With car van for wine tour in cote du Rhone

We liked the service of the reception. Perfect and so kind. And, in English!! We liked the views on the front site over the Rhône. The trees on the campsite and the cosiness of the camping. We also liked the toiletbuilding witch was super clean. And last but not least the location almost in the center of the village with plenty of restaurants. We maybe come back later.

The chalets are a bit poor. Old maybe? But not disturbing. The views at the back of the camping seeing the buildings of the neighbors is not so nice. Old and poor buildings. But you can't do anything about it of course.

Riverside pitch booked through ACSI, friendly reception, all facilities immaculate and modern, lovely town to wander around.

There is always clean everywhere - kind people and good service.

There were building works going on nearby which was noisy between 8-4, but the site is lovely with plesant staff

Super location next to the Rhone. Our pitch was spacious with both sun, shade and excellent view of the river. It is easy walk into town where there are all the shops and restaurants you need. It is quiet at night

Scenic views across the River Rhone. Very pleasant and efficient reception staff. Lovely town of Tournon a short walk away.

Stop the large quantity of birds especially pigeons from roosting in the trees above the pitches. Large amounts of bird droppings all over the parked outfits and pitches.

What a location! Right on the Rhone. The facilities are spotlessly clean, excellent, modern shower blocks and the staff are brilliant. Walkable into the square with lots of cafes and bars to choose from. We will return.

Brilliant location alongside the River location and the ever changing river activity. Excellent camp facilities, really well looked after. Five minute to town centre on foot. Amazing cycle routes including ViaRhona

Superb new toilet block, kept immaculately clean. Great view of the river and the passing boat traffic Lovely swimming pool.

Efficient booking service on line, a friendly welcome, clean facilities, with hand washing, soap and dryer, lovely view over the Rhône, and easy walk into the small town with many bars and restaurants.

Our second time at Vamping Le Rhone. Very clean and tidy site, close to food and beverages. Easy to explore the area on foot or cycle. Perfect for 2 or 3 nights in a Camper.

Fabulous views , right down at the river . Enjoyed watching the river cruises coming up the river and docking beside us . Staff were very pleasant and helpful although they were under a lot of stress as the campsite was full and they were having to juggle people in and out of pitches .

The first pitch we were on had trees above the van , there was fruit falling of the trees all night and covering the van in red juice

It is in the centre of the town, quiet but with plenty of bars, resturants and takeaways and not far from the motorway. good cycle paths around as well.
