Huge pitches and plenty with tree cover. Lovely pool and a nice restaurant and bar adjacent

Toilets lacked soap and whilst we were able to get bread from the chef there was no mention at the reception. Bread and croissants in the morning would have been nice as the nearest Boulangerie was a distance away.

Lovely quiet site with good facilities. Fantastic restaurant and bar. We had two very nice lunches and would return again if only for that. Great walled dog run was appreciated by the dogs.

Some updating of toilets and showers would help but not an issue. A lack of a bread delivery was a shame but it was in low season.

Good size pitches, lo ely lake views, good sanitary facilities, lovely pool and good restaurant/bar. Very quiet and relaxing

We were then in 40 degrer plus heat. More sun shades/parasols at the lovely pool please, even if some have to be replaced each year!I Please sell ice creams at reception and bar!. Provide more light in the washing -up area that is open.

Beautiful setting on an idyllic lake. Easily accessible by road A mixture of touring pitches, lodges and chalets. Facilities spacious, generally clean and functional but extremely dated in relation to campsite fee. Some areas of site quite scruffy.

Toilet and shower blocks badly need updating. Plenty of showers, sinks, and washing up sinks but no where near enough toilets if site were full. Improve water temp in showers. Need more hooks in showers A large party of teenagers were there for two of the nights of our stay. They used the facilities en mass and left a huge mess. They should have been restricted to one of the shower blocks and the facilities checked more regularly for the comfort of other guests. Information leaflets re site and facilities would be beneficial on arrival.

A very nice location, by the water, with greenery everywhere. A swimming pool is available. An on-site restaurant serves delicious meals at affordable prices. The staff is very helpful. There's a small on-site shop with essentials. The restrooms are clean (little bit outdated) and laundry facilities are available.

Lovely ambience, well run site, way better than UK reviews suggest.

We liked the situation of the site and the huge pitches under oak trees. Toilets and showers clean and comfortable. If you like fishing it’s available on site.

Not really much going on in the area.

Lovely site, no complaints about it. My biggest problem was there was no one at reception on the Sunday we arrived. It took over an hour, and only with the help of a good Samaritan who managed to contact the owner on our behalf were we able to gain access to the camper site. We had paid in full prior to arrival. We had received an email on the previous Friday which was to have a code for access, but they never inserted the code. The lack of communication to emails and phone was most unsatisfactory and stressful.

Lovely grounds and lake with large pitch.

Toilet and shower block totally let's this site down. Total refurbishment required.

Landscaping, large pitches nicely shaded.

Wash block very poorly maintained. Only 3 gents toilet cubicles. One had door lick broken. One had paper dispenser unusable. Not very clean. Shower drains were blocked leaving about 2 cm of dirty water flooding the cubicles. Went to est on the Friday night but told only food was moules frites

Nice big pitch right next to the lake. Opening times of restaurant differed from website to real life but BBQ night was good. Nice wine. Pleasant staff.

Shower block very dated, men’s toilets there was only one cubicle with both a lock and a toilet seat.

Spacious and peaceful site with a pretty lake and a swimming pool. Pitches are large and various shade levels available.

On arrival we were told to pitch anywhere but had no map to see where our pitch-types were located. Reception was supposed to be open on the Sunday we arrived but after our initial contact did not see any staff for help. The bar, restaurant, main toilet blocks and dish washing facilities were either closed or locked. We had no code to enter or leave the site so after our planned one night stay left by the entrance on which the barrier was left open for the duration of our stay.

Camping calme à la campagne, super cadre arboré avec un étang. Le camping est grand. Le mobilhome était très spacieux et propre. Les gérants très sympathiques. La piscine est très appréciable ainsi que les jeux pour les enfants (structure gonflable et trampoline)

Peut-être mettre des horaires pour les structures gonflables (ou les dégonfler pour la nuit) afin d'éviter que des enfants crient dans les jeux tard le soir

Proximité du château lieu de réception du mariage de notre fils.

L'accueil et l'adaptabilité du gérant pourrait être à améliorer. Inflexible sur les horaires de remises des clés des mobil-homes et des codes d'accès pour l'installation des tentes,alors qu'il n'y avait personne avant nous. Il profite des mariages organisés au château pour pratiquer des tarifs exorbitants.

Le camping est très beau, bien entretenu. Néanmoins le prix est élevé et le personnel peu conciliant pour faciliter les horaires d arrivée. Nous avions loué du fait d'un mariage sur le domaine d à côté. Les horaires sont en contradiction avec le déroulement de la journée. Dommage pour un camping qui est certainement la meilleure possibilité de couchage au Deffay.

De la flexibilité sur les horaires et des prix plus raisonnables.
