Lovely site, no complaints about it. My biggest problem was there was no one at reception on the Sunday we arrived. It took over an hour, and only with the help of a good Samaritan who managed to contact the owner on our behalf were we able to gain access to the camper site. We had paid in full prior to arrival. We had received an email on the previous Friday which was to have a code for access, but they never inserted the code. The lack of communication to emails and phone was most unsatisfactory and stressful.

Wash block very poorly maintained. Only 3 gents toilet cubicles. One had door lick broken. One had paper dispenser unusable. Not very clean. Shower drains were blocked leaving about 2 cm of dirty water flooding the cubicles. Went to est on the Friday night but told only food was moules frites

Nice big pitch right next to the lake. Opening times of restaurant differed from website to real life but BBQ night was good. Nice wine. Pleasant staff.
Shower block very dated, men’s toilets there was only one cubicle with both a lock and a toilet seat.

Spacious and peaceful site with a pretty lake and a swimming pool. Pitches are large and various shade levels available.
On arrival we were told to pitch anywhere but had no map to see where our pitch-types were located. Reception was supposed to be open on the Sunday we arrived but after our initial contact did not see any staff for help. The bar, restaurant, main toilet blocks and dish washing facilities were either closed or locked. We had no code to enter or leave the site so after our planned one night stay left by the entrance on which the barrier was left open for the duration of our stay.
Good sized pitch. Electricity worked but...
The electric connection was very stiff and mounting post loose in the ground. The safety label indicating maximum permitted current was illegible so kept our limit to 10A just in case. Water points were widely scattered and in various states of usefulness with missing parts and stuck taps etc.

We had a fantastic stay at camping deffay, check in was supper easy with receptionists speaking perfect English self allocation pitched was also good as we had plenty of choice on this large site
Was great to have staff all speak English and have English signage around the site assist non French speaking residents. The (restaurant) was the biggest let Down of the campsite as it lacked any comfort and felt abit unloved Menu was in French only (making it hard for non French speaking persons to see what was on offer) We managed to order steak and chips for us adults and nuggets and chips for the children When we received our child sized steak and chips we was informed there was no nuggets left for the children so we had to order them a pizza and wait for it again
Pitch was great and utility block was fine with warm showers and clean toilets
General maimtinace of the site is lacking but could easily be brought upto standard with a bit of love put back into it

Showers, 1st no shower head, 2nd no lock on door, 3rd cold water. No food available restaurant, takeaway, food vans, and bar all closed. Very few on site so assume word has got round. Would not book again, very disappointing.

Pitches very uneven, electrics poor connections would be deemed unsafe in UK. Water taps were corroded tried 6 to find 1 could connect too. Drainage points were open pipe with selection of pieces to make own solution. Very few on site so assume word has got round. Would not book again, very disappointing.

J'ai aimé la beauté du site et le calme en cette saison.
Mobil home suffisamment grand pour 4 personnes. Un plus, la terrasse au bord du lac quand il fait beau.

Heel mooi gelegen camping. Zeer ruime plekken. Alles was nog niet volledig klaar voor het seizoen. Niet alles open en schoon.
Hier en daar douches en toiletten repareren.

Accueil très agréable. Sanitaire propre. Nous étions à un mariage au château juste à coté. Très pratique car possibilité d'y aller à pied. Cadre très agréable.

Un camping au calme, très agréable et très bien entretenue Et pour les pêcheurs de brochet c’est vraiment plaisant, avec un petit étang de 2 ha et avec une belle population de brochet à pêcher
Pour ma part, ça a été un chalet qui a une vingtaine d’années, un petit goût du jour avec un matelas plus confortable et des portes au lieu d’un rideau de douche aurait été bien mieux.

Concernant les chalet c’est honteux à vous de les louer cela aussi cher. Concernant les employé un manque de respect quand nous disons que le chalet était sale et à un prix élevé. Je ne conseil pas du tout !! A fuir !!! Il profite de nous pour les cérémonie de mariage

chalet tres bien pour 2 nuits mais vetuste et manque de proprete ex:quant vous tirez la chasse d eau l eau remonte dans la douche beaucoup de poussiere et toile d araignes tres chere pour la prestation

Publicité mensongère sur la piscine, n'est pas couverte ni chauffée. L'accueil téléphonique n'est pas toujours agréable, profite des invités aux mariages pour avoir des prix un élevés !! Forfait ménage élevé aussi pour un chalet 4 places 60€!!!!!

Madame L'équipe du deffay est désolée que vos 2 nuits pour un mariage n'as pas été a la hauteur de vos exigences, effectivement suite à la tempête notre piscine n est plus couverte ce qui laisse une large plage pour faire bronzette mais elle est toujours chauffée avec une eau a 28° du 15/04 au 15/09 vos 2 nuits pour un mariage étant sur la mi octobre effectivement la piscine est fermé et en aurait été de même couverte. Concernant l’accueil téléphonique je suis navrée de lire ce commentaire, et m en excuse si vous avez ressentit ce désagrément. Nous ne profitons aucunement des clients mariage, nous sommes un camping 3 étoiles et appliquons nos prix à l'équitable pour tous les vacanciers et clients mariages. Concernant le ménage le forfait a ce jour est a 90€ et applicable sur tous les mobiles home et chalets cela s 'appel un forfait que vous n'avez d'ailleurs pas pris, nous ne sommes pas un hôtel ou une femme de ménage passe chaque jour pour faire votre lit et poussière, nous sommes un camping et c'est a vous d'entretenir le lieu et de le rendre propre.... ce qui n’était pas le cas!!!
