Great owners, so friendly and welcoming. Can’t fault the site, facilities always clean and plenty of them. Good size pitches. Great pool and outside seating. Had a great evening of food, music and dance while we were there a fab night. Would highly recommend t this site for a nice quiet stay.

Regarding the size, all our pitch dimensions are indicated on our website and range from 80 to 100 m². As your caravan measures approximately 7 x 3 metres, we believed the allocated pitch would provide sufficient space, although we understand that manoeuvring can sometimes be challenging depending on the equipment used. We had the most wonderful week at Le Picard. It is a beautifully maintained and immaculately clean campsite. It has brilliant facilities and is well located for doing all the Normandy sights. We will definitely be back. Laurent and Delphine were so friendly and helpful and made the stay a great one. Would highly recommend this site to anyone travelling to or through Normandy, especially if you are after some peace and quiet after a day out seeing the sights or just a few days relaxation. 10/10!
Sink in washroom could do with a plug but such a minor issue - can bring my own!

We had actually already thought about this idea, but from experience we are not always sure that removable plugs would stay in place throughout the whole season and unfortunately they often tend to disappear. Quiet, well appointed site with good washroom facilities plant of hot water, ointment site cafe and shop selling some items. The site is well located for travelling to the Normandy sites especially if you have an interest in the D Day landings. We also travelled to Monet Gardens at Givenchy and although it is a full day trip easily accomplished.
The pitch was all we needed for our c'van and awning - an additional parking space is proved adjacent to the site (45). no problems with either water supply or electricity which is supplied by a standard socket

Keurig verzorgd terrein met mooie afscheidingen tussen de plaatsen. Met onze city aansluiting is water naast de caravan top! Verder een zeer rustige ligging. Bakker en boodschappen een paar kilometer verderop, maar goed te doen. Delphine en Laurent zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Heel fijne mensen

This was our first stay in one of the cottages while we prepare for our caravan winter storage also at Le Picard. The weather was fairly typical for late October; it rained at night and sunshine during the day. We felt very relaxed enjoying the pretty views from all the windows. As always, we enjoyed the self catering aspect of our stay eating and drinking the local Normandie produce.

The cottage was very comfortable and we slept very well. It was immaculately clean on arrival and well resourced with everything we would require for a longer stay too. As the evenings were drawing in earlier after the clocks changed we were grateful to find the main english channels on the TV. The cottage was cosy and warm with efficient heating which we could easily control. The shower was strong and efficient. We would book again.

Regarding the WiFi, as we mentioned in previous replies, we are aware of the weak connection in certain areas. During the winter, we will be looking for solutions to improve it, although our rural location limits the available speed. For the adapters, we always keep some available for loan at reception. We may have forgotten to mention this on your arrival, but we do include this information in the newsletter sent 7 days before your stay. The site is quiet, clean, well run, and perfectly located to discover all that Normandy has to offer. Delphine and Laurent are great hosts, were very informative and both speak excellent English - which to our shame, was most welcome. I highly recommend Le Picard and all being well, we will definitely return.

It was our first caravaning holiday in France and this is the best place for a first trip abroad, location perfect, facilities clean and tidy and the couple that run/own the site are fantastic , the food in the restaurant out of this world

We stayed for 3 nights lovely site, very peaceful. Owls hooting, sheep in the field behind us, peacock wandering around great natural site. We stayed in September. Swimming pool available, I did not have the right swim ware only proper trunks are allowed, not swim shorts. Bread daily if you order in advance from reception limited choices but fabulous service, saved us getting up early to find a baker.
We left quite early on our day of departure, it would have been good to have a light in the loo disposal point & by the rubbish area.
The pitch was great almost full service, water & English electric point. We stayed on pitch 24.

We're so pleased you enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere — the owls, sheep, and our curious peacock really do make it special 😊 You're absolutely right about the swimwear: in France, only proper swim trunks are allowed in swimming pools — no swim shorts. It’s a national rule, not just ours! As for the light at the chemical disposal point and rubbish area — your suggestion makes total sense. But maybe... just maybe… the lack of lighting is our secret trick to keep things quiet and avoid clattering bins and toilet cassettes in the early hours 😄 That said, we’ll definitely think about it. Love this small family run pretty campsite. Our pitch looked out to the countryside giving us a peaceful relaxing 10 days camping. A short drive gives us all we need in Le Molay- Littry which has all the main facilities we need including pharmacie, supermarket, bank, boulangeries and boucherie plus a locals market on Thursdays. It’s not far to the coast with some of our favourite places to visit. There are many places still to visit so we will look forward to many future stays.

Peaceful rural location with a nice pool and excellent facilities. Not far from Bayeux and Arromanches which are both well worth day trips. The site’s bathroom area was exceptionally clean. Run by a friendly couple.Our favourite site of this trip.
