Site was clean, spacious and close to many scenic parts of the Dordogne Valley area. Staff were helpful.

Spotlessly clean, really helpful and friendly team who run the place and a great location, walkable to Beynac and Marqueyssac gardens which means you don't have to drive every day.

Good well sized pitch.
One of the lights on the shower block is really bright and does need either repositioning or moving as it lights up the pitch adjacent to the play area. We think it went off at midnight though?

At the weekend you can pick up food, which is fantastic. The new chalet is fully equipped. A lot is being done for the environment.

We loved staying at Cinq Chateaux! Excellent location on the river, only a short walk to Beynac and some other lovely places to eat and drink. Our pitch was near the play area so it was perfect for our children. We loved that the sites were shaded and had privacy thanks to the trees. We ordered bread every morning which was delicious and a great service. Loved trying the local beer and wine at the bar, and the food was nice too. Showers and toilets were clean and plenty of hot water. The campsite guide was very useful and we were impressed by the eco credentials e.g. reusable cups.
A little more shade around the pool during the afternoon when it's hottest would be good - the position of the shades means that there's hardly any shade during the afternoon, only in the morning.
Nice shaded pitch, separated from others by well established hedge. We liked that ours was near the play area and would probably request that again.
Our pitch was on the small side - probably only just 100m2 - which was fine as it was big enough for us but may not have been for a bigger set up. Be sure to bring an extension or long enough cable as the hook up is very far from the pitch!

Large riverside pitch with trees and hedges providing shade and privacy. Perfect peaceful location with riverside walk into Beynac and Castlenaud. We booked a canoe trip from reception, with transport to and from the campsite - fantastic service and great way to see the area. Beautiful swimming pool, enjoy the amazing view whilst sunbathing! Marina and Anthony are very welcoming hosts and so helpful-we had the wrong lead for the electric hookup and immediately a replacement was found. It’s the details that make this campsite so good- daily bread delivery, snack bar with crepes, small shop.
Mariana and Anthony have only been at the campsite a few seasons and have plans to develop the toilet and shower blocks by the pool. The present facilities are a little dated but always clean, and very well maintained.
The largest pitch we have ever stayed on, the size meant we had room to really spread out, moving our tables and chairs into shade or sun as we wanted. The location by the river was so peaceful, with privacy from the footpath provided by hedges. We were camping in tents, so the electric hook up and fridge provided a bit of luxury and easy phone charging.

What a lovely site to say at. Warm welcome from your hosts Marina & Antony on arrival.Lovely well kept site in a beautiful position on the banks of the Dordogne river surrounded by castles. We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 5 as did not want to leave.
Lovely pitches with good space between you and other campers. Pitches are level and some have river frontage. Very peaceful.

The view of the river was fantastic, the facilities clean, the pitch was amazing, and we were made to feel welcome. This is a site where, clearly, the experience of the camper comes before profit.

A wonderful 3 nights next to the Dordogne river. Easy walking to beautiful villages and chateaux. Facilities are very clean and well cared for. Really liked have the compost and recycling containers we were given on arrival.

Pas grand chose a dire. Camping calme propre et super acceuil
Peut être ee jolies allées entre le bas et le haut sans passer par la route ou le champs mais apparemment c est prevu. Donc bon courage pour ces prochains travaux.
Tres bien propre et ombragé.
Un petit bemol sur la soirée de dimanche beaucoup de bruit jusqu'à très tard dans la nuit mais vous n y etes pour rien.

Le Périgord est une région à découvrir qui regorge de beaux lieux Et ne passer pas à côté du camping les 5 châteaux sans vous y arrêter vous y trouverez un excellent accueil des propriétaires dans un cadre verdoyant avec de spacieux emplacements ombragé et mobil home bien équipée
Pour notre part sur la location du mobil home confort il nous aurait manqué une clim réversible si notre séjour ce serait pass sous la chaleur
Tous ce que avions besoin était au rendez électroménager literie et le tout dans la propreté
Une climatisation réversible serait bien indispensable au cas de fortes températures pour quand une appellation MOBIL HOMME CONFORT

Gazon synthétique plage piscine brûlant, pas très confortable d'y marcher pied nus, dommage car esthétiquement c'est jolie
Taille emplacement, belle intimité, bien ombragé
Les haies empêchent de voir la rivière, donc pas un grand intérêt de choisir cet emplacement, en plus chemin qui passe juste devant
