Beautiful, huge pitch right beside the river with plentiful sun and shade. Campsite is peaceful and within easy walking distance of 2 villages/castles and restaurants. Owners are so friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful laidback holiday. Best part was sitting in the river in front of our pitch listening to the birdsong. At the end of our stay we had a major problem with the caravan. Marina and her Anthony were so helpful. They translated for us,offered us free accommodation and even got up at 6am for another attempt to put the caravan right.

We stayed on an Xxl pitch right beside the river. Huge, level pitch with sun and shade. The footpath along the river ran just in front. There was a small beach in front of us with easy access to the river. The owners have big plans to develop the site which sound wonderful

We love to visit this site and stay as part of our yearly trip through France. You will receive a friendly and helpful welcome when you arrive until you leave. Showers and toilets are very good and kept clean. There is a great washing machine and tumble dryer to use if needed. Lovely pool and area with loungers to relax. It sits in a beautiful spot next to the Dordogne river. Perfect for swimming in or kayaking on. Some activities but only in the peak season along with a bar which offers some food in the evenings which we have yet to try. We will certainly be returning again. Thank you
Not a criticism just an observation. A temperature control on the showers would be nice so as to choose whether you want a hot or cold shower. Currently pot luck.
Nice large pitches with some alongside the river. Plenty of shade if needed. Ensure you have a long electric cable as some pitches are not close to the EHU point you need to use. Plenty of water points by the pitches. Great spots for watching the wildlife and relaxing.

Lovely site. One of our new favorites and we would absolutely return. Great location right next to the Dordogne. Next to some very pretty villages and a choice of Chateaux. Friendly, English speaking owners. Clean facilities and amenities. Awesome seeing the balloons come down the river most mornings or evenings. We will be back!
Maybe open the bar in June because that's when we normally come over! 😂😉

Lovely little site on the bank of the Dordogne. Nice big spacious plots. Nice pool, clean toilets and showers with hot water. Washing up facilities and laundry.

Spotlessly clean, really helpful and friendly team who run the place and a great location, walkable to Beynac and Marqueyssac gardens which means you don't have to drive every day.

Good well sized pitch.
One of the lights on the shower block is really bright and does need either repositioning or moving as it lights up the pitch adjacent to the play area. We think it went off at midnight though?

At the weekend you can pick up food, which is fantastic. The new chalet is fully equipped. A lot is being done for the environment.

We loved staying at Cinq Chateaux! Excellent location on the river, only a short walk to Beynac and some other lovely places to eat and drink. Our pitch was near the play area so it was perfect for our children. We loved that the sites were shaded and had privacy thanks to the trees. We ordered bread every morning which was delicious and a great service. Loved trying the local beer and wine at the bar, and the food was nice too. Showers and toilets were clean and plenty of hot water. The campsite guide was very useful and we were impressed by the eco credentials e.g. reusable cups.
A little more shade around the pool during the afternoon when it's hottest would be good - the position of the shades means that there's hardly any shade during the afternoon, only in the morning.
Nice shaded pitch, separated from others by well established hedge. We liked that ours was near the play area and would probably request that again.
Our pitch was on the small side - probably only just 100m2 - which was fine as it was big enough for us but may not have been for a bigger set up. Be sure to bring an extension or long enough cable as the hook up is very far from the pitch!

Large riverside pitch with trees and hedges providing shade and privacy. Perfect peaceful location with riverside walk into Beynac and Castlenaud. We booked a canoe trip from reception, with transport to and from the campsite - fantastic service and great way to see the area. Beautiful swimming pool, enjoy the amazing view whilst sunbathing! Marina and Anthony are very welcoming hosts and so helpful-we had the wrong lead for the electric hookup and immediately a replacement was found. It’s the details that make this campsite so good- daily bread delivery, snack bar with crepes, small shop.
Mariana and Anthony have only been at the campsite a few seasons and have plans to develop the toilet and shower blocks by the pool. The present facilities are a little dated but always clean, and very well maintained.
The largest pitch we have ever stayed on, the size meant we had room to really spread out, moving our tables and chairs into shade or sun as we wanted. The location by the river was so peaceful, with privacy from the footpath provided by hedges. We were camping in tents, so the electric hook up and fridge provided a bit of luxury and easy phone charging.

What a lovely site to say at. Warm welcome from your hosts Marina & Antony on arrival.Lovely well kept site in a beautiful position on the banks of the Dordogne river surrounded by castles. We booked for 2 nights and stayed for 5 as did not want to leave.
Lovely pitches with good space between you and other campers. Pitches are level and some have river frontage. Very peaceful.

The view of the river was fantastic, the facilities clean, the pitch was amazing, and we were made to feel welcome. This is a site where, clearly, the experience of the camper comes before profit.

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour dans votre camping.
Resté vigilant sur l'entretien des emplacements, qui doivent être nettoyer hors quand celui ci est occupé. Nous nous sommes retrouvés avec le tracteur tondeuse dans un nuage de poussière alors que mon Van et celui des voisins autour était ouvert. Pas cool du tout.
J'ai bien apprécié le cadre du camping, des sanitaires propres et les emplacements ombragé.

L'emplacement du camping est idéal pour laisser sa voiture de côté et faire une grande partie des visites à pieds. Le départ des mongolfières le matin, la Dordogne accessible du camping pour se délasser d'une belle journée. Le personnel accueillant, à l'écoute de ses clients. Et puis le plus la piscine qui n'est pas très grande mais elle suffit pour se rafraîchir et faire quelques longueurs.
Mobilhome idéalement placé, en face un champ de blé, au calme.
Nous n'avons pas eut de chances beaucoup de moustiques à la période où nous sommes allés et à cause de la canicule pas le droit de faire de barbecue.
