This was the second time that we stayed at Domaine du Trappeur campsite. Everything about this place is great. The owners, Celine & Gijs and all their staff are so friendly and helpful and always make us feel very welcome. There is a lovely friendly atmosphere across the entire site. All the facilities are of a very high standard and managed brilliantly. St Sorlin d'Arves is a great place with easy access to the surrounding mountain area.It has lovely restaurants, shops & a swimming lake, all easily accessible from the camping site. Myself and my children love this place
There is nothing to improve - its all brilliant !
All the tent pitches are fantastic. Each one is a good size and level and with amazing views out across the mountains

The food and location are excellent
The showers and toilet block were locked throughout our stay. We were in a room with no toilet or shower facilities so this was not good. We did mention it but were told that we just needed to shove the door as it sticks. No, they were definitely locked. A quick check and the staff would have realised they were locked and that would have taken them less than a minute to totally change our experience.
The bed was comfy
Didn’t know it was two single beds, we would have ordered two sets of bedding if we had. As it was we made do with one set rather than inconvenience anyone.

Have cycled past this site many times and never give it a thought about staying so close to the top of the climb. But this time I returned to mob the area, best decision made.
TBH I can't think of anything, it was perfect for me.
Stayed in a tent and my pitch N0 1 was flat.
Small tree which was riddled with ants.

The views are gorgeous. The owners are delightful, caring and friendly- and clearly passionate about their business- and made a point of welcoming us. Facilities very clean.

The views are gorgeous. The owners are delightful, caring and friendly- and clearly passionate about their business.
The pitch was truly big enough- and so this is only a tiny comment- a little less space than other sites. We felt our presence obstructed our neighbours view a little- but truthfully- not a huge deal.

New owners that are fantastic and can’t do enough for you, this is a great site with a lovely bar and restaurant with astounding views.

Very friendly family welcome to their small restaurant and campsite. Incredible views and secluded spot meant a true mountain feel - while the washrooms and showers were brand new and immaculate!

Flat, and perfectly situated. All pitches have the same stunning view as the sites are benched into the mountainside - gorgeous

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal auf dem CP, Hier stimmt einfach alles. Die Lage ist ein Traum, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Besitzer. Einfach traumhaft schön.

Ce camping était merveilleux, très bien situé, dans une ambiance chalet/montage incroyable. Vue splendide. Emplacement van plat avec un peu d'ombre, c'était parfait ! Sanitaires vraiment très propres.

De eerste nachten was het geluid van de naastgelegen waterval wat wennen. En gezien de weinig schaduw en weinig wind toch erg warm tijdens 26graden.

Fantastische uitvalsbasis vanop een camping die alles heeft wat je nodig hebt en bovendien een geweldig uitzicht.
Wij zouden wel een wasruimte met alleen een lavabo fijn vinden.
