Camping Les Magnanas

Beautiful site next to the river. We swam everyday including a long swim from Le Roque Gageac back to the site. Watching the hot air balloons in the morning was another highlight. Being able to have a cold drink and ice cream at the bar was brilliant. We were lucky enough to be there when the site hosted a live band and fabulous food (roast pork and beans). We had pizza from the food van one night and it was great. The kids loved the trampoline, bouncy castle and football/volleyball field. A great family site and I am sure we will be back.

The addition of toilet roll would be fab but you get used to remembering to take your own!

Great location

All amenities are there plus a cafe/bar. Perfect for a drink on a summer evening. Staff and owner very nice people. Really enjoyed my stay.

Very quiet and peaceful site with plenty of space between the mobile homes. Excellent toilet and shower facilities for campers. good on site bar.

Email request for mobile home equipment not replied to. mobile home did not have a kettle. No bed linen supplied, fortunately we took our own bedsheeet, duvet, and pillows.

We had a great pitch with easy access to the beach and enjoyed the bar and food trucks in the evening

9am is a bit late for recieving bread

The site is in a fantastic location with river access and within easy walking distance of Beynac, Castenaud and la Roque. Several improvements have been made since we stayed last year that have added to its appeal. We hope to return when next in the area.

We were welcomed as we arrived and shown to our pitch but not told where anything else was, e.g. water taps. had had a long drive so diodnt think of asking at the time. The site itself is very pleasant, good river access, (theres a beach but if you're thinking of paddling upstream and drfiting down again its a strong current and its achievable but hard work). Food offerings are food vans that stop by the bar - these are good and varied. Camp cat was very friendly.

A little more information on facilities on arrival would have been good and the toiltes/showers are adequate compared to some of the sites we visited this summer. Nothing wrong with them but there could have been a few more.

Bar area a bit cluttered

A lovely spot on the banks of the Dordogne. Good facilities. Lots of choices of pitch. And a really lovely little bar and chilled area that often has food trucks for evening food. The team were really friendly and helped whenever we had any questions. We will want to stay again!

We love the simplicity and peacefulness. The location on the river is perfect. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. Watching the balloons each day was wonderful

Le séjour fut presque parfait : excellent emplacement (proximité des châteaux, accès rivière…), très bon accueil des gérants, camping où on se sent très bien !

Seul bémol : on attend (même aux heures « creuses ») son tour pour aller se doucher… il fait vraiment plus de douches.

Reposer , ressourcer , très belle endroit accès à la Dordogne avec très belle vue sur les châteaux.

Le nombre de douche ,voir douche froide extérieur pour forte chaleur.

L'accès rapide à la Dordogne, la terrasse du bar qui est très agreable

Peut être quelques douches et WC supplémentaires. Les bacs à vaisselles qui sont situés un peu loin suivant l'emplacement sur lequel on se trouve (mais bon c'est les vacances on peut prendre le temps;)
