Nice size pitches with shade if wanted. Well established Hedges. Staff very helpful and efficient.
The whole site was almost empty and we couldn't understand why? Soon discovered.....bus load of kids for a week. Nothing against kids enjoying themselves., laughing, cheering having loads of fun....BUT, why was it necessary to have the very loud music with a thumping beat...morning, afternoon and evening? Spoilt our otherwise lovely week and explained why nobody else stayed there!! Not enough electricity. Several people searching for a place to plug-in. WiFi? What WiFi!? Tried all week and nothing worked !!

It's true that during your stay we had a group of children on the campsite which can cause a bit of noise during the day as they do lots of activities together to make the most of their holiday. We fully understand that this may have displeased you and we are very sorry. However, welcoming children's associations is essential for us, because at Seasonova we make it a point of honour to be able to give everyone the means to enjoy a holiday in our establishments with numerous associative partnerships. More electric hook ups. We had to pop ours over the hedge !
We parked our camper van on a large private grass pitch Stacy was an excellent host who looked after us wonderfully. It’s definitely worth trying the local cider and the new restaurant overlooking the lake (a few minutes away).

Large pitches, near to lake and forest.
Sort out the men's toilets. Men using the women's toilets late at night, completely unacceptable! Pitch was double booked, after setting up a large tent,we were asked to move, we refused!
Entertainment for children was good
Toilets (did I mention toilets)? Double booking. At reception EVERYONE is told, choose your pitch, then tell us the number. We did that, two days later it had apparently been booked to someone else, while we were there....

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and we have done our utmost to ensure that your stay continues as smoothly as possible. As far as our toilets are concerned, we have decided to open only one side of the toilets, and to make it mixed, as the occupation of our campsite does not require us to open all our toilets and therefore generate additional water consumption for a small number of people. We're sorry if this has upset you. We are delighted that the location of our campsite in the middle of the forest and the size and quality of our pitches have pleased you. See you soon at Seasonova!

Wiew to the Lake and forest

Unfortunately, during your stay we had a problem with the hot water in our sanitary block 2, so we opened number 1 so that our guests could use the hot water in the other blocks. We hope to see you again at one of our Seasonova campsites.

The facilities block...no toilet seats Bit dated Cold shower water one morning, but soon fixed. No where to wash dishes. Chemical toilet point back up near the gate

Thank you Mr Moore for your kind review, the team is delighted! In fact we had a technical problem with our sanitary facilities but we tried to fix it quickly for the well-being of our dear campers! Our sanitary facilities are not equipped with toilet seats in order to ensure better hygiene with a thorough wash twice a day by our cleaning team but I understand that this can change our habits ;) See you soon!

Really enjoyed our overnight stop at this site.Only downside wss there was no water to the handbasins in the ge ts toilets and also the hand drier wasnt working. That said i would definitely come back and stay at this site.

A beginning of the season visit. Superb weather, large hedged (clipped) sunny pitch for our caravan with all facilities close by and a view of the lake. Lots of walking, bird song and a long unheard cuckoo! Plenty to see do and visit. Lunch outside in Le Mans old city square was fabulous.
It was early season so some pitches hadn’t been mown but perhaps that was to alllow wildlife ( which was abundant) to flourish. The chemical toilet disposal point was adequate but could do with updating.

It was a pleasure to welcome you to our campsite, Mr Gough, and in the sunshine too! We're delighted that you enjoyed our natural surroundings. A 6 day break in a chalet which was perfect and had all amenities we needed, great shower which is a big plus.
Inside the TV location could be better for the darker evenings, but a minor point. The WiFi inside was a little poor, possibly they could offer a WiFi booster hire? Just a basic plug in? Fishing nearby but need a licence for the lake (this is not the Carte Pêche but a separate one for the lake) , easy to get from the Super U, 8 mins away. We fished the river Sarthe (dep 72 carte de pêche required, are online), loads of places to try. Lots of hard fighting Barbel in the river, multiple catches each day.
Great shower, separate toilet. Lots of outside space and like most a quiet location. Spotlessly clean, a credit to them.
WiFi was not great, but time to put your phones down, so a good thing.

The toilet block was immaculately clean, and night time lighting of the site was pleasingly minimal. I just failed to notice a light near the plot I chose!

Yes indeed, the reception is closed on Thursdays in September, but we remain available, you can join the call center or the mobile phone of our camping if needed (both numbers are written on the reception door). Second visit to this site. Friendly welcome both times and bread and pastries offered for the morning. Nice site with ample clean facilities and by the lake with inland beach and swimming area. However, not a fault of the site but there is not a lot to do in the area if the weather is poor. Le Mans isn't far and worth a visit.
Good sized pitch with easy to reach electric connection, not always the case.
Despite there being lots of empty pitches in sunny areas we were allocated a pitch in the shade with no grass whatsoever. Unfortunately, it had been raining before our arrival so it was basically just mud. We're sure an alternative would have been offered had we gone back to the office but as we arrived just before they closed it was too late so made do. And we were only there for 2 nights anyway. The pitch we had last year was much nicer though.

Regarding your allocated pitch, I'm sorry that you didn't like it, pitch 50 was very much appreciated during the summer, but indeed, it's not the best option when it rains a lot. If such thing happens and the reception is closed, please call the mobile number on the door, we would have told you to make yourself confortable on another available pitch. A delightful campsite with huge pitches and spotlessly clean facilities . In a beautiful tranquil part of France . The reception lady was so friendly and helpful . Wonderful walks from the campsite and a beautiful lake next door . I didn’t want to leave

Was unable to check in after being delayed driving and arrive 7.15pm. Reception closed 7pm. Called the number on the confirmation email, and on the sign on the door but no answer and could not check in. Had to find somewhere else. Contacted by email since with no response at all. Disgusting service

Hi Hannah, We're really sorry for this situation but we receive only two calls from you, one on the landline number (which we don't receive anymore after 7 pm) and one on the emergency number. We're really sorry that we didn't ring back after this unique call. And we received your emails one week later. As for the size of the pitches... did you come to the right campsite? I mean we don't have any small pitch, they're all 80m2 minimum, and well defined by hedges. Best regards, the Seasonova La Foret Team
