"Lovely holiday on a happy, friendly site with a great pool"
Loved the pool, the water slides, the helpfulness of most of the owning family. This place appeals to people who like a quiet rural setting so the atmosphere was peaceful and friendly. We had one evening of noisy neighbours in 2 weeks. Couldn't complain. It was only conversation.

Cooking facilities in the chalet very limited. Very few English speakers around. We got into trouble with rules about shorts in the pool. Genuinely thought that the mesh lined swim boxers complied, but they don't, apparently?

Review Cottage Luxe

Cabin was clean. Beds were comfortable. View from the deck was beautiful. Perfect distance from the play equipment for the 6 year old to stay in sight but have a bit of independence. Nice and close to the pool, but we were never bothered by noise. Parking close, behind the chalet. Air condtioning very helpful (see below). Bar was nicely located on the way back from the pool for post swim icecreams.

Kitchen equipment very limited. Plenty of saucepans but no kettle, cups or mugs, cooking knives or any utensils, no cooking dishes, very small oven (grill), no barbecue (but that may have been a fire hazard issue). Air conditioning was extra, (80 euros per week). The information was in the confirmation email but we missed it.
