Excellent campsite. Pool was amazing, great snack bar, entertainment right up until the end of August and pristine showers and toilets. Location was great for beach, bikes and walking.
Pitch was spacious and easy to get the caravan on.

Very clean, well maintained. Staff put a lot of effort into entertainment.
I was disappointed how the restaurant, bar and entertainment all suddenly shut down even though it was still August and there plenty of people staying at the camp site. At the very least the bar could/should have remained open. I was also annoyed by the ruling that I couldn’t wear swimming shorts in the pool and had to purchase swimming trunks.

Regarding the entertainment, it comes to an end at the end of August, as our seasonal staff leave at that time. However, the bar and snack remain open after the entertainment finishes, and will continue to welcome guests until 20 September. As for the swimming pool, our rules require proper swimwear, and swimming shorts are not permitted for hygiene reasons. Der Platz ist sehr schön mit den vielen Bäumen und dem direkten Zugang zum Strand. Die.kleine Snackbar bietet ganz.leckere Dinge an. Der Pool ist sauber und war gar nicht so voll, wie man zur Hauptsaison denken würde. Das Personal war total nett. Die Sanitäranlagen waren okay. Die duschen waren prima. Die Toiletten waren ok.
Die Toiletten durften zur Hauptsaison gerne noch öfter gereinigt werden. Sie werden schon sehr regelmäßig gereinigt, aber wenn so viele Menschen die Toiletten nutzen, darf es gerne noch öfter sein.
Wir hatten einen Platz mit Strom. Unsere Freunde standen direkt neben uns und hatten auch einen Wasseranschluss, das war natürlich sehr praktisch.
Unser Platz hatte leider wenig Schatten. Und es wäre gut gewesen,.um Vorfeld zu wissen, dass der Boden sehr hart ist und man Steinheringe braucht.

We have taken note of your comment regarding the sanitary facilities. Our team checks and cleans them very regularly throughout the day. However, during the busiest times, it can sometimes be difficult to attend to them as quickly as we would like between two cleaning rounds. As for the ground on your pitch, it is normally not this hard. The exceptional heatwave and drought this summer unfortunately made the ground extremely dry and compact, which did indeed make putting in tent pegs more difficult. We've been coming for 10 years to Camping Les Cypres. As our families get older the activities slightly shift - though some stalwarts stay (wooden games!). Pool improvements are good and the additional policing of people leaving their towels on loungers all day is appreciated, however the sea is the real draw and it delivered as always.
Bring back the Molkky championship!
This year we treated ourselves to the poshest cabin - and it was excellently stocked and really comfortable, even in the heat.

We always camping cypres. The staff are friendly, it's easy to cycle everywhere, lots of places to visit in the local area and the vendee in general, and the campsite always has activities to take part in if you want to stay on site. Food is good, new pool is a delight, and thd site shop is well stocked and convenient. Every facility you need is there, laundry, help from reception anx even an iron if you need one! All facilities are spotlessly clean We have visited often and will be back again

Nous prenons bien en compte vos remarques concernant l’espace, la proximité des mobil-homes et les différents services. Concernant nos mobil-homes, nous avons engagé progressivement un renouvellement de notre parc avec l’installation de mobil-homes en bois, afin de proposer des hébergements plus intégrés dans notre environnement. Ce changement se fait petit à petit, car nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas renouveler l’ensemble du parc en une seule fois. We loved the site and its location right next to the dunes. Everything was well kept, the staff were always helpful. It’s right next to the cycle track too so its easy to visit nearby towns. The pool area was one of the best we’ve ever seen!

Pool need umbrellas for shade as in the heat it meant you had to leave as there was no shade. Site was full but bar not open during the day, again mean you had to leave to get drinks. Advertised as being in the trees but many pitches were not and had no shade

We understand your comment about the lack of shade on your pitch, especially during the exceptional heatwave we experienced. Our campsite is partly located under pine trees, but we also have sunnier pitches, as indicated on our website. Some guests prefer shaded areas, while others enjoy more sunshine, so we try to offer different types of pitches to suit everyone’s preferences. During very hot periods, of course, requests for shade are much higher, and unfortunately we cannot always meet them all. Regarding the bar opening times, we also take note of your feedback. Our opening hours can vary depending on the period, but we understand that, during very hot days, having easier access to drinks during the day is especially important. Great location close by car to a nice safe town. Friendly customer-orientated staff who actually care. Feels more personal than the many larger campsites along the West coast. Easy check-in, loved the on-site shop, short walk through the dunes to a great long sandy beach. Owner has a great attitude to making investments to improve the site and facilities every year.
Charging extra for Wifi is common practice in France but these days its esential and feels like a scam. This site could maybe win people over by making this a benefit.

Perfect location, great facilities and the new outdoor pool is probably the best pool I have used for swim training.

The campsite was really nice - next to the beach, wonderful pool inside and outside. The Pitches are big and are partially in the shadow. It was a really nice visit.
Most of the pitches are too sandy for caravans. On our First day we got Stuck in the Sand!

This was our 4th visit to the campsite. The other times have been in a VW camper van but this time we decided to stay in Giroflée tent and it did not disapoint.
The tent had all we needed when we arrived. It was very clean and looked after.
The noise from the entertainment area was a bit loud at times during the night.

This was our second stay at Camping Les Cypres and switched from a pitched tent to a fixed tent (No.400). Super friendly staff, great update to the pool and pool area and as always, easy access to the beach and local areas.
At times the bar area and those leaving the bar created a lot of noise. It's hard to get to sleep pre 11:30pm.
Amazing Tent, super spacious, well laid out with the feel of being outside but with all the comfort of home!
Possible option to borrow electric fan for super hot nights. If no wind is moving the tents hold the heat until early hours.
