Evaluations that are not older than three years and have undergone a verification process. More infoIt’s already our 2nd time at ettelbruck, we love do to camping and the place was so peaceful. You can relax if you want to enjoy the nature and out of the noisy cars.
It’s a good place and a good price

The campground was clean, friendly and convenient. It was easy to get into town.
Plenty of space
It would be nice to have access to the hiking trail behind the campground.

Grote plaats om de tent neer te zetten, schoon sanitair en vriendelijke medewerkers.
Er is een apart gedeelte voor campers.
Een deel van de speeltuin was afgesloten.

We LOVE this site and visited last 8 years ago. It did not disappoint on our return. It’s really relaxed and has great set up for the bar and toilets. It’s very clean. The bar has a great atmosphere and the staff allowed us to stay later for drinks after a long drive from Germany. The play areas are awesome for the children!
More areas with electric and water taps signposted.
I liked you could choose your own space. The camping has electric available and is in close proximity to the toilets and bar. Really quiet campsite which was clean. Warm atmosphere on the site from the clientele.
Numbered camping plots or more defined markings could be more helpful. We arrived late and found it difficult to see the white markings on the floor (most vans had parked on the edge of the marked areas so some spaces were small and was difficult to see if it was actually a space when driving).

Nice area.
More toilet and shower blocks.
Terraced flat pitches o a hillside with plenty of trees for shade. Great bar with friendly staff.
Due to the heat wave the ground was baked hard making it difficult to drive pegs into the ground. Not the owners fault!

We stayed here for 3 nights after it was recommended to us. Lovely site, quiet, situated within walking/cycling distance to the town.
Pitch was good, level and fairly spacious.

Location was perfect, restaurant and bar was good quality, staff and waitresses were helpful. Would definitely use again.
None that I can think of.
Pitch for camper and awning
Maybe slightly clearer pitch markers but that’s being very picky.

Excellent facilities, helpful staff, a beautiful location.
Spacious pitches, easy to assess, electricity hook ups

Would go again, free buses every two hours, walking quite hill quite steep but two roads one for a slighter incline is a bit easier,
For the price none really, Facilities dated but clean
Shame it had been raining so much, so parking was limited to hard standing
probably bigger pitches and clearer marking for the hard standing?

Clean toilets, with seats and paper! Good hard standing for our moho, friendly team in reception and bar
Easy to navigate.

Friendly staff, especially the owner. Easy check in and check out. Unlimited shower duration. Facilities were clean. Quiet during nighttime.
No roofed common area for backpackers and travelers with tents. No designated place to charge phones, and power banks.
Close to the entrance. Close to the toilet and dishwashing area.
Area is small so tents are pitched quite close. No roofed common room. No designated phone charging area.

When we first arrived at the campsite the reception staff were very informative in giving us their recommendations for where is best to park the car and pitch our tent. When we realised we forgot items, the reception were keen and quick to lend us them. We was given free choice of where to stay in the camping zone which was great! The site was very clean, including a very clean shower and toilet block as well as washing up area. There was also a nice emphasis on recycling around the site. The views were lovely, which made beautiful evenings and an overall amazing stay.
We was given free choice on where to park and pitch our tent, letting us pick the views that we wanted to admire during our weekend. The site is well kept with no litter in sight. Lovely wildlife in the area too, with a relaxing array of bird song in the mornings.

This is a lovely campsite and yes, I would visit it again. The washroom: toilets, sinks and shower are super clean and spruced up regularly. The site has a restaurant and is frequented by the local people. The walk to Ettelbruck station is around 20 minutes to take you into Luxembourg city and of course all public transport is free (and punctual).
The campsite as others have said is on a steep hill. Not really a downside if you are like me and like to have a daily workout. There are a couple of areas where the grass is not reinforced to take a Motorhome and I think the owners could make this clear to campers as in wet weather it is easy to get stuck in the mud -which I witnessed!
Motorhome pitch is great

Spacious pitches and spotlessly clean toilets
Large flat pitches
Sold our caravan last year and now have a Motorhome…..so do not have transport. Free bus into Ettelbruck does not run at weekends. When we arrived on the Friday were unable to find out bus times and what would be on the destination board. Three times during our stay we walked to and back from the town up the very steep hill. We are both in our seventies and really struggled with the climb. Much as I like the site, think we are too old to cope with the hill!

Camping Ettelbruck is situated in a countryside setting, but with regular buses or a reasonable walk to the town. It is uphill on the way back. The staff team are friendly and helpful. There is a cosy bar offering hot food and drinks; often busy with local residents so booking a table is advised.
The sanitary blocks are clean, but very dated - with just one private wash cubicle. The block was partially closed as we were late in the season, but there were enough facilities for all. Good hot water in the showers. Washing up is outside - again, a little dated.
There are no designated pitches, which was good in low season, as we moved pitch to find more sun. Terraced levels make the most of the hillside location, with some hard standing pitches for motorhomes available. There was some mud around after heavy rain, so these were handy.
Old fashioned sanitary blocks
