Camping Seasonova Les Mouettes

We were on a cycle tour through Normandy and Veules Les Roses was our first night camping in France. Delightful!! Very easy and accommodating for cyclists. Great facilities.

Nature, villages surrounding

Sehr netter Empfang, Platz war voll, haben doch noch einen kl.angenehmen Stellplatz erhalten. Der Platz hat Alles was man braucht und ist toll gelegen.

Nice site, silent place.

The place to discharge the grey water is akward: it is impossible to place the camper above the grid, that’s placed in the middle of the place, instead of on the left or right. A lot of people were complaining about it, and all just discharged the grey water on the floor. Not ecological at all! Waiting till 9 o’clock for bread is too late and there’s always a queue. Five days on a row there stayed five empty bottles on the floor of the dishwashing room, is that room only cleaned once a week?

Location

I would prefer to pay a little extra for cleaning instead of being inspected by “cleaning police” before we leave. No one without proper tools and chemicals can do it in any good quality anyway so it seems wierd that Ineeded to make the place look clean. It would be nice if more info would be provided upon arrival-as for example where is th closest shop, possibility to order bread, bar working hours ect. Info was given when we came and ask. Our pitch bathrooom door was not oppening well so we need to assist our daughter all the time.

We arrived at les Mouettes at 11.30am after travelling for 5 hours in the rain and enduring a difficult to navigate road closure to be told that our pitch may not be ready and we would have to wait until 2 pm before we could enter the site and go on our pitch, I started to ask if I could check to see if the pitch was vacant and before I could finish my question I was told rather loudly and aggressively that NO I could not, when I asked if we could go on a different pitch I was again spoken to in the same manner. We have stayed at Ettenemare and Haliotis for a total of 10 days with No problem.

Either change your reception team in particular Fabbiene or retrain your staff. We have stayed at Seasonova sites many times over the past 8 years with no problems getting on to our pitch before 12o’clock, when I came out of the reception an English lady spoke to me as she could see that I was upset and told me that she was treated in the same way, very poor attitude and very impolite. We decided not to stay at Les Mouettes and went to Etennemare instead where we had no issues at all so can not comment on what the pitch or anything else was like as we weren’t allowed through the entrance.

Showers abit tired, need more of them & less sinks plus they meed to be cleaned more frequently

Propere camping met aangename plekjes; en zwembad met bar. Vooral de feeërieke muziek in het sanitairblok en het heel vriendelijk personeel viel ons positief op.

Camping sympathique - emplacement sympathique

Soigner vos haies de verdures entre couloirs car il était difficile de passer à pied de l'emplacement vers les sanitaires en raison de l'espace réduit dans les passages. Organisation : A notre arrivée, l'emplacement désigné était occupé (apparemment une prolongation dont l'occupant devait changer d'emplacement. C’est à vous de surveiller cela. We stayed two nights in order to explore the lovely village and surrounding area. Our pitch was quite wide but only just deep enough for our 7.4m motorhome. The access roads were a little tight and we had to pull our wing mirrors in to gain access to the water taps.

In our opinion the water taps need moving to a more accessible location for motorhomes. The roads are just too narrow. We couldn't find a grey water waste empty point either.

I have stayed at camp site a few times and have found location excellent, easy drive from Dieppe, village a delight, restaurants have a good menu.

Friendly staff, nice clean facilities, big pitches.

A pleasant stay on a clean and well presented site

Nothing to comment on

Calm campsite, close to the city. Nice surroundings.

Prefer to have more Easy access for emtying tanks in The campervan. Preferally at the same place.

Location, great design of on pitch facilities. Good size pitch with privacy hedge on one side. Visited campsite several times before. Really like Veules les roses and locality.

Children’s playground could be improved. On busy weekends it would be good if the bar/snacks etc were available. The site was full so very busy at reception and rather chaotic.

Extra facilities in the pitch made for a more relaxed environment , liked being next door to our family on next pitch. 3 bed bungalow just a bit further away. Generally good facilities for the children although play area could have a few more pieces of equipment. Generally friendly staff. Thanks. We have stayed a number of times at your site and love the location.

Not always clear in English what should happen eg not about to order bread etc every day. It would have been nice if the bar/cafe were open at least at weekends at this time of year.
