"Short stay"
Two day stay on way south site just relaying hard standing pitches but not a problem .showers nice hot short walk into town

Easy access to site nice friendly staff

Unfortunately they had some very wet weather and the grass at the side of the pitch was very muddy but they can’t control the weather will be happy to stop there on way back home

"Good short stay site"
Good access, Good sized pitch. Good restaurant and friendly staff.

Toilet blocks need urgent refurbishment.

"Amazing Place!"
I stayed here 40 years ago as a child & I was pleased to see how the site maintained the same peaceful atmosphere, with some lovely upgrades - Same family run the place and they are the kindest, happiest campsite owners we've ever met. The grounds are beautiful around the chateau. The food & drinks are gorgeous & fresh at both cafe & restaurant. There's a nice, relaxed crowd on the site and there is discreet entertainment, without being too full-on. The pitches are great, spacious & flat. The fishing/kayak lake is really peaceful and natural and the kids loved the play area, with zip-line.

The pool could was chaos at times! It's not very big for the number of campers on site.

Breakfast and bread, location and signage to get there. Good security

No soap online toilets to wash hands, toilet block needs a good clean. The grass has not been cut regulatory, looks untidy. Huge out holes along road by pitches that can cause bad damage to cars and caravans.

We stayed 2 nights Lovely ambience Walking distance to nice restaurants Wi-Fi was free but I think only available close to reception Shame!!
