Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoThis is our second year camping at the Montagn'arts festival. Last year we were in a tent really close to everything, and this year we were much further away in a tent space next to friends who rented a cabin. Both have their perks. One of the best parts about this campground is the stream that meanders through the sites- the children can explore all day without parents worrying about them. Even though there is water and it is well shaded, there are no mosquitoes, so we could enjoy being outside all day and into the evening. We would like to come back when there is no festival some time.
We were happy that our friends had a cabin with a bathroom, if they did not, the public bathrooms were WAY to far away from our site for a family with younger children.

The site is beautiful, there are lots of trees and creeks all over. There is a lake to bath on and every from the staff we interacted with was lovely and helpful
there are way to many pitches and tends and very close to each other. people were respectful, so not too much of an issue but some more privacy and quietness would have been nice
clearly indicated, flat area, close to sanitary instalations.
not an issue for us, but some stayers i think had to go as their pitchs floodes as it rained a bit during our stay. not a lot of "common areas" which would have been nice to shelter during a rainy stay

Lovely campsite and good base for walking. June is the time to see the alpine flowers, particularly Col d’Hurtieres. Handy village shop.and restaurant. Avoid the triathlon weekend (late June) if you’re there for peace and quiet.
Clean and comfortable. Plenty of kitchen stuff. A dish drying rack would be a useful addition. The cabins ‘sans sanitaire’ do not come with deckchairs/Sun loungers, so take your own if you’re travelling by car.
For those travelling by foot, it would be helpful if it was possible to hire deckchairs.

Beautiful surroundings, and all the streams are perfect for younger children who want to play in the water when taking a break from the lake. We love all the trees perfect for hammock naps. The layout is well thought out and staff is friendly and helpful.
Fridge option is great when staying a longer period and again, so lovely to have the stream to relax by/in. Lots of trees.
Only down side was that our pitch was very hot with not much shade until mid afternoon and a lot of flies.

We arrived after closing following a long day's travelling and expected we would have to stay outside but a helpful young member of staff allowed us to enter and choose our pitch. I booked in on the following morning and the receptionist was very helpful. The facilities were always clean and the atmosphere of the site implied a great deal of thought had gone into improving the site.
Music in the sanitary blocks! Young people still seem to view the sanitary blocks as a place to meet their friends, despite the notices to the contrary.
The busy season hadn't quite started so we only had neighbours for 1 night.
No, the site was not that busy so our comments might not be typical for all seasons. The management appeared to have realised that people come to this site for peace and quiet.

C'est la 3e année que nous venons au camping valbonheur pour le festival des montagn'arts et ce fut encore un très grand crû!
Hyper confortable, très bien équipé, j'adore ces rivières où les enfants peuvent jouer, la proximité du lac

Super week-end du festival les montagn'arts, 3 jours dans ça camping royal et magnifiquement situé avec accès au lac. Malgré le monde présent le personnel reste accueillant et patient. Propreté et confort des sanitaires appréciables, papier toilette fourni, essuie main, savon, congel à dispo pour les pains de glaces.
Au milieu des arbres et au calme
A part les sardines durs à enfoncer en raison des racines, c'était parfait. Dommage que les voisins ont pas respecté le stationnement sur le parking prévu à cet effet

Nous avons séjourné pendant le festival Montagnart's. C'est toujours un plaisir de venir à cette occasion. De plus le service du camping est très parfait !

C’est notre second séjour là bas. Sans enfants, c’est un havre de paix. Possibilité d’être dans des lieux vivants comme très calme, très rapidement. La seconde fois, avec nos deux enfant et un chien. Toute la famille s’est ressourcée, les ruisselets du camping ont fait le bonheur des petits, l’accueil est accessible et très sympa, les sanitaires bien nettoyés et entretenus, rien à redire pour nous. On reviendra avec plaisir 😊
