Very happy with pitch and facilities. Good restaurant on site plus games and crazy golf. Particular praise goes to the gardener. Very helpful man

The site situation very pretty and quiet
The view was lovely and everything was so clean. Would return but would like to pick our own pitch as needed more space.
Our site was perfect for our request but very lumping and as we ask for caravan and tent we found it too small.

Nous sommes ravis de lire que vous avez apprécié notre situation en bord de Moselle, un cadre naturel apaisant où il fait bon s’installer pour quelques jours au rythme de la rivière. Votre mention de l’accueil, du dépôt de pain et de l’épicerie nous fait particulièrement plaisir : ce sont des services pensés pour rendre le séjour simple et agréable. Nous sommes également heureux que la propreté des sanitaires ait été à la hauteur de vos attentes. Concernant leur aspect plus ancien, vous avez raison de le souligner. Nous y réfléchissons avec attention, car leur rénovation fait partie de nos projets, tout en veillant à préserver l’esprit du lieu et la qualité d’entretien à laquelle nous tenons chaque jour. Villey le Sec is a peaceful campsite with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and river. There are flower and vegetable beds dotted around that make the site very attractive. The military planes that fly overhead can sometimes be loud but are pretty amazing to watch. The restaurant has an excellent menu and the food we had was delicious and portions are generous. The cheese really is so good. The staff worked incredibly hard but were always friendly and helpful and thankfully spoke English better than I can speak French
No improvement is necessary.
The pitches are spacious and there are plenty of electricity hook up points. Sanitaire facilities are plentiful and cleaned daily to a high standard.
Water for washing up seemed less hot than previous years but not a big deal.

We arrived in the worst weather of our trip. TheMoselle river was running high.The well maintained pitches were a tad damp, but held up. It looks like quite a lovely place with herons on the river, owls in the trees. The restaurant was open for the last time and we should have gone, looked busy and lively, but we’d eaten while watching football. Didn’t see a lot. Quick dog walks and back for shelter. Decided to cut our stay and I was delighted that the gentleman running the site refunded a night. This is great. A big thanks. We headed north to find better weather ( weird) for the last leg.

Flat, easy access to electric point
Access to water was governed by your distance from the main sanitation block. Other water standpipes would be nice.

Het lijkt erop dat deze camping steeds populairder wordt . Reserveren is noodzaak, zelfs in september hebben we gemerkt.

We were given a perfect pitch located on the river side. We enjoyed being able to paddleboard but felt let down by the advertising on the camping website which made it sound like watersports were actually happening on the river.
Put seats on the toilets. Put cushions on the cold metal chairs on the restaurant terrace chairs.
Great view on the river
Other pitches close to the WC block looked cramped. Very little wildlife on the river. No other river users apart from fishermen . Maybe due to the industrial cargo ships using the canal.

One not to be missed, the owners/staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The site it's self is at the side of a beautiful river with very large barges and boats going up and down. The facilities are excellent , they are very clean and have plenty of hot water. You can order bread etc for breakfast and there is also a restaurant/bar on site which was very busy. Thank you for a great stay.

The blonde lady on reception gave us, as usual, a great pitch. Large enough to accommodate the camper, trailer and car. Always a peaceful and relaxing start to our holiday 💕

We enjoyed everything a lot: beautiful nature, walking routes and the whole environment offering a lot of possibilities to spend your time in many various ways outdoors. Fishing was a lot of fun as well, almost possible to do from our veranda :-) We enjoyed the restaurant a lot as well, it was above expectations. The reception staff were very friendly and efficient. The accommodation was comfortable and clean. It was all in all a lovely one-week stay and we would definitely love to come back. Thank you for everything!
Nothing to improve. The only little disappointment has been the fact that the river is not suitable for swimming, but this not something the camping can do anything about;-)

This Camping site was Lovingly maintained and it was interesting to observe that this had an effect on a friendly ‘hello’ or ‘good day’ between the guests.
May be it is possible to cultivating dry grassland on the grounds were Tents being pitched.
The view and the Trees allong the Moselle, it was great to put up our hammock and lie there forgetting the time.
