Fabulous & enthusiastic welcome! Very peaceful site in great location for exploring the D Day beaches & museums.
Fair size grass pitch. Excellent water pressure. Secluded from neighbouring pitch by low hedging which is well maintained.

The cottage was very nice, clean with good amenities. The campsite is well maintained and in a great location. We had a wonderful stay.

Very warm and informative welcome. Large individual pitches with water and electricity on them. Very convenient for touring North Normandy, beaches and Bayeux. Lovely quiet rural setting.
Toilets and shower facilities are small and dated but very clean.
Excellent sized and serviced pitch. Watch out for falling acorns.

Very clean which is a fantastic. I use contact lenses & felt confident cleaning them daily at the facilities of this campsit. Lovely heated pool but sadly we did not have time to use it. Laurent equipped us with various maps & guidance leaflets which was very very useful.

Dear Madam, Dear Sir, We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Concerning the opening of the snack/bar, you have been informed by email 7 days before your arrival that in low season (from the 24/8 to 1/11) the snack/bar is only open 3 days on the week on reservation 24h before so it wasn't a surprise when you arrived. It is normal that for a price of low season you have less services. If we keep opened it all the season in that case we will keep the high season price all season. Such a fab and friendly place, quiet and peaceful and well located with easy reach to activities, sites and amenities
Spacious and accessible. Water and electric on each pitch with easy to reach toilets and showers. Privately screened with mature hedges and can easily accommodate larger tents and caravans

Relaxed atomsphere, such a pretty site great hosts very informative and helpful would highly recommend, will definitely be coming back. Great facilities for teenagers table tennis, fishing and swimming pool.
Food in the restaurant on site was nice but very expensive for what it is!
Pitch’s very spacious with your own water and electric portal. Very well looked after grounds.
Dear Family, Thank you for your very good feedback! We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry if you found the food at the restaurant expensive but we use local product (Caramel and cream form Isigny, the cheese of Isigny also and the meat from the butcher so these products are more expensive to buy). You paid 68€ for 3 persons with €20 for drinks (beers, wine and soda) and 2 local meals: chicken and camembert which is not very expensive compare to others snack/bars. Best regards. This campsite is perfect tranquility, you cannot help but absorb the peaceful nature of this site and let it enfold you. You just instinctively slow down and kick back, a perfect antidote to our busy lives. This site is rustic in nature but the facilities are spotlessly clean, the showers powerful with ample hot water ( and no push buttons to keep pressing for the water to flow). The pool was spotless and a lovely 27 degrees. The bar and restaurant are lovely with good food on offer. The owners/managers are busy all day long which explains why the site is so clean and tidy.
The pitches are a good size and level. Each pitch has a tap for fresh water. No electricity hook-up used. Did I mention how peaceful it was?

Lovely family run site. Nothing is too much. When we arrived we were taken to our pitch and provided with all the information needed, a real personal touch. Shower and toilet block were clean and tidy. Nice level pitches with Sunny or Shaded pitches. The garden area was ideal and well kept.
Maybe have bread available at 08:30 instead of 09:00.
Power and water supplied also the site provided any adapters for water and electricity if needed! As I have already said nice level pitches. Plenty of room on the pitch for Van, Car, Canopy and bikes.

How second time at Le Picard A beautiful site ,with great facilities English speaking host,Delphine looks after you , information readily available and if not you only have to ask .only 50 minutes away from the British war memorial at Normandy beaches and 28 minutes to the town of Bayeux and the Bayeux tapestry and 49 minutes to the port of Quistreham ,so ideally located for ferries ,and for any fisherman a lake with carp. We stayed here to be close to Normandy beaches and WW2 memorials. What a lovely find, a small campsite with the friendliest owners we have met anywhere. They run the site by themselves. So quiet and lots of birds to listen to. Had a nice heated pool although we didn’t get a chance to try it. Bar /restaurant is great food was really nice and very relaxed atmosphere. We stayed during the England semi final and watched it in the small bar with a few other guests and the owners , great friendly atmosphere.
Pitches are fair size we had a campervan and awning which fitted with a bit of jiggling but was fine, just parked ourselves close to the hedge. We had a small hole in ground just as we stepped out of van which the owner filled in immediately at our request. Such a chilled place to stay we loved it. Facilities good loads of hot water and nice showers. Washing up area, showers and toilets kept spotless.
