Very pretty site, lovely helpful staff, great views. Near train station so we took a trip to Milan. Lake Orta is gorgeous.
Toilets definitely need updating. Only one ‘normal’ toilet and 3 squatting, often a small queue for ‘normal’ toilet. Showers were clean, disappointing to have to pay 50cents for them though. Swimming pool ok, hats obligatory.

Mosquitos. Near bar area which could be noisy.

We love this camp-site because you immediately feel at home once you are there. There are a lot of greens around you. Very nice surroundings for hikers and bikers. Paolo and his staff are very welcoming, always helpful, nice and relaxed. Thank you for this great vacation!
Could you repair the table-football please?

For those who want to cook, bring your own frying pan, good knives and a cutting board.

Meget smal vej op til pladsen så pas på når du kører op. Og tag den vej op ved tankstationen. Vi fik taget den først via google Maps som var helt gal. Ramte en kantsten og punkterede på det ene dæk på campingvognen. Med hjælp fra lokale, råd om vej og et reservedæk. Kom vi dog frem. Stor tak til de lokale folk for deres hjælp og venlighed

Toilet facilities could be improved Site is probably better for smaller camper vans We were in a tent, the ground was stoney and hard and could be felt when walking in the tent. Another distraction from what is a very nice site was the amount of flies and mossies

Lovely views from the camping site. Small camping site and very helpful owner and staff.
Maybe better explanation information on the shower deposit scheme and the much appreciated services of the freezer and cooler that I did eventually find on site. The web site mentioned a bus service discount was available but nothing available when I asked for this information on the site. The recycle bin area could be easily improved.

'd Orta lake is beautifull and not that busy as for instance lago Maggiore. Great area, many things to see and do. Good restaurant behind the camping.
The mobile home is somewhat out of date and some things were broken (parts of the fridge, toiletseat). Too many rules in the swimming pool.

We've had an enjoyable vacation at Camping Royal. The personnel is very friendly, I really liked the bar with the beer from the tap and the possibility to order bread until late in the evening.
The porch was very nice. Also the shower was good. Good thing it has insect screens! It was a cosy mobile-home, the airconditioning was also something I really liked.

Prachtige plek met uitzicht over lago d’orta. Lekkere pizza’s en fijn zwembadje. Maar vooral de gemoedelijkheid en de rust, ook met veel kinderen, op deze camping beviel ons heel goed. Lago d’orta heeft veel kleine strandjes om dagen te vullen als je geen zin hebt in culturele of actieve activiteiten.
Sanitair was wat verouderd (schoon, maar verouderd) en jammer dat het zwembad dicht ging voor siësta.
Lekker plekje voor onze tent met fantastisch uitzicht.

Camping propre et calme a taille humaine. Propriétaire très sympathique et parlant français. Tarif tout a fait correct. Bar et petite restauration a des prix très abordables également. Très ombragé.

Je zit ongeveer een kilometer van het meer, waardoor het een ruimer opgezette camping is. Niet massaal, goed verzorgd en aardige familie die de camping runt.
Je moet wel tegen het klokken luiden van de naastgelegen kerk kunnen

Verbessern können die Betreiber des Camping Platzes nichts. Nur die Straße die zum Campingplatz führt ist etwas abenteuerlich.
Die Toiletten und Duschen waren immer sauber
Man sollte mehr Toiletten zum sitzen einbauen. Für ältere Menschen sind die Toiletten zum hinknien nicht geeignet

Camping Royal is een oase vsn rust. De camping is mooi gelegen op een berg met zicht op het Orta meer. De camping is erg schoon, wordt goed onderhouden, minimaal 2x per dag wordt het sanitair schoongemaakt. Je kunt bij de bar een lekker drankje halen en ook kun je er een heerlijke pizza of pasta bestellen. De eigenaar en medewerkers zijn heel vriendelijk en staan direct voor je klaar. Al met al hebben wij een heerlijke vakantie gehad.

Rustige en veilige camping. Prachtig uitzicht, en heel vriendelijk personeel. Prijs/kwaliteit is goed. Kinderen hebben zich ontzettend goed vermaakt.
De camping is wat gedateerd maar heeft anderzijds ook zijn charme. Door de ligging wel heel veel last van muggen! Verder heb je voor vrijwel alles de auto nodig, omdat de camping vrij ver op de berg ligt.
Alle basics waren aanwezig. Airco was prettig.
Het is een gebruikte mobile home. Goed te zien aan de bank , het toilet en de badkamer. Een opknapbeurt zou helpen.

Het uitzicht is fantastisch, de sfeer opde camping is goed en de streek is geweldig.
Het uitzicht over het meer is heel mooi.
De stacaravans zijn vrij oud, maar ok.
