We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as Chateau de Lez-Eaux. We arrived before the check in time but was allowed to use the facilities from the moment we arrived! Our children really enjoyed the pool and between our large family of 18 there was something for everyone. The oldest child was 15 and youngest 4, yet they all had fun. We will definitely be returning in the future.
A tea towel would of been useful and personally we found a washing machine would of been more useful than a dishwasher in the lodges

One of the nicest sites I’ve ever stayed on, the accommodation (3 bedroom chalet) was clean and had everything we need. The site is gorgeous with lots to do, the children loved the animals and bouncy castle. The staff are all lovely and so welcoming. We really had a fantastic time and would recommend to everyone.
a bit more evening entertainment would have been nice but wasn’t the end of the world
It was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We loved having the covered outdoor decking area as it meant we could still sit outside to eat even in the rain!
We would have liked an oven in the accommodation but the plancha was great and we made do with what we had.

The plancha is indeed often appreciated for outdoor meals and can even be used when it’s raining, as you discovered for yourself. Loved the activities: bird walk, drumming, escape room, kids club. Loved the swimming, bouncy castles, play areas, animals and tennis court and relaxing outside the bar whilst children played.
Lots of storage so easy to keep tidy even with all the family, clean, all the utensils you need.

We've stayed here before and loved it. We loved it this time too but it was dampened by theft and a nighttime disturbance.
Strict vetting of people staying, monitoring how many are booked in v how many are actually there. Improved security.

I can't say anything negative about the pitch were were in except for the theft.

Such a shame there isn’t a proper restaurant on site - even very small sites have a restaurant with a menu with a decent selection you can order from. Poorly cooked pizzas and burgers here aren’t great.

We loved this campsite. Everything a family could need and everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. Pool is brilliant and the campsite feels safe to let the children go and be free with the friends they made. Lovely take away food, great bar and great escape room activity! We wanted to do more but were only here for a few days camping. We can’t wait to return 😇

Website states "All pitches are bordered by carefully managed vegetation" This is not true, our pitch along with many others was exposed on all four sides with no protection or privacy.

Loved the fact we had a private bathroom along with the gas cooking top, microwave and large fridge/freezer. Large pitch with plenty of choices how to pitch the tent. Liked that we had sunbeds and outdoor furniture. The outdoor pool is a big improvement on the previous outdoor pool. Our grandchildren loved it. From arrival to departure the staff were exceptionally friendly. Nothing to dislike, we had a really good holiday.
The outdoor table wasn't very good if moved to a different location the legs fell off. Better quality tables are required.

This is a really nice campsite. swimming pool is fantastic, warm & with the slides it’s fun for everyone. Animals add a nice touch. Staff were extremely polite. Access in & out is perfect as number plate recognition.
Showers need to be cleaned properly as in 2 weeks they never cleared the hair from the drains, centre showers also need the temp sorting due to not being able to regulate it. Pitches need more levelling for caravans.

Arrived on a packed weekend allocated a totally unsuitable pitch for a caravan sloping and undulating was told they were full after 4 hours of trying to pitch unsuccessfully another pitch on a slope next to a toilet block was offered and basically it was like it or lump it no refunds would be given . The site appeared to be full of itinerant campers. In a calmer moment the next day we could see that there are level pitches of a decent size so if you knew a specific pitch number you could get better. The only positive was that there were several staff in check in mist I of which were good

Under these circumstances, our options for reallocating pitches were limited, and we regret that the pitches offered did not meet your expectations. We would have liked to have been able to advise you differently at the time of your booking. You had indicated that you wanted a sunny pitch, which you were given, but we did not have the information regarding the pitch’s elevation. Your experience encourages us to seek solutions, and we will be looking into the possible improvements available to us. A very relaxing stay on a wonderful campsite. Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, excellent swimming pool, bar, children’s animations and evening entertainment.
Only one small gripe is that the freezer for freezing ice packs for cool bags/travelling etc is too small. We have our own fridge however for keeping food cool for day trips and the like is difficult when the freezer supplied onsite is one small ice box. Reception were able to assist by allowing us to use their freezer however a larger freezer compartment would be very welcome.
