Our third visit to Domaine du Trappeur and third type of accommodation. All have been excellent, original, clean and homely. Fantastic home made food, stunning views and a real “countryside” feel. Exceptional host, really welcoming, would definitely recommend.
Can you do anything about the fog? 😁

Our family of five had a wonderful stay in the yurt. The staff were extremely welcoming and the facilities were well looked after. It was extremely hot, so a walk through the trees to swim in the lake was welcome.
There was an issue with our shower but it was fixed the same day.
Traditional and beautifully decorated. Beds comfortable and opening and closing the roof became a favourite for the kids!

Flies are a real pest. A ball pit for pre-schoolers would be good rather than the present arrangement.

Heel vriendelijke mensen spreken verschillende talen waaronder Nederlands want het voor ons heel aangenaam maakte. Zeer mooie omgeving veel groen, leuke wandelpaden die starten op de camping. Zeer propere sanitaire blok en veel camping pitches. Het eten was ook echt top!
Voor ons was het niet heel duidelijk waar we ons moesten inchecken en waar alle faciliteiten waren. Waar drinkbaar water of waar chemisch toilet leegmaken. Is wel aangeduid maar hier hebben we overgekeken. Misschien handig te vermelden bij aankomst.

This was the second time that we stayed at Domaine du Trappeur campsite. Everything about this place is great. The owners, Celine & Gijs and all their staff are so friendly and helpful and always make us feel very welcome. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere across the entire site. All the facilities are of a very high standard and managed brilliantly. St Sorlin d'Arves is a great place with easy access to the surrounding mountain area.It has lovely restaurants, shops & a swimming lake, all easily accessible from the camping site. Myself and my children love this place

All the tent pitches are fantastic. Each one is a good size and level and with amazing views out across the mountains

The food and location are excellent
The showers and toilet block were locked throughout our stay. We were in a room with no toilet or shower facilities so this was not good. We did mention it but were told that we just needed to shove the door as it sticks. No, they were definitely locked. A quick check and the staff would have realised they were locked and that would have taken them less than a minute to totally change our experience.
The bed was comfy
Didn’t know it was two single beds, we would have ordered two sets of bedding if we had. As it was we made do with one set rather than inconvenience anyone.

Have cycled past this site many times and never give it a thought about staying so close to the top of the climb. But this time I returned to mob the area, best decision made.
TBH I can't think of anything, it was perfect for me.
Stayed in a tent and my pitch N0 1 was flat.
Small tree which was riddled with ants.

De ligging van de camping is geweldig, en een prachtig uitzicht. En ook de eigenaren en het personeel zijn aardig en gastvrij. Het restaurant op de camping is heerlijk, zeker in een periode dat de rest van de horeca in het dorp, vanwege het tussenseizoen, grotendeels gesloten is. Er zijn mooie kampeerplekken en veel keuze uit huuraccommodaties. Voor elk wat wils.
Een wens is een kampeerplaats met privé sanitair.
Een geweldig terras met uitzicht over het hele dal.
De slaapkamer is krap, de badkamer rook niet fris. We denken dat dit ligt aan het slecht functioneren van het waterslot van de wastafels. De gebruiksvoorwerpen (pannen, glazen en spatels, etc.) waren eigenlijk net niet aan de maat. Het zitmeubilair mag een update krijgen.

Wij mochten een week genieten van de fijne camping middenin de natuur. Het uitzicht is prachtig, de eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en gastvrij.

We hadden een chalet met een adembenemend uitzicht over het dal.
Chalet is geschikt voor 6 personen , wij waren er met 3 personen. De ruimte is te beperkt voor 6 personen

je suis venu dans l'intention de camper au départ mais vu les températures la nuit j'ai préféré la hutte Marmotte ….pour essayer ce logement aussi !
