This was our first time staying at camping de sologne salbris and it was good. We used to stay up the road at nouan le fuzallier at the camping grande sologne (I know, confusing isn’t it!) which was a municipal site but is now owned by a company and very expensive. Camping de Sologne Salbris came up in a Google search and we’re very happy it did!!
Can’t really think of anything, we have facilities in our caravan so we didn’t make use of the sites sanitary block. We’ll definitely be staying again!!
We had a lakeside pitch which was a welcome plus. Being able to sit on the pitch next to the water after a long day driving was definitely very relaxing. Some of the pitches are bigger than others so if you have a very long unit you may struggle, but we were fine. The site was quiet even though being so close to town you should expect a small amount of traffic noise. Electricity connections maybe on the next pitch, not a problem if you use a standard 25m caravan cable but just to be aware. Connections are standard blue plug.
We suffered a minor scratch high up on the side of our caravan after driving from reception to the pitch from a tree branch that had been cut back but unfortunately not far enough, not a major problem but a little annoying on a brand new caravan.

Good value overall. Spacious pitches, small village nearby for amenities, clean toilets and showers, a pool to enjoy and close to the highway.

We waited half an hour just to place an order; we tried to get a staff member's attention twice and even walked up to the bar to order, but that wasn't possible. We eventually left; people who arrived later were being served—very poor service. We ended up getting pizzas in the village instead.

The staff at reception was really kind and helpful. As we came with multiple cars and caravans, she made sure all fit at our pitches

Large lakeside pitch. Friendly staff with good English spoken. Good all round facilities - bar, restaurant and showers. Great location 5 minutes from motorway. Supermarket and petrol less than 5 minutes away. Good value for money.

We stay on this campsite on our way to Spain. The atmosphere is nice also due to the watersport area and restaurant. Reception is very friendly.
Campsite places are with sufficient for your caravan and car.

Altijd een vriendelijk Welkom. Leuke plaatsen aan het meertje. Dorpje met leuke drink- en eetgelegenheden op loopafstand. Supermarkt(en) vlakbij. Al heel veel jaren een vertrouwde tussenstop voor ons.

We didn't like this site. Booked for 2 nights but only stayed for one. Very run down.

bonjour madame je ne comprends pas votre commentaire vous avez était placé sur l'un de nos plus beau emplacement le n 68 camping délabré qu'entendez vous par délabré la coupure d’électricité générale qui n'est pas de notre ressort et qui a était rétabli dans les 2 h en n'oubliant pas que de 6h30 a 8h30 vous dormez normalement donc aucune gêne surtout quand on a l'intelligence de ne pas ouvrir son frigo heureusement que nous ne vous notons pas de notre coté car moi vous n'auriez même pas eu 4 a mon tour maintenant de vous dire ce que je pense merci de passer votre chemin la prochaine fois

Good location - close to town with several options for dining out as well as a boulangerie and large supermarket little more than 5 minutes' walk away. Facilities were clean, showers hot. We went off season so there were ample facilities available. It is off the beaten track so suitable for a relaxing break, although the tourist attractions on the Loire river are not too far away. The nearby radio observatory is worth a visit - a relatively easy cycle ride away.
The table tennis table is under a large tree and so suffers from being covered in bird droppings. Maybe move it out from under the trees?
Large pitch accommodated a campervan with large awning with ease.

The pitch by the lake was lovely, clean and heated shower block. 10 minutes walk into town.
Loo paper could be in the cubicle. Better lighting at washing up sinks.
