Camping Les Breuils

Good location to walk into Verdun and explore sites linked to WW1. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good to be able to order bread and croissants at the site shop.

The site is quite large and another toilet/ shower block at the bottom part of the site would be an improvement.

Booked for 4 nights but booked an extra night before travelling on to Paris. Good size pitch, spotless facilities and great pool. Great location with a short walk to the town with plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes, and the citadel tunnels. We will definitely use this site again.

What a great site, easy walk into the town. Facilities are very good, decent showers, the pool was great for cooling down and a swim. Had some really nice food in the restaurant too. Bread and croissants to order and a fair little shop for essentials.

The pitches are huge with privacy hedges. There is sun and also shade from the trees. The swimming pool is lovely and stays open until 10 pm.

Allow the showers to be regulated instead of the constant too hot temperature. Umbrellas need to be added around the pool to provide some shade. The water at the washing up areas was too cool to allow for effective washing up.

Good size pitches, grounds well maintained, plenty of toilets and showers all clean. Staff very friendly and helpful Small shop that has everything you may have forgotten. Pool size great with great slides for big and small kids, very clean. Restaurant lovely withgood choices.

Attention to a small details.. a few footpaths broken on road behind pool.

Nicely laid out site with lots of hedging and trees between pitches. Friendly staff. Good restaurant. Swimming pool looked good, but we didn't have time to try it out. Toilet blocks perfectly adequate but a bit out-dated.

It was a shame that the gates are locked overnight until 7.30am as we needed to leave well before this to continue our travels. This meant that although we could use all the facilities we had to park our campervan outside on the carpark overnight.

The site itself was nice, location was ok, not to far out of the town. The facilities were good but did not get a warm feeling from the owners/staff

Car breakdown led to unexpected stay.

Provided all we needed for a one night stop on way home. Showers and toilets very clean. Good size plot with some shade which was important with the high temperatures.6

Seemed to be a blockage in the drain for greywater so couldn't unload.

Lovely campsite, well maintained, clean modern sanitary block and welcoming staff. Easy walk into Verdun.

We really enjoyed our short stay on this site and would definitely come again. Large pitches, well separated by trees and hedges for privacy and some welcome shade. We didn’t use the restaurant but it seemed well patronised. The swimming pool was a glorious bonus in super- hot weather. Good location on the edge of Verdun but within walking distance of the centre. Useful walking track for the dog just outside the site. Also a good vet in Verdun for use before returning to the UK.

Clean and well maintained. Pool was lovely. Nice partly shaded pitches. Great location for visiting the war memorials and the town. Friendly staff.

The foot wash before entering the pool could have been cleaner and hand sanitizer/ soap is always a welcome addition to any toilets

The swimming pool is great for kids. One small pool for babies/toddlers, a separate swimming pool, and two water slides landing in yet another pool. All facilities were very clean at all times of the day. The pitches are spacious with a small hedge separating each pitch.

There’s no hand soap at the wash basins in the toilet block.

Traditional family French site with all amenities that are required and a few more besides. Lovely tree or bush lined pitches, morning bread service, restaurant, pools, washing machine and dryer, clean if older, bathrooms and friendly lady owner

Waste water disposal could be improved

Stopped here for one night on our way to Germany.

East to find. Sanitary facilities was good . Site was peaceful and quite. Good night sleep

Motorhome service point could do with renovating a little.
