Camping Le Picard

Dear Madam, Thank you for returning to stay with us and for taking the time to share your feedback. We are genuinely pleased that you noticed the many improvements we have made since your first visit in 2019. As you mentioned, the new sanitary facilities, improved swimming pool and other upgrades represent a great deal of work, and we appreciate your recognition of the effort we put into maintaining the campsite every day. Regarding the parking spaces, the divider is there for a reason. It allows each of the two pitches to have its own private parking space and prevents one guest from occupying both. We understand that it may require a little more care when parking, but removing it would simply create new issues for other campers. As for the croissants and chocolate pastries, tastes are, of course, very personal. We regularly enjoy them ourselves and think they are delicious, so perhaps we simply have very bad taste! 😊 Finally, about the peacock… and now the pigeons. You are quite right: my response is exactly the same. Just as I cannot control the peacock, I also cannot control the pigeons, rabbits, frogs or any of the other wildlife that shares our beautiful countryside. They all seem to enjoy the campsite as much as our guests do! Thank you once again for your visit, and we hope that if you decide to return for a third stay, you will continue to notice the improvements we can make… while accepting that nature sometimes has plans of its own. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay, especially your pitch and the friendly atmosphere. We would also like to apologise for the disappointment regarding the ice creams. It was not so much a question of flexibility as of anticipation. Before July, we do not usually stock ice creams because deliveries are not scheduled for June. Like many people this year, we were caught by surprise by the exceptional heatwave! Your comment is very valuable, and we will certainly take it into account when planning future seasons so that we can better adapt if such unusually warm weather arrives earlier than expected. Dear Madam, Dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your stay with us. We are delighted that you enjoyed the cleanliness, the peaceful atmosphere of the campsite and your well-equipped pitch. Regarding the bar, you may not have realised that we are just two people managing the entire campsite. Outside of July and August, our bar and restaurant are open only three evenings per week. This information is clearly available on our website and is also included in the welcome email sent before arrival. A quick read and a little planning make it easy to organise your stay, as reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance. That said, although your request came only two hours before dinner, we still managed to find a table for four people because we always do our best to accommodate our guests whenever possible. It is therefore a little disappointing that this effort appears to have contributed to a 4/10 service rating, when it was actually an exception we were happy to make. We’re delighted you enjoyed your stay with us. We're sorry that our ice creams were not yet available during your visit. We usually start stocking them from July, but this year's warm weather arrived much earlier than expected and caught us by surprise! Regarding the Wi-Fi, thank you for your understanding. Following a recent system update, two of our access points have unfortunately stopped working properly. We are spending a lot of time with our technician to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In the meantime, Wi-Fi remains available around the swimming pool and throughout the left-hand side of the campsite. Thank you again for your valuable feedback. Regarding the size, all our pitch dimensions are indicated on our website and range from 80 to 100 m². As your caravan measures approximately 7 x 3 metres, we believed the allocated pitch would provide sufficient space, although we understand that manoeuvring can sometimes be challenging depending on the equipment used. We had actually already thought about this idea, but from experience we are not always sure that removable plugs would stay in place throughout the whole season and unfortunately they often tend to disappear.
