We hope to continue to visit in the future.

As always, Le Paradis lives up to its 5 stars. The beautiful grounds and pool are pristine, facilities are clean and well maintained and the food and drink are of the highest quality. We come every year and are never disappointed.
If I was being really picky, I’d suggest the take away options be expanded, especially when the wildfires have taken away the option to barbecue at the accommodations.
The accommodation has everything needed for a self catering holiday. Extremely comfortable and beautifully maintained.

The whole site is beautifully maintained, the pool area is a highlight! Nicest facilities we’ve ever had on a campsite. The river and the kayak trips are such a bonus to have onsite. Overall a really great campsite and we will definately be back.
3 washing machines for a campsite that size isn’t enough. Also the kayaks being left at the access point to the river causes chaos as they aren’t collected frequently. Dangerous having them stacked on the slope and provides minimal access to the river.

Our laundry room does indeed have three washing machines and three tumble dryers, available 24 hours a day. Regarding the canoes, they should be moved up after arrival to keep access to the river and pontoon clear. Our partners collect them daily, although they can occasionally accumulate during particularly busy periods. Everywhere is so looked after, it feels a joy to be in. Friendly welcoming team who clearly all love working there. The main thing is I love how much of the campsite is still dedicated to vans, tents, caravans, trailers - traditional camping and not been given away to chalets like many sites in France. I think this is partly due to the flood risk but please don’t ever change this.
The older toilet block is still great and clean but the new one is amazing, so it’d be great to have the other one updated in time
