Wonderful stay on this lovely site
Pitch was perfect - lovely view of the chateau. Demarcation hedges either side of pitch.

A lovely stay as always at Les Deux Vallées. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else. It’s perfect.

Amazing pitch. We couldn’t believe the size. A lovely view of the chateau at Beynac too.
It had absolutely no shade (or breeze). This probably wouldn’t be a huge issue in normal circumstances, however, with temperatures exceeding 40 it was pretty hard to keep cool. It just gave us a good excuse to spend even more time at the pool .

Very friendly and helpful owners. Peaceful site working easy walking distance of Beynac.
Lots of space in a quiet part of the site. Loved the smell of fresh mint growing

Really enjoyed my stay here with Derrick and Caroline excellent hosts. For value, you can't go wrong. Us being Irish, we were shocked how many people from Holland were here. Kudos to them for finding this camping.
A few more bits and bobs in the shop. But you are not to far away from excellent Le Clerc store if needed.
Moved pitch, but that was we extended our stay. Happy out

I didn’t see the Bar open
We are pleased that you chose to stay at our campsite and were happy to welcome you. Sorry to hear that you didn't notice the bar was open. We organized concerts and entertainment at the bar, all of which were announced in our campsite app. We hope you'll have the opportunity to enjoy these activities during a future visit.

The campground is wonderfully situated for walking both just for a walk and to tourist sites like Château de Beynac and Les Jardins de Marqueyssac. Take a short walk to Le Moulin du Trel it’s fascinating and if you are cooking for yourself he sells oils you want to try. The small commercial area in Beynac has a small but well stocked convenience store, an excellent butcher and a wonderful bakery. Don’t pass up the bread order in the campground and eat in the campground restaurant both are worth it.
Caroline and Derrick work very hard to ensure what you expect from their website becomes reality when you arrive. We stayed 17 days in one of the two lodges during one of this years heat waves. The lodge is well shaded and it was easy to cool off for sleeping. After one night in the lodge it felt like home. Our cat fully approved of the loft view of the salon area We appreciated their efforts to make the campground as eco friendly as possible.

The campsite is well located, nestled within a beautiful area of the Dordogne. It is a 10 minute walk to the river and charming village of Beynac, and within easy reach of many beautiful villages and castles. There are plenty of places to explore on foot. It is also great for photographers like ourselves. It is a small family run campsite, with a fabulous pool, restaurant, bar and take away facilities. There is also a small shop and fresh bread and pastries available daily. The owners are extremely friendly and any problems addressed immediately. This is our 3rd visit. Many thanks
Perfect for 2.

This was our 4th trip to les deux vallee and that in itself speaks volumes. Great site, great amenities and terrific owners in Derek and Caroline. They make sure you have the best time by ensuring everything is as you would need and their availability is as you would expect. We absolutely love it and hopefully will continue too.
None that we can think of!!
We love this accommodation as it gives you the feel of camping but with the added luxuries for a little extra comfort.
To be hyper critical, the mattresses could be a bit thicker, as at times it felt a little uncomfortable with bed base coming through.

If you want a quiet, peaceful rest surrounded by mature trees and a magic pool get this site on your bucket list. We have been there a number of times and would go again and again. Lovely spot. My only problem is it is 1000miles form home but worth every mile. Keep up the good work Derrick!!

Extremely helpful and welcoming staff; great views of the castle and just a short walk to the river and cafes. The whole site was well tended - bushes trimmed and pitches with well maintained grass.
More water points
View of the castle from our well tended grassy pitch

Excellent reception, Derek was very knowledgeable and helpful. The little restaurant provided a good meal on our first evening. We liked the thought given to running the site sustainably - especially the chickens to eat food scraps! Careful thought had been given to create a footpath directly to Beynac, avoiding the road.
There were some lovely pitches. Ours was on the smaller side and completely unshaded. As we visited during a heatwave it meant our van was very hot. There weren’t really any shaded, public spaces to sit.
Lovely flat pitch, convenient access to water
No shade and minimal privacy between our pitch and one on the other side

There is a really friendly and relaxed ambience at Les Deux Vallees. The facilities are of a high standard. High points include - very clean shower and toilet block, great swimming pool area, good location for visiting this part of the Dordogne, easy and scenic walk to Beynac from the campsite.
The internet access was sometimes inadequate.
The Safari tent is great- comfy bed, very well equipped, very clean. Good proximity to all campsite facilities. The tent has everything you need for a great camping experience.
