A lovely campsite and a good location for exploring parts of the Garonne Canal. The pitches were excellent and the the service perfect, fresh baked bread and croissants in the morning.
The facilities are spotless and in good order but feel a little old and could maybe do with some renovation.
We stayed with a VW camper and the pick with electrical hook up was excellent.

In reference to your comment about the age of the toilet block, we acknowledge that the main block is not new, however, the reduced mobility washroom was constructed in the last few years. In the main block the taps, shower heads and hoses & the toilets are all new. We provide hand soap and toilet paper; and as you noticed it is kept spotlessly clean. Regarding ecology & sustainability we have solar powered hot water and generate at least 30 % of our electricity by solar also, we hand sort the recycling to make sure that we are as responsible as possible. A composter is set aside for the use of our campers. We hope that you enjoyed the rest of your journey along the canal.

Large spacious pitches, plenty of shade from trees. Handy for overnight stop when travelling north/south.
Showers could do with updating, quite tight cubicles and awkward step up to shower.

Lovely hosts. The food is absolutely delicious & well worth the cost. Swimming Pool is so good too.
Update the shower/toilet block. Getting up to the pool could also do with a handrail.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review of your stay. We are delighted that you apreciated your overnight stop. For future reference there is a more accessible route to the swimming pool, with no steps, it is possible to park your car near to the swimming pool. Every pitch has a wooden peg with its number. We take every review seriously, and we note your comments on the age of the toilet block. However I must stress that it is kept very clean and we have a new solar powered hot water sysytem .We provide toilet paper and hand soap, all of the shower heads, hoses and taps are new. We also have specially designed toilets that have comfortable rounded tops, so do not need a toilet seat - this is important for cleanliness and hygene. If we rebuilt the toilet block, it may be more esthetically pleasing but it would not serve its purpose any better. It would however be lovely to be able to do this, but at the current time we choose to invest in projects that improve the enviroment & our sustainability.

In a peaceful location, the campsite has plenty of shade, a nice pool and fabulous on site restaurant / bar. We ate there both nights and highly recommend their €23 four course menu with wine and bread, lots of choice and great value with great service, very enjoyable!
Camper van services could be improved as there is no drive over facility for grey waste so currently you do need a grey waste hose or bucket.
Reasonable size and well shaded. Plenty of water taps nearby.

I do feel that I need to clarify a few of your comments. Our toilet block is not new, however the taps, shower heads and hoses & the toilets are all new. We provide hand soap and toilet paper. We show detailed pictures of all facilities on our website so that our campers know what to expect. They are kept spotlessly clean. There are lights on permanently from dusk until dawn, the timed light is just to improve the lighting on a dull day - the toilet block is certainly never in full darkness, if you had a particular problem with the lighting we would have apreciated it being reported to us so that we could check that everything was functioning properly. Noting your score of 8 for sustainability we have solar powered hot water, and generate at least 30 % of our electricity by solar also, we hand sort the recycling to make sure that we are as resposible as possible. A composter is set aside for the use of our campers.

Friendly owners, Sue and George, a beautifully kept quiet site, excellent and spotless facilities. A lovely bar / restaurant overlooking the mill pond. There is a swimming pool with great views over the valley. We definitely recommend this site.

A charming campsite run by an English couple
Warm welcoming and explanation of all the services. Well organized, very clean sanitary, Relaxed and quiet site in the middle of nature. Good dinner served on the terrace, not the usual burger and pizza, but homemade cooking.

Beautiful site - very well kept and pretty. Sue and George looked after us so well. Electric on pitch and water all around the site. The toilets and showers were very clean. Great to have a washer and dryer on site. Highly recommend eating on site - the meals were lovely and Sue is a great chef. Lots to see out and about. A great stay.
