Lovely owners, large places, near river where you can swim at different spots.
Comfortable place to stay, nice quiet location on the camping site.
In the Barrel it would be nice to have some hooks for hanging clothes.

The camp placements were large, and the owners spaced everyone out, so we had the impression of camping alone. Our kids made friends there and were very sad to leave. It felt a safe place for kids to roam

Dear family Alagna, many thanks for this kind review ! Yes, our pitches are really large, between 120 and 200 m2, shadowed and not far from the river and the beach, or closed to the playground for the families with small children. Looking forward to welcoming you again !

The staff were super friendly. The campsite was nicely laid out and the pitches were a good size. The food at the restaurant was great quality and pretty good value. The toilet block was kept clean and tidy.
Sometimes the water in the showers didn't run at all and sometimes it only ran for a few seconds. That could be improved. The river level was low (again not your fault), but not great for swimming.
Good size pitches, nicely laid out. We were camping but the other options looked great too.
Ground was a bit hard to put pegs in but I realise there's nothing you can really do about that.
Thank you for leaving a review. You stayed at our small campsite during a drought (the Doux Valley had reached crisis level), so the ground could have been hard and dry and the river level very low. But it has rained a little since then, and the river is flowing again. Indeed, there is not much we can do about it...

Stayed for two nights. The site is set in a super quiet location, off the beaten track, in a really pretty setting. The on site restaurant served excellent food in a quaint outdoor area that provided an excellent atmosphere. The facilities were incredibly clean and hot water plentiful. Access to the river was great for young families. Small play area for children. Fresh bread and croissants available in the mornings and a small selection of essentials (milk / eggs). Site was really quiet after 10pm

Pitches were adequate and mixed in with littles lodges. Nicely broken up by trees and mature hedges.
Those wanting lots of space on their pitch or space between pitches may be disappointed.

An unbelievable site. The owners are so friendly , it automatically feels like a warm place to be. It is at the end of a lane so completely isolated, surrounded by a river, the scenery is stunning. It has a lovely little shop with some of the essentials, croissants and bread can be ordered for the morning. The little restaurant overlooking the river is again pretty magical. No mosquitos either which was a bonus. This was the perfect site for our family, our kids loved it, played in the river all day and the play park while we prepped dinner. We had a tent and the plots were pretty big.
Shower pressure was a bit low

Thanks for your stay and your review, even if it is surprising. Our pitches are much larger than in other campsites, around 150 to 200 m2. A cold water point is available in the sanitary block, 10 meters from your pitch ! The sanitary block is disinfected every day and we have just scrubbed it with a karcher. No, we will not make toilet paper available so that it ends up in packets that block toilets.

On s’est détendues dans ce cadre apaisant. Nos hôtes étaient formidables et les autres vacanciers bien sympathiques aussi. C’est exactement ce qu’on cherchait et dont on avait besoin
Le terrain est arboré, assez large, et laisse suffisamment d’espace pour ne pas être entassés les uns sur les autres

Heerlijk rustige camping, we hadden mooie plaats, geloof nr.23, wel waren we met redelijk grote camper, de toegangsweg vind ik niet geschikt voor een camper, niet voor de weg zelf, maar voor de tegenliggers, we komen nog wel eens terug, maar dan met de auto, niet met de camper, maar het was zeer rustgevend en vriendelijke dame van receptie welke ook nederlands spreekt ( met prachtig accent ! ) Mvg.Ton Borghols

Mooie camping leuke zwemplek op een paar 100 meter lopen nog een grote diepe zwemplek onder het viaduct

Meerdere loslopende honden, zoals op veel Franse campings mijn senior hond werd erg ongelukkig van al die aandacht .

Acceuil au top, 5 étoiles sur 5 Camping bien tenu et magnifique Atypique Très apaisant et cakme
Trop calme pour nous au niveau animation Trio retiré de la ville pour nous. Compliqué de se déplacer en vélo faire les courses et activités Niveau d eau trio bas pour nos envies de rando canoë. En fait c'est pas le lieux, c est nos attentes qui ne sont pas en adéquation avec ce camping.

Prachtige camping aan de Doux, rustig, groen, hele fijne gastvrije eigenaren.
Fijne tent-caravan, super als je zelf niet met een tent en alle spullen wil sjouwen.

Wunderschöner abgelegener naturnaher Platz mit toller Badestelle am Fluss. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Insgesamt hatten wir einen tollen und äußerst erholsamen Aufenthalt.

Der Aufenthalt in diese Region Frankreichs war für uns das erste Mal und wir kommen gern wieder!

Es war ein herzlicher Empfang , sehr freundliche Vermieterin und Vermieter. Ein Campingplatz direkt am Fluss mit Badestelle. Sehr zu empfehlen auch das Restaurant mit französischer Küche. Es befindet sich auch direkt am Fluss auf einer Terrasse im Grünen. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Les jeux pour enfants, la rivère, l'accueil, le calme, le restaurant avec chaise haute, la baignoire bébé
Le confort, l'espace, la proximité avec la rivière et les sanitaires (assez loin pour le calme et assez proche pour la praticité)
Le murier dont les mures tombaient sur la terrasse, pas pratique quand on a un bébé qui se traine par terre. La chaleur (début de canicule) et le fait que le toit soit clair et ne permette pas de faire le noir, pas facile de faire dormir bébé! Mais je pense que ce point concerne les campings en général.
