Lovely peaceful stay among the green oak woods - views of the gorge . Friendly owners . Large pitches for Motorhomes. Snack bar providing simple meals .
Great for hikers - walk to gorge down steep sides of the gorge . Expensive .

Perfect little campsite ably run by Natalie and Christophe. Lovely setting in amongst the shady pines which was perfect for us being in a tent. Private grounds in the national park and a short but let’s not pretend, steep drop down to the gorge for a swim on what felt like a private beach. It’s a great place, nice bar/restaurant/seating area to relax in after your day out on the river it beautiful surroundings. Charming village of La Bastide du Virac on your doorstep too. If you want a laid back slice of camping heaven, this is the place… Thanks for a wonderful welcome and stay.

We had a short but lovely stay at Mille Etoiles in a truly magical location. The vibe is relaxed, the atmosphere calm, everybody being really nice. The kids made friends quickly and we had a fun time hiking down 20 mins to the river for a swim in the river.
The yurt was spacious and well equipped, the facilities clean and well maintained, the staff very friendly and helpful.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Mille Etoiles. The campground is situated beautifully among trees with plenty of shade and sunny spots. Nadine was so helpful with any questions we had. We enjoyed the restaurant which has a nice selection of food and is easy and comfortable, particularly with kids. The option to order baguette and croissants for the mornings was so convenient. And the most wonderful of all was the river. The hike down is a steep 25-30 minute walk but it is so worth it! At the bottom you arrive in a little paradise of coves and rocks and beaches.

Our Safari Lodge was just perfect, spacious, comfortable, clean, well-appointed with everything we needed. We loved the comfort of cooking in our own kitchen and eating on the lovely porch. It truly felt like staying in a cosy cabin. One of the most comfortable stays we have had!
The shower door needs fixing. Everything else was just perfect.

The location of the campsite is excellent. It is really at the heart of all the adventure the region can offer. The safari tents are lovely, and the staff are super helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed the remote countryside and being able to put our donkey in the paddock! It was outside the busy season and very quiet which was great.

Excellent hard working hosts. Fresh croissants, Bread and coffee each morning and nice family menu for the evening if required. Safari lodge perfect for our needs. Our family members with children enjoyed camping on a pitch close by. Peaceful site and great base for exploring the region.
Clean tidy and suited our needs well as other family members stayed onsite on another pitch. They joined us for some family meals around the table on the lodge veranda in the evening.

High quality and standard for camping ground

Yurt was comfortable and convenient, site fairly quiet and well-located in the natural park and a we could walk to the river down the steep gorge track. It's amazing to be able to eat at the campsite cafe and order fresh bakery items every day.
It was slightly annoying to have slippery plastic mattress and duvet covers. But appreciate this is helpful for keeping them clean. Also having to take soap and toilet paper every time we went to the bathrooms (none provided). And we didn't have enough comfortable chairs for everyone (you only have one sun lounger and one hammock for a family of 4).
Yurt has a mini kitchen hut with a cooking stove and fridge and box with all crockery and utensils. Perfect!
Plastic covers on duvet and mattress were slippery and duvet keeps getting bunched up. Recommend bringing your own blankets instead as a duvet isn't really needed in August anyway.

Fabelachtig mooi kampeerterrein in een schitterend gebied. Heel sympathieke eigenaars en een fantastische jeu de boules baan! Er lopen prachtige wandelroutes langs de camping en de rivier is dichtbij.

Mooie plek, dichtbij sanitair, konden een plekje kiezen heel fijn. Helaas geen afscherming van buren.

Wir sind als Familie seit 2015 an der Ardeche. Unser Sohn hat hier schwimmen gelernt. Bisher ist der Campingplatz Mille Etoiles der schönste Campingplatz auf dem wir an der Ardeche waren. Er ist auf einer Schlucht einige Kilometer stromabwärts des Pont d'Arc ruhig gelegen. Es ist ein großzügiges Gelände im Naturschutzgebiet mit vielfältigen Möglichkeiten um zu Zelten. Besonders sympathisch und freundlich macht den Campingplatz die offene und hilfsbereite Art von Nathalie und Christoph. Beide betreiben den Campingplatz. Ich wünsche mir.viele weitere Jahre des Zeltens hier.

Das großzügige Gelände mitten in einem wunderschönen Naturschutzgebiet mit einzigartiger Fauna und Flora. Nathalies und Christophs sympathisch und freundliche Ausstrahlung. Die tollen Lodges und Yurten sowie die vielfältigen Stellplätze für Zelte und Busse.

excellent séjour en famille dans un cadre naturel. un lodge très bien équipé, un accès à la rivière du camping et surtout un accueil chaleureux et familial de la part de nathalie et christophe.

Le camping est mignon, calme et bien arboré, il y fait frais même quand la température grimpe.
En ce début de saison, quelques travaux et petits aménagements sont encore en cours.
L’emplacement est à l’ombre et permet de suspendre des hamacs.
Il manque quelques tables pour partager des repas confortablement.
