Very pretty site, lovely helpful staff, great views. Near train station so we took a trip to Milan. Lake Orta is gorgeous.
Toilets definitely need updating. Only one ‘normal’ toilet and 3 squatting, often a small queue for ‘normal’ toilet. Showers were clean, disappointing to have to pay 50cents for them though. Swimming pool ok, hats obligatory.
Large enough pitch.
Mosquitos. Near bar area which could be noisy.

We love this camp-site because you immediately feel at home once you are there. There are a lot of greens around you. Very nice surroundings for hikers and bikers. Paolo and his staff are very welcoming, always helpful, nice and relaxed. Thank you for this great vacation!
Could you repair the table-football please?

For those who want to cook, bring your own frying pan, good knives and a cutting board.

Meget smal vej op til pladsen så pas på når du kører op. Og tag den vej op ved tankstationen. Vi fik taget den først via google Maps som var helt gal. Ramte en kantsten og punkterede på det ene dæk på campingvognen. Med hjælp fra lokale, råd om vej og et reservedæk. Kom vi dog frem. Stor tak til de lokale folk for deres hjælp og venlighed

Toilet facilities could be improved Site is probably better for smaller camper vans We were in a tent, the ground was stoney and hard and could be felt when walking in the tent. Another distraction from what is a very nice site was the amount of flies and mossies

Lovely views from the camping site. Small camping site and very helpful owner and staff.
Maybe better explanation information on the shower deposit scheme and the much appreciated services of the freezer and cooler that I did eventually find on site. The web site mentioned a bus service discount was available but nothing available when I asked for this information on the site. The recycle bin area could be easily improved.

'd Orta lake is beautifull and not that busy as for instance lago Maggiore. Great area, many things to see and do. Good restaurant behind the camping.
The mobile home is somewhat out of date and some things were broken (parts of the fridge, toiletseat). Too many rules in the swimming pool.

We've had an enjoyable vacation at Camping Royal. The personnel is very friendly, I really liked the bar with the beer from the tap and the possibility to order bread until late in the evening.
The porch was very nice. Also the shower was good. Good thing it has insect screens! It was a cosy mobile-home, the airconditioning was also something I really liked.

Ein kleiner terrassenförmig angelegter Platz mit großzügigen Stellplätzen. Kleiner Pool (Badekappenpflicht!), Kleiner Laden mit Bistro, sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen. Sehr gutes Restaurant ein paar Schritte entfernt. Sehr nette Leitung, die fast immer ansprechbar war. Die Anfahrt vom Lago aus ist etwas herausfordernd, aber man wird mit einem ruhigen und schön gelegenen Platz belohnt. Vielen Dank, wir kommen gerne wieder!
Es wäre schön, wenn man für ein paar Euro eine Badekappe kaufen könnte, wir haben weder in Omega noch in Orta eine gefunden.
Großzügiger Platz mit toller Sicht, Ruhe Perfektes Regenwassersystem, selbst nach dem Starkregen des letzten Tages gab es kein Problem. Der Service im Bistro war super.

De mobilehome was prima en lag op een mooie plek. De omgeving is prachtig. Het personeel was heel aardig en behulpzaam.
Er kon iets meer keukengerei aanwezig zijn zoals opdien schalen en bakjes voor bijvoorbeeld yoghurt. In de loop van het verblijf werd een deel van de igbedden bij het zwembad opgeruimd waardoor er te weinig voor alle gasten waren. Voor de rest alles prima.

L'accueil très sympathique, le calme, la propreté et le cadre. Dommage que les parkings soient payants et chers. Il n'y a pas de commerces de proximité et de qualité (fruits légumes voire bio)
La supérette de l'accueil pourrait vendre quelques produits typiques de la région: pâtes, pâtisseries...

Il manque un petit four (micro ondes/grill) et des pinces à linge. Un relax sur la terrasse serait apprécié
