Second time O haves the campsite and would use again the pitches are spacious and well played out and it is in an ideal location for visiting the town

Great spot for Verdun town you really couldn’t get any closer . Near to WW1 museums especially the Citadel and Cathedral . Pitch’s ok but some larger outfits would struggle. Our time didn’t allow us to use the pool for cafe . Well used site so a little scruffy, site roads stone and breaking up, place needs a make over . But we would use again for short stay.

Resurface the roads around the site especially the wide one along side of the motor home service point. Reception building and those in that area need cleaning or refreshing . More water and electric points.

Nice bar/restaurant staff very friendly abd helpful

Shower facilities when used in the evening not every shower worked. Obviously not aware until ready to use. Very frustrating had get dressed again and waited for the next one available.

Staff were fantastic

Terrible experience here site was loaded with what seemed to me as refugees which had no respect for anyone, 1 kid was walking around with a knife chopping at trees. The toilets were flooded to the point my wife actually swept the water out would never stay here again

Nice campsite in the areas for World War One battle sites. Decent size pitches with shade, and the whole site was peaceful and able to cope with the number of campers there. Friendly staff and an onsite shop with essentials and a free-use freezer for ice packs. Walkable into town, and easily cycleable to local historical sites.

Dirty sanitary units, locked in overnight and unable to leave when we needed to. Noisy at night

Clean toilets more regularly, ensure toilet paper in cubicle. Have separate men/women toilets.Give a code so you can open the gate to leave.

Good, flat pitch.

Large group of campsite users repeatedly wanted to cross our pitch. They had no concept of etiquette and wanted to cross through the middle of our pitch whilst we were sat on it - these were young children, teenage boys and middle aged women. Only stayed one night because of this.

Pool was great for kids

Gravel on roads very dusty, needs more chippings

Very popular for young families but makes for a noisy visit with children running around until midnight. Washrooms needed cleaning earlier in the morning as closures for cleaning meant queues for showers. Cleaning also needed redoing during the day due to volume of usage. Swimming pool excellent but only available for actual swimming in the morning before children took over on mass

More frequent cleaning of washrooms. Slots for using swimming pool to avoid over crowding. Dedicated hours for adult swimmers. Warmer welcome for English - guy at reception desk was ever so slightly awkward causing delays at check-in after a long day travelling

Très joli camping à taille humaine, accueil top restaurant top aussi.

Définitivement hors de prix ! (Plus de 70 € pour 2 ). Ne se justifie pas, même si camping très sympa.

The pitches and facilities were well-kept. The campsite was quiet in the evening and the fact it was close to downtown was perfect for sightseeing. The service at reception, in the shop and restaurant was always friendly and helpful.Our son enjoyed having the pool on site for a quick swim in the evening .

Everything was clean, the pool was perfect for the kids.

Everything is old but in good conditions. Some renovations in a few years needed.

Friendly, helpful staff

Nice campsite conveniently located within walking distance of Verdun town centre. Ample shady pitches, Good bar and restaurant and reasonably priced.food and drink.Pools looked lovely but unfortunately due to time limits we were not able to try them.. Plenty of showers and toilets which were well kept and clean

Our only problem was the availability of electricity points. They are quite widely spaced and even using two extension leads we were unable to reach one in our nominated pitch so had to move to a different one.

Always liked staying here it as been 7-8 years since we came nothing much as changed

Separate men's and women's toilets

We had a fantastic stay, clean, friendly and great facilities. We will be back!

Clean, friendly and lovely amenities

Nice pitches of a good size. The pool is fine. The location is good for visiting Verdun for a few days. Well functioning laundry.

Cleaning more often. The toilets were sometimes really dirty in the morning and toilet papir were missing. There were no soap in the soap dispensers at any time. It would be nice if you could control the water temperature properly in both showers and faucets. In some places it was not possible to control it and in others it seems to fluctuate randomly.

Big nice pitches with a lot of shade. Nice pool.
