Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process.

This is our second stay at L'Orangerie de Beaurgard last year we were in our motorhome. Due to a change in circumstance we decided to stay in the apartment Vouvray. Tim and Jane the owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. The pool area is very clean and the pool is warm. It is lovely to see a ramp into the pool making it is accessible for those in a wheelchair or whom have a physical disability. The Burger Bar serves excellent burgers, if you don't feel like cooking. You can order morning bread and croissants. We will go back in 26.
The apartment is well equipped and comfortable. Good shade given by a sun canopy sail over the courtyard garden.
It would have been nice to have larger outdoor lounge furniture or a couple of sunbeds to use in the courtyard.

What a fabulous site. Spacious pitches with electricity and water close by. Great walking opportunities in woods with our two dogs. Pity we only had a short time to explore. We hope to come back next year for a more extended visit.
See above. Great pitch. Choice of pitches with more sun and also more shade. water and electricity close to hand.

We loved the grounds and the way the castle was integrated into the site. The activities were friendly, cultural and low key - just how we like it. We were given a lot of help choosing our pitch - a superb welcome.
Epicerie could have been better stocked.
Mix of shade and sun. Flat. Quiet.

We have stayed at the campsite a number of times and it improves every year. A place to create amazing memories with the family!
The Swimming pool and every year you discover something new. This time we went on the forest walk and learnt all about the beautiful forest surrounding the property

Site was clean and well kept. The pool was fantastic. The Monday market was fab. Staff helpful.
Having the pool bar open earlier. Also we weren’t able to get a coffee in the milk bar as they said they didn’t start them until after 9.30am even though there was nobody in and the collection of the pastries & bread wasn’t busy that day. I wasn’t sure why as there was someone behind the counter & the coffee was right there!
The shower was a good pressure & the heated towel rail was a bonus.
Wasn’t aware one of the beds would be a sofa bed. It states it can sleep 6 I have no idea where the sixth person could sleep as the sofa bed was only suitable for one. It was very uncomfortable. Fridge far too small.

We had a fabulous time, the grounds are beautiful, the team are fantastic and really helpful and we all loved the heated pool! The burger bar, pizza and beer van and fresh bread and pastries to order for each morning were excellent. We enjoyed visiting Amboise, Tours and beautiful village of Lavardin and using hire bikes to cycle to Caves Cathelineau recommended by Tim which offered a wonderful wine tasting experience. The children enjoyed a pony ride at nearby stables booked for us by Jane.
It would have been good to have some fresh fruit and veg available in the milk bar and perhaps a bigger selection of dry goods.
It was really comfortable and cozy accommodation for the 5 of us. Our 3 kids loved sleeping in the upstairs bedroom. It was great to have the bell tent to hang out especially as we had a few days of rain
It would have been good to have been closer to the sanitary block but as it was off season the closest block was closed which is understandable.

It's a beautiful spot to stay and well maintained and clean.
After an 18 hour travel including 6 hours of driving, we arrived at 8:55pm, hungry and exhausted. After we completed check-in formalities, we wanted to have some food before going to bed. We were not served food because the closing time was past a few minutes. No vending machines or other restaurants around and really hungry, it was a desparate situation. In the end, I had to fill my stomach with water and try to sleep with an empty stomach. Customer service needs improvement.
Quite place surrounded by nature
The lack of food service or options after 9:00pm

Such a great campsite, we are now spoilt to stay anywhere else. The pitch was perfect for us with lots of space and the toileting/showering facilities are far greater than many. Your team are all so wonderful and the activities you offer for the whole family are so great, let alone the fab swimming pool, forest and play areas to keep all busy. We've had a wonderful stay!
Perfect pitch. Wonderful position on the campsite, huge plot to fit our very large tent in. The shade of the trees really helped on the hottest days and having electricity is such a win. Thank you for a great set up!

What a stunning site . Everyone was so welcoming. The place is so classily done . A little gem

So much was provided, from fridge , gas cooker , to all plates and utensils. The main tent was spacious and we used as our changing room . The rooms were dark . It made camping so easy
With younger children we had to sleep with one upstairs and one down stairs as no access to them from inside . This would not be an issue when kids older

We went to the train safari on bikes, and visited beautiful Amboise and blois as well. We also had days where we just stayed on the site as there is so much you can do there.
Great, as we expected
There were some cigarette butts left on the pitch from the previous occupants

What a gem of a site. Beautiful grounds with the chateaux, orangerie and chapel. Immaculately facilities and very handy for us to stop at for a few night on the way back to Caen.
Nice size pitch with water and electric

This was our third visit - 3 years in a row tells you all you need to know. This time we were on the Northern pitches and had loads of shade. The pool is lovely - we love the area and the new Burger Bar met our food needs. We love the Vouvray wines and enjoyed visiting some new wineries.
None
Shade, water on the pitch to connect the caravan to directly, excellent sanitary and washing up facilities
We had a few noisy neighbours with children. Could you have an adult only area on the site? I would pay a premium for this similar to the premium pitches.

Lovely site, great facilities, everything was clean. Would definitely visit again.
We had plenty of space on this large pitch. Having a fridge, bench and pergola was brilliant, it meant we didn't have to bring loads of our own stuff.
