Lovely site, no complaints about it. My biggest problem was there was no one at reception on the Sunday we arrived. It took over an hour, and only with the help of a good Samaritan who managed to contact the owner on our behalf were we able to gain access to the camper site. We had paid in full prior to arrival. We had received an email on the previous Friday which was to have a code for access, but they never inserted the code. The lack of communication to emails and phone was most unsatisfactory and stressful.

Landscaping, large pitches nicely shaded.
Wash block very poorly maintained. Only 3 gents toilet cubicles. One had door lick broken. One had paper dispenser unusable. Not very clean. Shower drains were blocked leaving about 2 cm of dirty water flooding the cubicles. Went to est on the Friday night but told only food was moules frites

Nice big pitch right next to the lake. Opening times of restaurant differed from website to real life but BBQ night was good. Nice wine. Pleasant staff.
Shower block very dated, men’s toilets there was only one cubicle with both a lock and a toilet seat.

Spacious and peaceful site with a pretty lake and a swimming pool. Pitches are large and various shade levels available.
On arrival we were told to pitch anywhere but had no map to see where our pitch-types were located. Reception was supposed to be open on the Sunday we arrived but after our initial contact did not see any staff for help. The bar, restaurant, main toilet blocks and dish washing facilities were either closed or locked. We had no code to enter or leave the site so after our planned one night stay left by the entrance on which the barrier was left open for the duration of our stay.
Good sized pitch. Electricity worked but...
The electric connection was very stiff and mounting post loose in the ground. The safety label indicating maximum permitted current was illegible so kept our limit to 10A just in case. Water points were widely scattered and in various states of usefulness with missing parts and stuck taps etc.

We had a fantastic stay at camping deffay, check in was supper easy with receptionists speaking perfect English self allocation pitched was also good as we had plenty of choice on this large site
Was great to have staff all speak English and have English signage around the site assist non French speaking residents. The (restaurant) was the biggest let Down of the campsite as it lacked any comfort and felt abit unloved Menu was in French only (making it hard for non French speaking persons to see what was on offer) We managed to order steak and chips for us adults and nuggets and chips for the children When we received our child sized steak and chips we was informed there was no nuggets left for the children so we had to order them a pizza and wait for it again
Pitch was great and utility block was fine with warm showers and clean toilets
General maimtinace of the site is lacking but could easily be brought upto standard with a bit of love put back into it

Showers, 1st no shower head, 2nd no lock on door, 3rd cold water. No food available restaurant, takeaway, food vans, and bar all closed. Very few on site so assume word has got round. Would not book again, very disappointing.

Pitches very uneven, electrics poor connections would be deemed unsafe in UK. Water taps were corroded tried 6 to find 1 could connect too. Drainage points were open pipe with selection of pieces to make own solution. Very few on site so assume word has got round. Would not book again, very disappointing.

Spacious pitch with electricity and water, overlooking the very pretty lake. We were entertained in the evening by the site owners small boy who was very cute and amusing!
It wasn't easy to work out when reception would be open!

l'état de l'hébergement et le rapport qualité prix complètement inadapaté par rapport à d'autres chatets très bien occupés par des amis pendant mon séjour
rien de particulier à part la situation géographique du lieu.
Chalet mal entretenu, sol en lino déchiré à certains endroits, ménage pas fait, saletés au sol, poussière, toile d'araignée, toilette pas propore, flexible de douche cassé, literie très mauvaise, un taudis et un prix exagéré pour la prestation. Je ne conseillerai pas cette destination.

No shop, bar closes at 9.00 pm, swimming pool cold, rip-off bbq €13.50 for dry burnt sausage same with very small lamb chop one spoon pasta and one spoon lentils. Sight very dusty reception rubbish bar and restaurant only open certain days and close at 9.00pm in peak season. Only small black catfish in lake. Part of site littered with building rubbish. Cannot recommend if you have children as there's nothing for them to do except two very small bouncy castles. Will not be returning, sorry Cannot recommend.

No grass large holes all over, electric not working had to use ajoining pitch also reverse polarity waste pipe half covered had to dig out myself very dusty most pitches not level some extremely so. Brochure pictures can't be realide on, sorry can't recommend.
