Sites et Paysages De Martinière

This was our first visit to the Chartreuse and we absolutely loved it. Great walks, rock climbing and a challenging via ferrata that was very well equipped with excellent views. The campsite facilities were very good and clean and the staff friendly and attentive. We ate at the small restaurant on site on our last night and the oven cooked pasta dishes were delicious and recommended. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Alles war richtig gut. Unser Stellplatz großzügig, die Sanitäranlagen gut durchdacht, sauber und großzügig. Der Pool schön. Die Lage super. Die Betreiber freundlich.

We have been coming to Camping Martinière since 1980, and it has changed considerably over the years - a basic site in a perfect location, has been transformed in a perfect site in a perfect location. The office, facilities and bar are all in sympathetically converted classic Carthusian buildings; the individual encampments have hedges and trees planted giving some privacy; and the carvings, sculptures and herb garden give the place a unique personality. The place is family-run, and the hospitality is warm and friendly.

The welcome was very nice and we got all advise we needed. Friendly personal and good facilities. Will certainly come back when in the area again.

We love the natural beauty, the well-thought through pitches, the carefully well-kept site and the beautiful hiking. Cèline and Brice and their team are always friendly and caring and we love spending our holidays in Martinière.

Nous nous y arrêtons dès que nos voyages le permettent car le camping est tout simplement excellent. Le cadre, l'accueil, les équipements... Les enfants adorent aussi.

Calm, friendly, beautiful

What a lovely campsite. Great facilities, great pitches which you can choose for yourself as everone gets a ride round in a buggy on arrival. Super customer service from a really nice couple who work very hard all day long. There is a very popular restaurant on site which does simple local food. We shared a cheese and mushroom fondue which was very good with a reasonably priced pitcher of wine. Some amazing views and walks from the campsite. A lovely pool to come back too.

Maybe open a few more of the showers so we don’t have a queue at the end of the day.

Welcoming staff, great plots and facilities and the pool was always clean and fresh.

We had a good time at this campsite. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is friendly and speak Enlgish. The pool is nice and not too cold. The bread is of good quality, although a bit pricey. The people that come to this campsite are generally friendly, easy going and respect the campsite and the environment. There were some nice acitivities for children in the late afternoon/evening.

When cleaning the toilets, they close them down completely for quite a long time. The wifi is useless beacause it is terribly slow (at best 10 mbps/s). 5 euro for the washingmachine seems a bit steep. Some sun blocking umbrella's at the pool would be a nice addition. The hot water didn't always work. There aren't any toiletseats.

Very nice site. Staff very friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers alway very clean. Showers always had hot water.

Better drainage for some of the pitches. Infrequent buses and bus stop over a kilometre away. Wanted to visit Grenoble by bus but it proved too difficult to get there and back and have a reasonable amount of time in Grenoble.

Fantastische gezinscamping, fijn en behulpzaam team. Prettige sfeer, schoon, leuke spelletjes en speelgerei, prachtige ligging. Fijn zwembad ook. Aanrader!

Fraîcheur , simplicité et des randonnées à la sortie du camping. Un endroit magique !
