Our pitch was very large and had a nice view. Our car was also on the pitch. The bathrooms were in close distance.

The pitches are too small for the modern motorhome
Pitch ok for tents but not for 7+ m motorhomes
The access and turns are too narrow. Took me 10 mins getting onto my pitch. Overhanging trees also catching awnings and aerials.

We are a little surprised by your comments regarding the pitch and access, especially as you stayed with us last year and the layout and pitches have not changed. When you had difficulty accessing your original pitch this year, we offered you an alternative location, and you chose pitch No. 36 yourself. We therefore did our best to find a solution that suited you. We understand that manoeuvring a 7m+ motorhome can sometimes require care, particularly around trees and hedges, but the access and pitch configuration are unchanged from your previous stay. Everything we needed on site. Weren't aware of the strict swim shorts rule in the pool so unable to use. Restaurant food was very good. Hosts were very helpful and hardworking. Great pitch by all amenities.

Lovely little site. I booked late here & as I had an 8m Caravan they could only site us right by the Pool, but it was perfect & not as noisy as we expected. On arrival we were given a guide of the site & showed where everything was. The people running the site work tirelessly, I don’t know where they got the energy from. We only used the small Cafe/Bar once on the Fish & Chips evening & it was good. I can’t comment on the Toilets & showers because we used our Caravan facilities, but they looked clean. It was ideal four visiting the Brittany D Day Landing sites. Would return again.
Flies were an irritant in the Cafe. Maybe something at the door entrance may help.
Only one disappointment. One couple pitched a tent close to us just the other side of the Hedge. We were very conscious of them as they were just 2m away. It made it a Fire Hazard. I noticed some children playing with a Ball near to the Pitches & the lady asked them not to play there. Sadly on other occasions it went un noticed. Perhaps some information or signs.

Dear Mr and Mrs Edge, Thank you very much for your lovely review and for appreciating the calm atmosphere of our little campsite, as well as our efforts to make your stay enjoyable. We are delighted that you enjoyed the Fish & Chips evening and that our location was ideal for visiting the D-Day Landing Beaches. Regarding the points you mentioned, we would just like to add a little context. Due to the particularly dry conditions during your stay, barbecues were temporarily prohibited, and this was explained to guests on arrival, as a safety precaution. For ball games, we do have a dedicated play area, and we do our best to remind children when they are playing too close to the pitches. Unfortunately, we cannot supervise every corner of the campsite at all times! We sometimes feel a little like campsite police 😊. Your comment is nevertheless useful, as it reminds us that playing football near the pitches can be a real nuisance for neighbouring campers, and we will make this clearer to everyone. As for the flies, this is one of the little challenges of being in the countryside! We do have a UV fly lamp in the café, although we agree that it is not always enough, especially at certain times of the year. Thank you again for your kind words and for your constructive comments. I highly recommend this campsite . The owners Dephine & Laurent are very welcoming and offer an excellent well kept campsite. The bar offers a range of good food alongside alternate Friday fish & chips and mussels nights. Laurent's beouf borguignon & fish & chips should not be missed!

Heerlijk rustige camping. Schoon en goed sanitair. Geweldige eigenaren die met z'n tweeën zo'n beetje alles zelf doen.
Wij vonden het eten in het restaurant wat minder, en zeker re duur voor wat er op je bord kwam.
Nette plaats met een eigen watertappunt. De plaats was redelijk vlak.
Niet iets waar de camping iets aan kan doen, maar er waren erg veel duiven waardoor een groot deel van onze plek ondegescheten was. We stonden op een plek onder een boom. Buiten eten dus alleen onder de luifel.

Your kind words about us mean a lot, as we really do run the campsite as a team of two and put our hearts into everything we do. We are sorry that our restaurant did not meet your expectations, and we were a little surprised by your comment. If we remember correctly, you chose our baked Camembert, which is actually one of our guests' favourite dishes. Of course, everyone has different tastes, and we completely respect that. Regarding the price, we make the choice to use as many local products as possible, such as Camembert and Isigny caramels, as well as Normandy chicken. The price also reflects the preparation and the many costs involved in serving homemade food. That said, we are pleased that many families come back to dine with us two or even three times during their stay, which reassures us that our prices remain fair for the quality we aim to offer. As for the pigeons... if anyone has a miracle solution to convince them to move elsewhere, we would love to hear it! 😊 Unfortunately, nature sometimes has a mind of its own, especially under the shade of the trees that many guests appreciate during warm summer days. Great site with friendly hard working owners. Wonderful hot showers. All very clean. Evening meals available. We had a very relaxing weeks stay there and visited around the villages, towns and coastal areas.

Prima plekken met mooie en schoon sanitair en een prima zwembad om af te koelen.

De tweede keer voor ons op le Picard en het was weer erg goed. Schoon sanitair, lekker zwembad, mooie plek en een gezellig restaurant. Mooie uitvalbasis voor museum-bezoek en strand. En het meest belangrijk: erg fijne beheerders. Ze staan altijd klaar om je te helpen!

We enjoyed the reception when we arrived by Delphine, showing us around and giving us information about days out which was very handy and saves you extra walks with questions to the reception. Nice emplacement, spacouis for a tent and close to very nice and topclean toilet blocks. Swimingpool nice for a dip, bread in the morning, good supermarkets near by. For a meal in the evening there is a small , friendly restaurant where Laurent serves you a nice dish. We had a lovely stay!

Wij verbleven hier bijna twee weken in juni 2026. Lekker zwembad, gezellige behulpzame eigenaren en prachtige omgeving met akkers, koeien, paarden en mooie heuvellandschap.Mooie uitvalsbasis om de stranden van DDay te bezoeken en je onder te dompelen in de historie van het gebied. Wij komen ook zeker nog terug, zijn nog niet klaar met onze ontdekkingsreis!

Lovely campsite with plenty of shade, beautiful surroundings, spotlessly clean and very friendly owners. Great base for exploring the western part of Normandy. We spent 8 days here and could easily stay for longer.
