Overall a well maintained family run site, beautiful gardens, lovely swimming pools for all ages, sanitary blocks were kept sparkling, indeed one was refurbished and reopened during our stay, staff were very helpful and welcoming.
Whilst the pitches were well shaded and spacious with water, drainage and electric, ample space for awning with a canopy and car although it was a little tight to manoeuvre a twin axle in position down the cul-de-sac other than with a motor mover.

Dear Potton Family, Thank you for your kind review. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Le Paradis. We’re sorry that you weren’t informed about the temporary closure of one of the toilet blocks, and we appreciate your understanding. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back soon. Perfect for adults and children, perfectly maintained, clean and safe. Friendly atmosphere and terrific location. Most relaxing holiday I have had in a long time knowing the 14yr old was totally safe being independent in the campsite. Thank you!
Clean, practical and good AC but need fan that is provided to circulate the air into the bedrooms
A bedside table with a drawer would be handy. Very little space to store your food in a cupboard.

Atmosphere, weather, happy hour, staff, great cycling base.
Recommend 4 mins for a shower but it took a long time for warm water to come through waisting water.
Good pitch

Lovely site in a perfect place to explore the Dordogne. The whole site is well maintained with a lovely pool area. The bar and restaurant is in its own courtyard which gives the impression of being separate from the site. Throughout the site there are beautifully maintained garden areas.
There were a couple of times when we had to queue for a toilet. Maybe the other toilet block was still closed? I was concerned that there was very little grass on our plot which would have very quickly turned to mud if it rained (fortunately didn't). Whilst the site has a good recycling/bio/organic policy it surprisingly does not require campers to have perforated ground sheets to allow the grass to grow underneath.
Large quiet plot in a location sheltered by trees. Perfect
I would have welcomed more grass on the plot. See my previous comment.
Dear family Gingell, thank you for this lovely review, we are glad that you appreciated the areas and the facilities in our campsite. We apologize for the occasional wait at the toilets — one of the sanitary blocks was still closed during this period, because of renovation work. Regarding the grass on your pitch, thank you for your feedback. We hope to welcome you again soon!

The campsite had everything possible for the very young babies to the older generation. Beautifully laid out with fantastic array of plants and trees. Extremely friendly staff and superb front of house at reception. Extremely clean everywhere including all toilets and showers. Wouldn’t hesitate to re visit. 👏
Very spacious and private, lovely plants .

This was our third time at Le Paradis. We really like the campsite. We do not have children, so this year's stay was not probably the best planned. There were a lot of children at the campsite, most probably because of the summer holiday starting in the Netherlands.
The campsite was noisy this time. Some of the pitches need a little bit more shade but I know this is difficult to do anything about.
It was a large pitch.
No shade. It was chilly in the morning in our tent and we were baking from noon onwards. The neighbouring pitches took the only two water taps in the vicinity and permanently connected their pipes for their caravans so we had to disconnect them each time we needed water.
Dear M Krcal, thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. We are happy to read that you still enjoy the campsite. We’re sorry to learn that this year’s experience wasn’t quite as peaceful as your previous visits. Indeed, the start of the summer holidays brings many families with children, which can affect the usual tranquility. Regarding the lack of shade on your pitch, we acknowledge that some areas of the campsite are more exposed than others. We’re also sorry to hear about the inconvenience with the water taps. We kindly ask our guests to be considerate and avoid monopolizing shared facilities, and we will remind our team to monitor this more closely. We hope to welcome you back at Le Paradis. Pitches, roadways, bar, shop, pools, spa, toilets, showers - all top quality, spotless and flowery
So much space: why are shower cubicles so small? Not the site's fault, but so many people now bringing so much "stuff" that 90-120 sq metre pitch avenues now looking a bit packed-out. Big caravans, motor homes like small lorries, big awnings, extra canopies, separate gazebos, fridge, one or more "pup tents", storage tents, trailers, bikes, spare vehicles. Once spacious pitches looking and feeling a bit "cluttered"
Good pitch. Decent half-shade. Flat. Hedged. East access to water and electricity.
See general comment about "clutteredness" above
Dear Grapes family, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the facilities during your stay. You're absolutely right, our pitches are indeed spacious, ranging from 90 to 120 square metres. However, we understand that with the growing popularity of well-equipped camping setups, including large caravans, campervans, awnings, gazebos, storage tents, and various outdoor equipment, even generous pitches can sometimes feel a bit full. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to our campsite in the future. Team Le Paradis*****

