We enjoyed our stay for the Hotrod event just down the road.
Our glamping bivouac was great and the trees were excellent in giving us respite from the heat .
The power socket was tricky to use. And the external chair needed attention.

Generous pitch sizes and clean sanitation blocks. The quiet curfew and reduced lights at night allowed us to see spectacular views of the stars and constellations. 5 minute stroll to the beach which is busy but not crowded. The trails through the forest were well signposted for cycling and walking. I liked the animals walking around site (hens, goats). Perfect place to relax.
Size of the pitch was generous and the size of the site means amenities were close by (water taps, bins)

Tried to telepne ahead, got recorded announcement call centre in french and english, but they called us back so very good. However on downside Sanitaires not fully function. No 1 had no washing up facility, due to excessive heat it was closed. Pich good size, but facilities looking like they need sprucing up

Because of the heatwave it was nice and cool under the trees
I know it is back to nature but the general site is a bit untidy.

We found the staff to be really friendly and when we had a minor issue they sorted it immediately.
Some of the wooden infrastructure on the cabins is a bit tired and needs attention.
We have stayed many times before and the addition of the composting facility and recycling bags was very welcome.
The amount of knives and forks was well down on previous years and still no wifi in the cabins which is a modern necessity I feel.

Only one facilities block open and it could do with a good scrub up I appreciate that the location in in a Forrest but the area had spiders webs and was not clean
Grass needed cutting on most pitches and the hedges were the same which was a shame
The place looked run down tents that looked dirty

Peaceful setting, large pitches in beautiful surroundings. Access to the lake was perfect, we even swam in the lake although the water was very cold. We were able to cycle into the local village although a bit hilly
The camp needed tidying up, hedges needed cutting but we appreciate start of the season.

We were only here for one night. Pitch was very large, fairly level. Facilities were basic but clean Bread delivery every morning if you ordered day before. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English Choice of pitch, not busy but it was early May

Nous sommes vraiment navré pour l'oubli concernant la vaisselle, toute l'équipe vous présente ces excuses et sera de nouveau plus vigilant à ce niveau. Indeed, our Mobilodge-style accommodation is spacious enough to accommodate a family, as was the case with your booking; perhaps adding two dogs makes things more complicated – we understand and will take your comment on board. We had a fantastic stay, the staff were friendly and helpful. The setting, although you can’t see the lake is peaceful and surrounded by nature. Facilities (one block open when we were there) were always clean. We would definitely recommend and will return.
Maybe a greater choice of pastries to purchase for breakfast.

We liked everything about the site. The pitches are large with electrical connections on each and water available at various points throughout the site. It is situated directly beside a lake with facilities for runners, walkers and cycling. There is a small restaurant/coffee shop beside the lake. Toilet and shower facilities are excellent with three buildings available during high season

More shower blocks open , grass was a little long , not sure about the roaming sheep , poo on pitch ch and upset the dog

We are sorry that our free-roaming sheep, which are part of our eco-grazing scheme, did not win you over; if they caused you any disturbance, please do not hesitate to let us know at reception so that we can put them back in their enclosure. Indeed, we have only one block of sanitary facilities open during the low season, as we have fewer campers than in the high season. As for the dog mess on your pitch, we apologise; it is true that every dog is the responsibility of its owner, and we do our best to ensure everyone follows the rules. Although we arrived in a storm and could not get grip on the wet pitches, we were made welcome. We come back every year because of the people. However, hot water could be hotter!!"
