Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoPretty site, great pitch. Location suits us as a first & last stop for channel tunnel but area has more to offer for longer stays
Our pitch was very generous - some are smaller

Warm welcome. Owners very helpful. Quiet little site....apart from the noisy toads...take ear plugs!
Looks very unkempt in areas...especially the caravans that have been there a long time...lodges could do with painting and new decking around the campsite. You need a car to get around really, ok for a motorhome for a short stop. Better lighting in the showers and toilets would be good.
Quite shaded...but we didn't have much sun, so didn't matter on this occasion. Close to the showers and toilets

We booked just the night before enroute to Calais for our return crossing expecting nothing. WOW did we get a surprise. An absolutely beautiful site fabulous staff and charming restaurant/bar area. Definitely use again.
Very large spaces for our 8m Motorhome. I would give 15 if I could for Quality price ratio. An absolute gem of a find
Only staying one night. Worth a longer visit.

The site was a convenient stopover on the way north
The disabled facilities were very poor
The concrete blocks were in theory a good idea but not for us because we could not deploy our automatic levelling jacks because they overhung the blocks and the grass
There were hundreds of flies which we should perhaps have anticipated because of water

We've been returning to this campsite for the past 24 years. It's well located in beautiful village with a good shop within walking distance. It's close to the motorway about 2 hours driving time from the Calais ferry port and Eurotunnel. The camping placements are well cared for. The kitchen, washing and shower facilities are excellent, and there's a great communal games room. We've watched this site develop over the years, and now there's a great restaurant/bar and a covered swimming pool. If there's time, it's worth staying for a few days to visit the local historical sites.
Understandably, the pool and restaurant weren't open when we arrived in early April, as it was early in the camping season and still quite cool and quiet. But this made it a very peaceful stop-over, which was very pleasant.
There's a mix of grass and hard standing pitches located around and near a small fishing lake. There's good electric hook-up and fresh water taps located conveniently throughout the site. The communal building has excellent showers, toilets and washrooms. There's a washing machine and tumble dryer, good washing up facilities and even a microwave and kettle for those travelling light. The communal room has a table tennis table, activities and wifi.

Environment
Beautiful pitch overlooking lake . Site was lovely and quiet as we were at the end of the season. Best pitch we’ve had and we have visited many times. A relaxing start to our holiday

Had a great welcome from the reception and the only downside was the restaurant was shut. However there was a small convenience store around the corner and supplies and wine were bought
The entrance is not that well marked
The electricity for our pitch only worked on some sockets so was not an issue
