Always peaceful and lovely birdsong. Scenic walk to upper town. Delicious bread and clean facilities. Our second visit.

The campsite is run by Odile and Thomas. very fiendly and quick replies to any query we had. We can highly recommend this campsite. The campsite is abt 5-10 mins walking distance from st.nectaire where restaurants and shops are available. The larger supermarket Intermarche is 12 mins by car from the campsite in the next larger village. The area of St.Nectaire is heaven on earth for walkers. Nice, not too strenuous walks, are plentyful available straight from the campsite or within 10/15mins drive. However the Puy de Sancy area requires good boots and stamina but the views are magnificent

We stayed in one of the chalets. Actually, the same chalet as 4 years ago. Still, the chalet is in the same tiptop condition with no sign at all of any wear and tear. The chalet is well equipped with a kitchen incl. coffeemachine (senseo and normal filter) and kettle. Fridge/freezer and cooker with all necessary utensils. Sufficient plates, glasses and cutlery as well. Consumables, such as (tea)towels, bedlinnen are not around but we have taken with us ourselves. We have been on this campsite twice now, but sure will come back again in the near distant future.

We stayed a week in one of the campsites permanently installed mobile homes which is a great upgrade over a tent! The campsite sits beautifully on a slope above Saint Nectaire which is a lovely little town of less than 1000 people that still has all you need for a holiday i.e. a couple of restaurants, a supermarket and a bakery that are open 7 days a week and a couple of little shops. The campsite/town is a great starting point for hiking or cycling the Auvergne hills and volcanoes. Also, the famous cheese is great.
Nice and clean „mobile home“ which feels more like a hut with 2 tiny bedrooms, a kitchen/living room, toilet and bathroom with shower. Nice pitch to sit on in the evenings, quiet and shaded by trees. Ideal

Perfectly located near the city of Saint-Nectaire, Le Viginet offers beautiful starting points for hiking - and roadtrips. The green lawns and beautiful flora and fauna makes Le Viginet a wonderful place to spend the day to relax on the campsite,.
Limited services like small groceries upon arrival. A small restaurant or take-away would have been appreciated as well.
It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the large fridge and freezer. The kitchen was well-equiped. Above all, the location on the campsite and the view on the mountains were stunning.

Petit camping calme mais très bien équipé (snack, bar, piscines, jeux enfants), des sanitaires propres et une équipe charmante et efficace !

Avec un peu plus de végétation pour rendre plus privatif certains emplacements ça serait encore plus agréable.

Nous avons adoré l'accueil de toute l'équipe. Tout le monde a été de bons conseils quant aux visites et ballades à faire dans le coin, et toujours avec le sourire. Le camping est très calme et très propre. La piscine est très agréable.

Nous avons dû changer de chalet au bout de 2 jours car le premier à été envahi par les fourmis.

Camping très calme et verdoyant. Le chalet est parfait pour 4, un peu spartiate certes, mais on en attend pas davantage. La piscine est des plus agréables après une bonne journée de randonnée. Un petit plus pour les.pizzas qui sont franchement pas mal ! On reviendra !

Tout, la qualité des matériaux utilisé pour ce mobile home, on se sent à la maison, la grande terrasse abritée , il y a tout pour bien faire. C est absolument génial. Je vais revenir c est sûre !

Les horaires de la piscine, ouvrir plus tôt. Installer une horloge extérieure aux abords de la piscine. Ajouter 1 poubelle dans la salle d'eau des chalets.

Nous étions logé dans les cabanes Pavin. Très bien équipées, une très belle vue, un calme olympien. L'accueil est très agréable. Très bon séjour
