What a disappointment. A beautiful area and setting. The campsite let it down. Nearly all camping pitches have bern replaced with wooden chalets since our visit last year and those left only a few were grassy the rest mud and when it rained were a nightmare. Toilets and showers old, dirty and broken. Site was like a building site with work materials on camping pitches, roads awful and whole site a mess and unloved. Very expensive holiday in a building site with young staff who don’t care about the state of the large site. N
Large pitch but lots of others were tiny.
Garden waste left on the pitch and not removed when we asked at the office and told it would be. Rd to pitch a muddy mess and skippy coming in with caravan in the rain. Water rolled down the site to our pitch causing mayhem.

Local attractions - cycle options, lake. Indoor swimming pool was a nice bonus incase of bad weather and the restaurant was excellent with quick service and great food. The staff were very friendly, shop and bakery good and some great opportunities to hire karts and bikes.
Water was rarely warm in the dish washing areas and showers. Outdoor pool was nice, but in need of an update - kids got splinters from the deck. Unfortunately our stay meant the outdoor pool closed for the season and there were no more activities.
Good space with a great view, close to wash facilities.
Shame it didn't have a water point nearby.

A good position site and we had a large pitch with good outlook. Noisy if you stayed at reception end, quieter the other end. Some pitches were small and very overlooked. Pitches need to be sectioned off better by using shrubs and plants ad is normally found on french sites. Piles of grass cuttings near pitches attracted bugs and we saw mice. Toilets were rather dated and not terribly nice to use. Cleaned but needed another clean during the day as it’s a big site with not many toilet blocks. Food was very good, especially the pizza’s.

Too close to next pitch, needs hedging between pitches as most french campsites do. Pile of garden rubbish under a lovely big pine tree that would of been lovely to sit under in the extreme heat. There was also piles of grass cuttings etc. on other pitches in our area of the site making them an eyesore. We did see rats or mice in the heap by us and reported it to the site garden man that was working near us and he said he would send someone, nobody came back to us. Toilet blocks old with several cisterns not flushing and no seats. No hand washing in toilets, not very clean .

It was quiet. We liked the indoor pool and the staff were all friendly

We like the Place and the Region, the Pitches are big enough and the Camping Area is nice. The reception stuff are very helpfull and friendly.
We did not like the Toilet Situation. Everything was too dirty and the clean personal did it not very good. It must be cleaned several times during the day and not only one time per day. Needs to be changed very urgent! The Team at the Bar is very unfriendly. Especially one guy there. Unfortunatelly very unfriendly and not motivated, not trying to give a good service for the customer!!

Great site used as a one night stop over while travelling to and from the South. Easy to find location in a beautiful place, would definitely stay again if travelling down to the south. Kids enjoyed the pizza machine. Used the outdoor swimming pool and enjoyed the slides.
The shop could have been a little bit more equipt with after a full day ion the road needed some substantial essentials and water/beer! The gentleman running the bar was very rude, ignored me then when I asked about takeaway food he said they were not doing it!! (Friday) no mention on the campsites info of days just times served. My nephew went back 5 minutes later and got take away food. Outdoor pool looked like it needed a good clean.

Pleasant little campsite, very peaceful and quiet with very friendly and helpful reception. We stayed in a mobile home, perfect for our needs with 3 teenagers. Pools are pretty basic, but we didn't really need them since we spent most of our time at the lake. Lots of activities for the kids (paddle boarding, surfing, canoeing) or just floating in the warm water. Lovely area with lots of things to do within an 1 hour drive. Kept us entertained for 12 days and would have happily spent another few days there!
More basic than we usually go for but absolutely fine for our needs, especially because the weather was so good that we did not spend much time inside anyway. Great to have 3 bedrooms and loved the nice big fridge!
Maybe replace pans / pots more frequently (they were a bit used) and supply a couple of extension leads, since the sockets are very limited. A fan to cool down a bit would be a great extra too!

The unisex bathrooms were ok but could have been a little cleaner and sometimes had no toilet paper

A tranquil place to stay with an excellent restaurant.
The rain, which stopped us riding by the Canal de Bourgogne.
We didn't stay in the ROULOTTE. We changed to a two person cabin which we liked very much.

I enjoyed my stay at Lac de Panthier camping. I went there for a 2nd time with my husband. I really enjoyed the calm and beautiful scenery. The camping offers a great interior pool which is enjoyable during the low season. The mobile homes are very well equipped with a small kitchen that includes everything from utensils to the fridge, which allows you to prepare your own meals should you wish it. The restaurant offers reasonable pricing and the Saturday entertainment is fantastic! I highly recommend it to couples or families looking for a value for money holiday.
Check-in and check-out times can be better. 4pm check-in is quite late, 3pm would be more reasonable. check-out at 10am is also quite early, ideally checkout should be at 12pm, it would also allow people to relax that morning and maybe even grab lunch at the restaurant before leaving :)

Unfortunately our pitch was very close to the bar/restaurant which had live entertainment from 6-11 pm which was very loud. I understand it was a Saturday evening but after a very long drive just wanted some peace and quiet! Also the showers were dated and the water cold, but they were clean.

The staff and environment are both superb.
Pitch was exactly as requested. I was there on a fishing holiday and asked for easy access to the reservoir in my booking form. I was allocated the perfect pitch. Welcome and tour on arrival was perfect and the staff could not have been more helpful. Lovely relaxed atmosphere around the site.

La pizzeria du camping est une grosse arnaque, patron et patronne antipathiques, les plats sont médiocres et de mauvaise qualité , et froids. Beaucoup de vacanciers s'en plaignent, à ÉVITER de toute urgences.
Le frigo est grand.
Il n'y a pas de machine à laver le linge, beaucoup de travaux par ci et par la, le Camping est boueux. Les poubelles à l'entrée en guise de bienvenue. À l'accueil une chaleur étouffante pas de climatisation, une queue interminable.Le camping e en deux parties séparées franchement pas pratique. Il ne mérite pas du tout ses quatre étoiles.

Les animateurs sont géniaux il font tout leurs possible pour fair le plus d’activités à la piscine sous le chapiteau pour les petits et les ados Maë et Théo les MEILLEURS animateurs !!❤️

Kein Busverkehr vor 8 Uhr!!! Vor 6 Uhr morgens fuhren direkt vor unserer Unterkunft Osteuropäische Fernreisebusse ab! Motoren liefen gute 15 Minuten warm mit dem entsprechenden Lärm! Die Nacht war damit gelaufen!!!
