Nice camping, good mood

The places next to the road are way to noisy. A very busy road next to an car-free camping is a contradictio

The safari tent was well equipped and spacious. A lovely setting. Good space around and we were next to our friends. We loved the access to the river and the bar area. Food trucks were quite expensive for the portion sizes. We will definitely come back to the safari tents.

Lights on tennis court, chickens did smell a bit. Trolleys passing the tent from early morning. The freezer was not large enough and needed defrosting. It was so hot, maybe an industrial ice machine in the shared kitchen would be a good addition. Deckchairs within the safari tent for something softer to sit on. Communal kitchen had old food hanging around for over a week until we threw it away. Food in fridges and freezers should have name and date on. We hebben een hele fijne week gehad. De camping is super verzorgd, met stijl en aandacht. Leuke bar bij de receptie voor een drankje/ijsje en elke avond de mogelijkheid om iets te eten d.v.m. verschillende foodtrucks. Camping is kleinschalig, geen entertaiment (gelukkig), maar heeft wel een lekker zwembad en toegang tot de rivier! Zeker een aanrader!

Location is nice, directly next to the Dordogne river. Vanessa (employee at the bar/reception) really is doing a very nice job to make everyones stay a pleasure

The campsite (The terrain, swimmingppool, basketbal-field) really needs maintenance. The policy that cars aren't welcome on the campsite is not working out nicely. The carts that can be used to bring luggage to the tents are making a lot of noice which is very uncomfortable for the other guests. Why not allow people to unload there car by arriving? We're suprised that this campsite is rated with 4 stars, that is not what we've experienced.

Een gezellige kleinschalige camping aan een prachtige rivier de dordogne.

Er zijn weinig toiletten, douches en afwasplekken waardoor je regelmatig moet wachten. De toiletten zijn niet altijd schoon. De karretjes die gebruikt kunnen worden voor het vervoeren van spullen maken enorm veel herrie. Je verwacht juist bin een autovrije camping dat het er rustig is, dan helpen zulke karretjes niet.

Great nature tents and safari huts. Lovely facilities and close to the river for activities. Will come again.

Very relaxed and professionally run site with many different camping choices. Eco aspect was very well embedded in the running of the site.

Very warm welcome, beautiful, shade everywhere under the walnut trees, very clean bathrooms, everything works, cosy and relaxed atmosphere, lots of wildlife around, quiet, nice people, nice swimming pool, very helpful staff, loved the community-kitchen and the sharing-fridge. Definitely 5 stars +!

Don’t do too much promo because it will get to crowded (; Ok maybe one: maybe get small carts that are less noisy, because we woke up the whole camping ground when we left in the morning.... (Sorry)

We loved the chilled vibe on the campsite. Also the fact it is all about old fashioned camping like; A lot of tents Campfires Fishing Childeren playing outside instead of playing on a tablet

The shower area is very nice. It would be great to see the same style / improvements for the swimmingpool.

We stayed in a gite which we loved - I was impressed at how cool they stayed even when the weather was 35 degrees. The river is idyllic, the pools refreshing and the area really interesting to explore

What a super idyllic campsite and surrounding! Lovely terrace, winebar and food and very nice hosting from the wonderful girls and Nanda the cook. But the most outstanding was the river with its beautiful nature..

We hadden een ruime kampeerplaats. De ondergrond was vlak en dat is fijn met een tent. Alle faciliteiten zijn vlakbij en de camping is overzichtelijk. Ontbijtservice is een pluspunt

De verf in zwembad liet los. Onze baby stopte dit in haar mond. Tijdens ons hele verblijf lag er een lamp op de kant. Vreemd, want dit is gevaarlijk. Er zaten ook heel veel wespen bij het zwembad waar geen zichtbare maatregelen voor werden getroffen. Voor het formaat camping was het sanitairgebouw te klein. Dat de helft van het gebouw middenin de ochtendspits (8.30 tot 10.00) werd afgesloten voor een grote schoonmaak is niet handig.

Nice atmosphere with enough space for everyone. Always a plus if a campsite is free of cars. Showers and toilets are kept really clean. The direct access to the river is a big plus. Same goes for the convenience store in the village at approx. 800m. (Spar), which has all items you might require including a broad assortment of bread in the morning (if you don't want to use the bread service on the camp site)

Cleaning of showers is done several times a day, during which half of the facility is closed off. Especially during peak times this can cause lines. The play ground is very hot (no shade) with a full artificial grass ground cover and there is no sand box. This results in hardly any small children playing in it (a shame, as there are plenty small children on the camp site)

Wij genoten van ons verblijf in de safarilodge. Perfect gelegen aan het zwembad en het speeltuintje waardoor we onze kleine kinderen steeds in het zicht hadden. Het personeel is super vriendelijk, de camping heel mooi onderhouden met proper en ruim sanitair. De bar vooraan is een fijn plekje met heerlijke ijsjes. De paella-avond vonden wij ook super, gezellig én heel lekker.

We missen op de hete dagen parasols aant het zwembad.

Well laid out site. Loved being right by the river in the shade. Lovely pool. Showers clean, plenty of hot water. Great ice cream and lovely location in general.

The only thing is more toilets and showers needed for numbers of visitors. At the very least to repair the out of order toilet - we were there for 8 days which seemed long for a toilet to be closed.

Love everything about this campsite, the wine bar, the ambience and the hosts.

Adjust facilities cleaning times to avoid peak usage and less basins and more showers/ toilets.

Emplacement géographique intéressant

Prix élevé... et dommage que la route soit si proche et la Dordogne si "éloignée" de quasi toutes les parcelles ; surtout pour les camping car et caravanes ; mais difficilement
