I came on my bike and chose Camping cotentin as I could get there easily on a cycle route straight from the ferry at Cherbourg. It has a lovely beach and I found plenty to do in the vicinity as a cyclist. There is a Carrefour contact shop , a boulangerie and a pharmacy just down the road. The campsite is very well run and very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The glasshouse with the microwave was much appreciated but very hot in the sun, maybe some shading on the roof would be more effective than the 2 umbrellas. Also a kettle for making hot drinks.
I really enjoyed my stay in the cabin. The bed was comfy. There were a few hooks on the wall which were useful. It had an electric socket for charging my phone etc. The balcony provided a pleasant place to sit outside and to lock my bike too. The clothes rack was very useful, I used that ever day. The cabin was great.
Unfortunately being next to the children's play park it got noisy on an evening, and having a field behind meant the children were playing football and inevitably kicked it against my cabin a couple of times. The noise went on some nights until past 11 pm

La table intérieure n’est pas adaptée pour 6 chaises alors que c’est un mobil home 6 places! (Les pieds de table sont mal placés.) Le canapé n’est pas confortable et pas pratique ( coussins qui glissent). Les chaises blanches : c’est risqué…

accueil très agréable, lit dans la cabane de randonneurs très confortable, la véranda a côté permet d'être au chaud lors lorsqu'il pleut en étant "dehors". Les plats disponibles au snack sont de bonne qualité et cela évite d'avoir à ressortir pour se restaurer.
Très bonne idée de proposer ce type d'hébergement. On reste dans l'esprit camping tout en étant un peu moins chargé sur le vélo et un peu plus de confort pour le couchage que dans une simple tente. Je recommande vivement!
