Camping du Vivier aux Carpes

Swimming pool and grounds are excellent. The toilet and shower blocks were impeccably clean. I was lucky enough to see a hedgehog during our one night stay. There is a bar and restaurant and the bread van that comes in the morning has delicious pastries and bread. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and we appreciated her English skills, we are still working on our French.

Lovely site and amazing customer service making sure we could have something to eat after we were delayed arriving.

Very nice nice site and very well looked after, will return soon and stay longer, we arrived on a Tuesday which is the day the restaurant is closed but bar still open.

Accept later arrivals, good facilities (the swimming pool was very nice) and a very pretty campsite and location.

Keep the bar open a bit later than 19.30?

They told us to email if we were arriving late, which we did. They did not respond to our email and locked the gates, leaving us stranded.

What is the point of asking people to email to say they are arriving late?

What a lovely little tranquil site. We stayed on our way back to the UK from Spain but wished we’d stayed here on the way down to Spain too.

Situation in good village access to lovely countryside .site owners v helpful.

Disabled sanitary is up steep hill. V difficult for wheelchair or mobility impaired.

The pitches and the pool

The toilet block needs a revamp very tired tiles amd floor. Some loo seats were wobbly. Just all needs regrouting.

Nice secure campsite . Facilities dated but very clean with excellent flow of water in showers. Easy to book online.

A little expensive in comparison to other campsites .

Peaceful location

Beautiful setting with a lovely pool. Hosts were amazing and gave a choice of lakeside pitches. They spoke perfect English and were relaxed and easy going. Lovely quiet site. Thank you for having us!

Fishing lake probably needs a restock.. we caught 3 fish in a week but still enjoyed every minute!

Beautiful site. Great size pitches. Smartly kept. Good polite service. Immaculately clean facilities.

I arrived by bicycle and received a warm welcome at reception. The area reserved for small tents and pilgrims has nice flat grass and picnic tables. The campsite facilities are modern and clean, the bar serves cold beer and the village supermarket stocks basic necessities. Would recommend this site.

If you love the countryside and the sounds of nature, you will love it there! Listen out for the bull frogs in the pond.

I thought that the pitches and grounds could do with tidying. Our pitch had long grass, nettles and brambles. Weeds outside reception which doesn't give a good first impression. There's several ponds on site but you can't really see them because of overgrown undergrowth.
