Spacious and peaceful site with a pretty lake and a swimming pool. Pitches are large and various shade levels available.
On arrival we were told to pitch anywhere but had no map to see where our pitch-types were located. Reception was supposed to be open on the Sunday we arrived but after our initial contact did not see any staff for help. The bar, restaurant, main toilet blocks and dish washing facilities were either closed or locked. We had no code to enter or leave the site so after our planned one night stay left by the entrance on which the barrier was left open for the duration of our stay.
Good sized pitch. Electricity worked but...
The electric connection was very stiff and mounting post loose in the ground. The safety label indicating maximum permitted current was illegible so kept our limit to 10A just in case. Water points were widely scattered and in various states of usefulness with missing parts and stuck taps etc.

We had a fantastic stay at camping deffay, check in was supper easy with receptionists speaking perfect English self allocation pitched was also good as we had plenty of choice on this large site
Was great to have staff all speak English and have English signage around the site assist non French speaking residents. The (restaurant) was the biggest let Down of the campsite as it lacked any comfort and felt abit unloved Menu was in French only (making it hard for non French speaking persons to see what was on offer) We managed to order steak and chips for us adults and nuggets and chips for the children When we received our child sized steak and chips we was informed there was no nuggets left for the children so we had to order them a pizza and wait for it again
Pitch was great and utility block was fine with warm showers and clean toilets
General maimtinace of the site is lacking but could easily be brought upto standard with a bit of love put back into it

Unfortunately very little to like. Booked for 4 nights, stayed only 1
Showers, 1st no shower head, 2nd no lock on door, 3rd cold water. No food available restaurant, takeaway, food vans, and bar all closed. Very few on site so assume word has got round. Would not book again, very disappointing.

Pitches very uneven, electrics poor connections would be deemed unsafe in UK. Water taps were corroded tried 6 to find 1 could connect too. Drainage points were open pipe with selection of pieces to make own solution. Very few on site so assume word has got round. Would not book again, very disappointing.

Spacious pitch with electricity and water, overlooking the very pretty lake. We were entertained in the evening by the site owners small boy who was very cute and amusing!
It wasn't easy to work out when reception would be open!

l'état de l'hébergement et le rapport qualité prix complètement inadapaté par rapport à d'autres chatets très bien occupés par des amis pendant mon séjour
rien de particulier à part la situation géographique du lieu.
Chalet mal entretenu, sol en lino déchiré à certains endroits, ménage pas fait, saletés au sol, poussière, toile d'araignée, toilette pas propore, flexible de douche cassé, literie très mauvaise, un taudis et un prix exagéré pour la prestation. Je ne conseillerai pas cette destination.

No shop, bar closes at 9.00 pm, swimming pool cold, rip-off bbq €13.50 for dry burnt sausage same with very small lamb chop one spoon pasta and one spoon lentils. Sight very dusty reception rubbish bar and restaurant only open certain days and close at 9.00pm in peak season. Only small black catfish in lake. Part of site littered with building rubbish. Cannot recommend if you have children as there's nothing for them to do except two very small bouncy castles. Will not be returning, sorry Cannot recommend.

No grass large holes all over, electric not working had to use ajoining pitch also reverse polarity waste pipe half covered had to dig out myself very dusty most pitches not level some extremely so. Brochure pictures can't be realide on, sorry can't recommend.

Had read reviews and wasn't sure what to expect. We had a lovely welcome by the owner. The site is very well looked after. The lawned areas are mowed regularly and the grass cuttings collected. The plants are all trimmed and neat. Pitches are a good size. The swimming pool is clean and heated to 25 degrees. Its very quiet and peaceful. It is well placed for exploring alot of lovely pretty villages in the area. I think once these owners have been here longer things will only get better.
The roads around the site have quite a few potholes which fill up with water when it rains. The facilities although dated are clean. I would suggest that the entrance to these are slabbed as because its gravel even though they are mopped grit off peoples shoes are transferred.

La conception idéale de ce mobile home , plans très astucieux 3 chambres 2 salles d’eau avec douches spacieuses et WC, espaces cuisine salon parfait.

Poussières et araignées à l'arrivée. Passons ! Pas de rideau sur la tringle de la double porte d'entrée, pas d’électricité dans l'espace SDB, 1 seul feu de la gazinière avec allumage électronique, portes coulissantes qui ne coulissent pas, des jardinières bordant la terrasse remplies de plaques d'isorel mais bien sûr ni terreau ni fleurs. Bref alors que l'hiver devrait être employé à préparer la saison qui vient, rien n'est fait pour le bon accueil de celui qui paye plus de 200€ la nuitée (un prix d'hôtel 3*). Ce n'était quand même pas difficile de préparer notre mobil'home payé en avril.

Le camping était agréable et paisible avec beaucoup d’ombre. Les gens de la réception étaient agréable et serviables. Les installations avaient l'air bien, mais il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude dans les sanitaires, à moins d'utiliser les espaces handicapés. Personne ne l’a pas signalé et il n'y avait aucune affiche visible. Le lendemain, à l'ouverture de la réception, la gérante nous a indiqué qu'il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude jusqu'au 1er juillet, sauf dans les espaces handicapés. Elle nous a remboursé 10 euros. Nous ne reviendrons pas et ne recommanderons pas ce camping.
S'il n'y a que de l'eau chaude dans les installations pour handicapés, le prix du camping devrait être considérablement réduit. Les annonces du camping doivent indiquer clairement qu'il n'y aura pas d'eau chaude jusqu'au 1er juillet, sauf dans les espaces handicapés. Les gens doivent être informés de cette situation à leur arrivée et des avis clairs doivent être affichés aux sanitaires.
L’emplacement était herbeux, bon et agréable, un peu incliné mais quand même, ok. Il y avait beaucoup d'ombre mais aussi des zones ensoleillées, si on le souhaitait. Le poste de connexion électrique était très pratique
