The campsite has many facilities even though we weren't able to fully utilise them during our stay. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean, and there are some lovely walks through the trees and around the lake. It is close to many of the Loire's attractions and we were able to visit both Futuroscope and a Chateau during our stay. The food in the restaurant was nice.
Our stay was spoilt by having camping equipment stolen from our pitch whilst we were out shopping, which has never happened to us previously over many camping trips to France. It was also surprising given how quiet the campsite was. Whilst this is not a direct reflection on the campsite itself, it may give an indication of the type of people who frequent it.
Our pitch was spacious, level and not muddy despite the rain during our stay. The individual toilet block was nice, along with the BBQ and water services available directly on the pitch. We also had the benefit of a Wifi extender on the pich which I'm unsure is a feature of the pitch or we were just lucky
The individual toilet block, whilst useful is poorly designed and in need of updating. The shower caused the entire floor to be drenched and the wooden decking outside was broken and tremendously slippery in the wet.

Lots to do, nice location, great shop. Staff worked hard and easy to communicate with. Great for families. Little bit out of the way for a short trip into town, but easy roads and local shops etc.
Restaurant couldn't cope with large groups of people, takeaway was shut. Toilet blocks nearby to pitches closed, others were broken/showers cold etc. Early season visit not recommended as lots of campsite issues not been fixed prior to opening. Take a long time to refund a deposit. Everything comes with an unnecessary charge - get charged to park near chalet/pitch additional cost!
Came with everything needed. Simple, but everything worked. Great location on the site away form the noisy parts. Lots of space around them for children to play safely.
Beds were not the best, and blankets/pillows (at extra cost of course) were thin. Electric was an extension lead which made lighting tricky in the sleeping areas (not a big issue). Nearby toilet block closed - not helpful for young children.

Pour cette raison, en cas de forte affluence, il est possible de rencontrer certains désagréments. Nous mettons tout en œuvre pour que l'ensemble de nos infrastructures soit opérationnel dès l'ouverture et nous regrettons que votre visite en début de saison ait été impactée par ces ajustements. Good location, good ameneties, well stocked shop, excellent shower block which was very clean. Lovely walk around the lake, fun mini golf and boules.
Takeaway Pizza was not yet open, it was a shame the restaurant couldn't provide this. The showers were very variable in temperature. The indoor pool could be opened earlier just for lane swimmers.

The noise from the entertainment was intrusive

We went as part of a large classic car group. Our group organiser liaised with Christine the owner of the Parc and everything went very well. We had large gatherings each evening and were able to put a large tent up to accomodate us all for each event. One evening we had a quiz night which we were allowed to hold on the large verandah outside the restaurant. Another evening we had a pre arranged meal for over 100 of us organised by the restaurant staff. The meal was delicious and the staff so friendly and professional.
We had everything we needed in our chalet. Dishwasher and air con were much appreciated. We were next to the tree houses on the edge of the woods and it was beautifully quiet.

It was OK, but disappointing that they could not offer a function room for our Club's events
It seemed a bit mean for there to be no kettle or scissors in this class of accommodation. Given the quality of the barbeque (which came with no tools), its daily hire charge seemed excessive. The opening hours of reception, shop etc were not customer friendly.

The park was very tidy and all the staff helpful.
The waste recycling area near the gate was confusing about what went where. Maybe try to allocate areas for each type of waste and clearly signpost them. There was a lot of mixing of types of waste.
There were only 2 of us. The living area would have been big enough for 2 adults plus a few children. It was all very clean and tidy when we arrived.
The double bedroom was very tight around the bed. A standard size double bed would have been better than the bigger one which was there. The TV having to be rebooted regularly was annoying.

Most of the staff were friendly, nice layout of the site and plenty of facilities. Well stocked shop. When the bar was open (only weekends) it was very pleasant.
Lots of things needed attention. Dangerous handrails near lake/pool. Insecure doors on mobile home, broken blind, broken door catch, nettles on entry, Restaurant understaffed for a large group. Food wasn't good. The staff that were working were brilliant, doing their best.

Had a 6 person, 1 bathroom mobile home which was supposed to be the same value, overall maybe, but not in cost per person. Lots of minor faults, reported so as not to be charged, but none fixed during our stay. Offered a discount but nothing received.

We stayed for a week as part of a much larger group and were impressed by the site. The staff were very friendly, polite and always available. The location was lovely, being by the lake was a bonus and being able to walk around it was nice. The outdoor pool area was clean, modern and easy to access from all the types of accommodation. The indoor pool was small but clean and a real bonus when the weather was cooler. We enjoyed mini golf and the on-site shop had an excellent range of produce at reasonable prices. We loved our daily croissant from the shop for breakfast -delicious!
The only thing to improve would be when we arrived we were given our keys and found the static home hadn’t been cleaned - it had the previous occupants’ rubbish and bedding in, plus it was visibly dirty. We had arrived a couple of hours early and would happily have waited in the bar until 4pm if they had asked. We think the man who checked us in didn’t realise. Once reported, the staff quickly came to clean it so the problem was promptly resolved.

There was nothing I did not like.
Despite notices about open fires and the dry weather experienced lately there were families with open fires. Security needs to be stepped up.

Restaurant, food, staff all excellent. Pool large with a waterside that keeps the children busy. Accommodation simple but served our needs for a week.
All fully furnished with necessary equipment, bed comfortable.

The site was tired. Shop lacked stock because presumably it was end of season (but then why charge full price for the stay?). Bar area rarely cleaned. Lakeside - rarely cleaned - litter and dog foul left. Restaurant food was very poor and very over priced and lack of choice. Overall - too expensive and will not return as a result. We could get a very nice gite for a lot less!

Lots of things to do and in a great setting. Restaurant was good. Pool was really nice.
Toilet block sinks area was in need of renovation. Crazy golf neglected and needs sweeping and some repairs.

Thank you for your feedback, we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. As far as the sanitary facilities are concerned, you probably used a sanitary block that we decided to renovate to increase the sanitary capacity of the camping pitches. It had not yet been completed in the summer of 2024, but we decided to open it nonetheless for the comfort of our campers. It's true that there's still room for improvement... Sorry about that.

We had unpleasant visit of a rat during our stay in tent! Stay in the nature is of course a pleasure but in years of camping never happened to us and it’s unacceptable.
We're very sorry to hear your comments about our park. We have invested heavily in regular cleaning of the sanitary facilities and maintenance of the green areas. We are very committed to ensuring that our guests have a pleasant stay, and we regret that this was not the case for you. As for the visit of a rat, you write "unacceptable" ... do you mean that we should exterminate all the little inhabitants of the forest? We're sorry you had such a bad experience. Our policy is to keep the rubbish disposal areas away from the pitches and grassland, precisely to avoid such unpleasant encounters. Beyond that, to be very clear, our mindset is not to eliminate everything that is unpleasant. We're proud of our Park's biodiversity, and there can be no biodiversity - no deer, birds or hares - without mice, frogs, field mice, rats, spiders or foxes. Your opinion invites us to explore ways of keeping the undesirables away, rather than imagining eliminating this or that animal at the risk of affecting them all. We understand that this may not suit everyone, but we're absolutely committed to this philosophy. We wish you all the best for the future.