Excellent restaurant and bar. Staff service is exceptional and all your staff should be very proud. Pool facilities are the best I've ever seen. General cleanliness is of a very high standard. Without a doubt, deserves 5 stars
Access to pitches with caravans is a challenge and quite honestly I wouldn't attempt it without a mover. Elsan access, I had to drag my toilet cassette a long way to empty and the water wasn't working. Not the campsites fault, but the insects biting are a problem, please warn guests about this as it would have benefited me knowing up front, my first day myself and my daughter were unprotected and suffered as a result.
We could not have our XXL pitch as work was still be done to new toilet block. Our chosen replacement was ok and contained our caravan ok. Water and waste provisions were good.
Pitch was was very uneven (Y7). Challenging to locate caravan Tree above pitch constantly dropped little acorns which were extremely loud hitting caravan and took constant maintenance to remove. Most other pitches didn't seem to have this problem.

This site is in a beautiful location - there are some pretty special pitches, but some were on the smaller size or corner plots open on both sides. The pool looked good, although we didn't use it, and there's a lovely bar area to sit in or out. Also a lovely playground for younger children. There are some lovely walks nearby. We've been before and it really was like paradise, so hopefully once improvements are made particularly regarding toilet blocks, and with the sun shining, it would be again.
It had rained heavily prior to and during our visit so understandably things looked a bit soggy, but if the roads on site were better, it wouldn't have felt so sad. Also, one of the toilet blocks was being rebuilt, meaning traffic and building noise from 8am. The bar was great but closed early at 7pm (maybe a bit later) - a real shame for campers and families needing somewhere to escape the rain. Given the weather it would have been nice to open it for longer. The remaining toilet block needs updating, and the emptying of many chemical toilets inside, next to the loo I used nearly made me sick
We were in a motorhome and wanted some privacy. The pitch we moved to was secluded and had a lovely view over the fields.
We changed pitch from the one we booked, because that one was on an outside corner and open on both sides, so didn't really have any privacy. Given that one of the toilet blocks was closed for rebuilding and we could hear the site noise, it would have been good to have been given a slightly reduced rate to compensate. We were only there for one night, but glad not to be staying longer, under the circumstances.

Immaculate campsite, fab pitches with plenty of shade, super facilities block and great for young kids with the different pools and splash area.
Nothing really, the pool water temp was a bit chilly one day but that could have been because it was a cooler day…
Clearly obvious where your pitch started and ended with shade when requested. Very happy with where we were.

Excellent pool and good sized pitch. Very clean and tidy site. Great facilities . Friendly and helpful staff.
More toilets (had to wait). Showers are rather small for a 5* site.
Large fully plumbed pitch with plenty of shade.
Not a lot of grass in the plot. I think it's going to be muddy after the rain today.
Dear Gingell Family, Thank you for your kind review. We’re pleased to hear that you enjoyed your pitch, our facilities, and the friendliness and helpfulness of our staff. We’re sorry to hear that the shower felt a bit small, and we appreciate your feedback on this point. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back soon for another stay at Camping Le Paradis! Again the feeling you get from staying at La Paradis is that you are part of the family. You are made to feel welcome and every single member of the team is helpful and friendly. We had issues this time with our motorhome breaking down when we got there and the staff went above and beyond to help us through a stressful time.
None
We were moved into a cottage when our motorhome was towed away for repair and the standard of the cottage was clean, excellent air con which was needed, and a lovely private decking area and garden.
