Always peaceful and lovely birdsong. Scenic walk to upper town. Delicious bread and clean facilities. Our second visit.

The campsite is run by Odile and Thomas. very fiendly and quick replies to any query we had. We can highly recommend this campsite. The campsite is abt 5-10 mins walking distance from st.nectaire where restaurants and shops are available. The larger supermarket Intermarche is 12 mins by car from the campsite in the next larger village. The area of St.Nectaire is heaven on earth for walkers. Nice, not too strenuous walks, are plentyful available straight from the campsite or within 10/15mins drive. However the Puy de Sancy area requires good boots and stamina but the views are magnificent

We stayed in one of the chalets. Actually, the same chalet as 4 years ago. Still, the chalet is in the same tiptop condition with no sign at all of any wear and tear. The chalet is well equipped with a kitchen incl. coffeemachine (senseo and normal filter) and kettle. Fridge/freezer and cooker with all necessary utensils. Sufficient plates, glasses and cutlery as well. Consumables, such as (tea)towels, bedlinnen are not around but we have taken with us ourselves. We have been on this campsite twice now, but sure will come back again in the near distant future.

We stayed a week in one of the campsites permanently installed mobile homes which is a great upgrade over a tent! The campsite sits beautifully on a slope above Saint Nectaire which is a lovely little town of less than 1000 people that still has all you need for a holiday i.e. a couple of restaurants, a supermarket and a bakery that are open 7 days a week and a couple of little shops. The campsite/town is a great starting point for hiking or cycling the Auvergne hills and volcanoes. Also, the famous cheese is great.
Nice and clean „mobile home“ which feels more like a hut with 2 tiny bedrooms, a kitchen/living room, toilet and bathroom with shower. Nice pitch to sit on in the evenings, quiet and shaded by trees. Ideal

Perfectly located near the city of Saint-Nectaire, Le Viginet offers beautiful starting points for hiking - and roadtrips. The green lawns and beautiful flora and fauna makes Le Viginet a wonderful place to spend the day to relax on the campsite,.
Limited services like small groceries upon arrival. A small restaurant or take-away would have been appreciated as well.
It was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the large fridge and freezer. The kitchen was well-equiped. Above all, the location on the campsite and the view on the mountains were stunning.

Très bon accueil. La gérante est à l'écoute et donne de très bons conseils. Camping très propre et emplacement spacieux.
Vu la météo que nous avons eu (bcp de pluie), dommage que l'emplacement voiture ne soit aménagé

Deux semaines dans un chalet confortable , grand , et très bien équipé au grand calme avec le chant des oiseaux et une très belle vue ! Idéalement situé pour de nombreuses randonnées ou visites tout est parfait L’accueil de la patronne est très convivial et très attentif à nos besoins éventuels et à la qualité de notre séjour ! Bref un grand merci et nous reviendrons l’année prochaine pour la troisième fois

L'espace entre chaque hébergement, la possibilité de promener les chiens sur des chemins proche du camping. Les chemins piétons qui mènent directement à Saint Nectaire le haut. La propreté des lieux et la qualité de l'accueil.

A cette saison, le camping est très calme. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour en mobile home. Avec 2 chiens il est très facile d'aller les promener en départ du camping sans prendre la voiture.
La météo qui cette année est capricieuse..
Très bien pour un séjour en septembre, nous qui avons l'habitude de partir juillet ou août en caravane.

Nous avons adorés ce camping qui représente l'âme du camping avec de nombreux emplacements de tente, ce qui aujourd'hui plutôt en voie de disparition. Nous avons logés en chalet( l'âge avancé apprécié le confort), et surpris de trouver un aspirateur, c'est rare. C'est vraiment un très joli camping. Je félicite la direction pour leur choix de garder l'âme de ce camping

1 lumière de plus dans la cuisine, celle au dessus de l'évier n'est pas suffisamment puissante. 1 grille pain pour le déjeuner du matin ( si possible)
